My husband has been in the home since September 2020. Very pleased with care - staff really considerate and friendly. Wonderful with my husband. Unfortunately, he isn't able to leave room now, so it's hard for me to judge level of activities. Communication with management slightly difficult over visits during Covid. My family comment that they would prefer more online communication.

My Uncle is in the best place ever where he is safe, cared for and respected. The staff are outstanding and despite almost eight months before I found out where he was, he had arrived at the home being transferred from the hospital in only pyjamas. As no next of kin was on his file, they managed to source clothing for him from donations, so he was given some dignity. The staff were genuinely in tears when I showed up, they had been caring for a man who they thought had no one, but someone they gave everything to, to make his life better. He is a challenging character, but deep down beneath that, tear down the layers - and there is a gentle and extremely funny soul and I'm glad everyone gets to see that. I can't even begin to know how to thank the staff who work there, because it certainly appears everyone goes above and beyond in providing care, respect, dignity and compassion. My dog also comes along on the visits and he is always welcomed by the other residents. Outstanding caring staff.

My Sister was a resident at this care home but sadly died in December 2019. All the staff were very caring, and I just do not know what I would have done without them. They always made me feel welcome when I visited and treated the residents with love and respect.

Thank you all so much.

My Dad had been in County Homes Care home since February 2019. They have loved, looked after him and kept him warm and safe. Special mention goes to two certain members of staff who loved him like their own father, and supported me so much as well. Everyone is treated like an individual and I have never experienced so much love and attention. They were as concerned as much about me as well, amazing girls.

Excellent caring staff who went above and beyond care for our mum. The staff were always supportive towards the family, most noticeably in the last days of mums life. As in the care service, more staff are always required to meet the areas.

Mum's room was fine and assume it will now be painted prior to the next resident taking up occupancy. Retention of staff is a priority to provide continuity for residents and families which he received.

My parents have been in County Homes for three years. All of the staff are very supportive and friendly. The activities are varied and Dad, in particular, likes to join in and go on days out.

The home is clean and welcoming with a lovely 'cafe' area that visitors can use with their relatives.

As far as I am aware my husband is well cared for, has good food, he is always clean and shaved looks tidy and always has his carer with him. The home itself is very nice not to overcrowded in the lounge which is good he doesn't like to be in crowds. The building is good and clean, bedding is fresh and his clothes are always clean.

My Aunty has advanced Dementia and has previously been in a residential home and another nursing home on the Wirral. She has had to move from these because of her challenging behaviour. We are delighted so far with the care my Aunt has received. She is always up and dressed when we visit, which can be 10am. She is always clean, including her nails and teeth which has previously been a challenge. She has been allowed to wear trousers which the other home couldn't manage. It is very evident that the staff are well trained in dementia care which has benefited my Aunt. She is not as distressed when her personal care is attended to. The policy of living more as a community rather than being in her own room for long periods, we believe helps her feel less isolated and has diminished some of her frustration. The staff manage to give a homely atmosphere which is what we all would like for our loved ones. We also appreciate the 'cafe' facility for residents to use when family visit.

My mother was really well cared for by a great team who were always good to deal with. The atmosphere was friendly, with residents and guests being treated with respect at all times.

The building and facilities may have been a little 'tired', but this was more than compensated for by the team of carers who often went above and beyond expectations - they were outstanding.

My father has been in this home since early September 2017 and from the start, the staff have been brilliant. They cannot do enough for dad and are excellent in knowing how to distract and manage when he gets agitated or distract him when we are leaving after a visit. The place is always clean.

The staff are also very helpful and friendly to the family and friends visiting dad.
