Staff have all taken their time to get to know Nan and the family as visitors, they are aware of her likes and dislikes and show genuine interest in her. There is a clear improvement in her since being there. They are quick to respond to any health/medical concerns and I am confident they advocate for her needs as we would. It would be nice to see variation in activities and use of the building outside of just the lounge. It is also reassuring to know that the manager also knows nan and her needs and wishes.
Thankyou for your kind words its an absolute pleasure
Staff all very caring and patient with my mum. Her wishes are respected, rooms are all very clean. Management easily available if required, all staff are very approachable and have a good understanding of my mums needs and preferences. Would like to see more activities on at least a daily basis, need to vary activities also.
Thankyou for your kind words its an absolute pleasure

we are a home that is very homely and treat all our residents like they are own family
Staff at the Grange are very caring towards my husband (who has dementia) and to myself when I visit. There is always a happy atmosphere in the lounge area and staff engage the residents in a variety of activities, such as bingo, games, singing and crafts. The residents are well cared for, they are always clean and well dressed. My husband is diabetic and his dietary needs are well catered for. His room is always clean and tidy. It is very reassuring to know that he is safe and being well looked after and that the staff will contact me if they have any concerns about him.
thankyou for your kind words, its an absolute pleasure
Having a relative in a nursing home is the last thing anyone wants to happen but the staff at the Grange have eased our discomfort. The atmosphere is very kind and light hearted. They actually have fun which was totally unexpected. They treat mum with respect and kindness. I can't fault them - top marks.
Thankyou for your lovely words its an absolute pleasure
I would recommend Grange Nursing Home.
Good afternoonthankyou for your very kind words, its an absolute pleasure
The staff have provided excellent care for my mother and genuinely seem to care about her and the other residents. I have been updated about any issues to do with my mothers health promptly and the staff seem happy for me to attend at any time. Parts of the premises could do with an update of the decor but overall I am happy for my mum to be there.
Thankyou for your kind words and home improvements remain ongoing
Staff are very friendly and helpful and my husband is well looked after. The manager and the team are always very friendly and polite.
Thankyou for your kind words. Its an absolute pleasure
My mum is in the care home because she has got dementia and the care she gets there is unbelievable they are great with her even when she is horrible to them and they let me bring the dogs in to see her I am very happy with the care I wouldn't get any better anywhere else
Hi thankyou for your lovely words, its an absolute pleasure caring for your mum
This care home is great. Has undergone a huge renovation and all rooms are catered to the residents needs. Very peaceful home and the food is outstanding. Great meal portions and each dietary requirement is noted. Very personable with the residents and a lovely environment to live in. Activities every day and residents are encouraged to join in. Even a free salon on site in the home where they can be pampered. Couldn't recommend this home enough
Hithankyou for your very kind words, the home has has made massive improvements recently and is a lovely place to work
All staff have been fantastic at The Grange in Heswall since my Stepfather was admitted several months ago. The manageress has been particularly helpful (and her Mum) who has been in regular contact in between our visits. Thank you for your ongoing help and support in making my stepdad comfortable under the very difficult circumstances he finds himself in.
Hi Graham, thank you for your very kind words. It's an absolute pleasure looking after your stepfather.
Both myself and my sister both don't live locally so it is good that dad is looked after well which takes away the worry from us both.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a true pleasure caring for your dad.
My mum has been in The Grange since December 2023. The staff are all amazing, nothing too much trouble, they are caring, compassionate and go out of their way on a daily basis. My mum is safe, warm, well fed and every need is attended to. We are so happy that we found them, it is home from home with people who show they care for her when we cannot. Truly professional every single one of them.
Thank you for your kind words. It is a pleasure to look after your mum.
Friendly and supportive staff who try to care for the overall welfare of residents. The home's nursing manager is professional and approachable, looking after the best interests of all residents and coordinating their medical care. Plus, liaising with their relations and her staff, all of whom work together efficiently. Activities for residents are organised by a dedicated member of staff. Close to shops in the centre of Heswall Wirral. Well managed and interior rooms neatly redecorated. Many thanks.
Whenever I visit or call, the manager is always available to talk to and discuss how Mum is doing.
Thankyou for your kind words, it is a pleasure looking after your mum.
Initially, I was nervous about any care home setting, but those feelings disappeared when I came here. The staff are professional, but friendly, kind and dedicated to their work. Personal care is taken seriously, and done regularly to ensure that potential skin problems are avoided. Occasionally, I attend hospital appointments, and when I return here I am assured of a warm welcome. My room is comfortable, kept clean, tidy and it's good to have one or two favourite pictures on the wall. The food is varied and sufficient (I enjoy my meals!), but the correct amount for someone like myself with mobility problems. I always feel relaxed in the congenial atmosphere, and in my view, this is because all those who work here are indeed special people.
Thank you for your lovely review, it is much appreciated.
On the downside, due to the nature of the home and it's residents, there aren't many people who my mum can have full conversations with so hopefully the staff will keep her mind going.
Thank you for your lovely review, your mum has a lovely relationship with all the staff and its a pleasure to see.
The staff are all very approachable and friendly and have good relationships with the residents and families.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, it's our pleasure.
Always feel welcome, the home is always clean and tidy. My friend is very happy and settled. He's always tidy, well fed and looked after. Any problems I find them really easy to talk to. The manager is very helpful.
Thank you for your lovely review, it's a pleasure.
I can’t express enough how my mother is made to feel a part of the family rather than a resident at this home. I always attend unannounced and have heard her laughing and chatting in her room with the staff. They are very respectful and always take the time to check she is happy. They have always communicated with the utmost discretion with me if they have had concerns about my mother’s wellbeing. Special mention has to be made about the meals served. I’ve been told they are always tasty and my mum is often offered seconds which is proof of how good they are. I can’t fault the staff there at all as they do genuinely care and are always approachable. Would love to name some individuals but they are all lovely genuine friendly people and very welcoming to visitors. The Christmas party was brilliant too.
