My husband has been this warm and welcoming care home for over a year now and I know I made the right choice. I'm so happy with not only the care assistants but all the staff, who are always happy to help and support. They genuinely care about his well being and this is so reassuring.

Putting our Dad in a care home was a very difficult decision for our family. We feel lucky to have found such a lovely place for him to live and be kept safe. The staff there do a brilliant job they are friendly and warm and have made a hard decision a lot more bearable.

I had to leave my husband in respite care for 2 weeks while we were having building work done at home.
It was an eye opening experience as to the amount of work the staff have in caring for the residents. They work so hard & with empathy towards the residents. The food is plentiful & of good quality but maybe a little more help with residents needing to have their food cut up for them.

In general I was pleased with the care given to my husband as he didn't settle particularly well. I would take him there again if it becomes necessary & if they had the space obviously.

My brother has lived at Leighton Court since last July.
The atmosphere in the home that of a wee-regulated family and it was this ambience which led me to choose it.
I think very highly of all the staff whose knowledge of and care for the residents is second to none. Whoever appoints and trains staff is going a good job.
On a number of occasions, my brother has needed a hospital visit or intervention and the home has been quick to respond and diligent in informing family.
I have appreciated talks on dementia etc, and the chance to meet other relatives.

Freedom of choice for residents means disappearance (usually temporary) of private property but my brother needs an EMI home I'm glad we found this home.

My husband has been in Leighton Court for three months. He has settled in ok my husband has some challenging needs and the carers treat him with dignity and kindness. The nurses in charge listen to you if you have any concerns eg. medication. The food is all homemade really tasty. The laundry comes back lovely and fresh. The rooms are cleaned daily and are nice. There are activities every day. As a family we are happy we chose this home.

We couldn't have found a nicer, friendlier, kinder and more caring place than Leighton Court.
The manager and all staff have made a very difficult time much easier and nicer for us whilst moving our mum into 24-hour care that she now needs. Mum has only been here a couple of days, yet she has come on leaps and bounds i.e. eating better and looks really well within herself.

Thank you Leighton Court.

6 months my dad has been a resident, he has settled in so well and is shown a lot of love by most of the staff.
The activities are brilliant. We look forward each week to joining in.
It was a decision we didn't want to make putting Dad in a care home.
But we know we have one of the best.

Even though Leighton Court is new to elderly mentally infirm dementia, I am very happy with how this new facility has now become my Dad's new home, we love coming to visit Dad and his friends.

Our dad was admitted on April the 4th 2024. He has settled quite well, due to the lovely caring staff. They have got to know his ways. Dad feels very at home on most days, he obviously has some ups and downs but I feel confident that his needs are met. Out of many care establishments I visited this one exceeds in all areas, it's not a care home it's my dad's home.
