I was shown what I had to do, then left to get on. Help was there if I needed it, which was a great help.

I was not impressed with Leighton Court at all. My dad went into there from hospital after breaking his hip. I was told by the hospital that he would receive "intensive physio". This certainly didn't happen, the physio staff had so many people to help that it was not very often that Dad received any exercise at all. The patients did not have much in the way of entertainment, it did increase at Xmas but in November and beginning of January there was not much to amuse or occupy anyone.

From the moment I arrived, I was treated with care and kindness.

I can't thank all the staff and management enough, as well as The Occupational Therapist and Physios who have helped me regain my strength to enable me to return home.

My father in law stayed in the care unit for approx four weeks as he had broken his wrist and needed follow up care. From the moment he went until the time he left, the care and compassion he received were exemplary. Lovely food and room. All staff were unbelievable with him. Very professional and always had time for him. I would definitely recommend here to anyone who was looking for somewhere.

I came to Leighton Court Care Home for respite care post hospital admission for pyelonephritis and I am glad to say that I leave here tomorrow 31/8/2018 a stronger and fitter person due to the care and attention I received on a daily basis. Without the encouragement of the staff on a daily basis, this could not have happened. The management here is to be congratulated on the pleasant and warm atmosphere that greets all clients on arrival.

My mother has received the care and support she has required to aid her recovery after a stay in hospital. The care and nursing staff attended my mother 24 hrs a day making her feel safe knowing if she needed assistance in the night there was always someone to help her. My mother has enjoyed her food and has gained weight making her stronger and able to go home soon.

My Dad had care in intermediate care. Some of the carers were nice and kind. Although there was one carer who was uncaring and had an attitude issue. One of the nurses in charge seemed to take a dislike to my Dad. She brought his meds in every day but didn't speak to him. Suddenly, as Dad was nearing to leaving she started chatting to him. He had diarrhoea numerous times. The food wasn't good.

The care and attention is extremely good! Staff very pleasant and caring. Also, the choice of food is good, well thought out. Nice and spacious rooms with toilet wash basin and furniture. Therefore, I would certainly recommend Leighton Court Care Home to members of the public who needed help in this way, as I have done, just coming out of hospital.
