Since my mum moved into this care home, I have been extremely happy with the care she is receiving. The improvement compared to her previous care home is noticeable already. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and they have taken the time to get to know my mum and her needs.
She appears
much more settled and comfortable, which is a huge relief for our family. It is reassuring to know that she is being looked after so well in a safe and supportive environment. I finally feel confident that my mum is receiving the level of care she deserves. Thank you to all the staff for the compassion and dedication you show every day

My brother was in Lilleybrook for 1 month Nov/Dec. He was looked after by wonderful staff.
His room was warm and very clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone there. I would highly recommend the care home. High standards.

My mum - Heather, moved into residential care at the beginning of July 2025.
She has settled well into the home and the care has been faultless since.
When I visit, all the staff are friendly and take time to say hello etc.
Mum appears to be being well looked after and appears happy etc.
She sits
happily in the communal area when I visit.
Her room is always clean and tidy, cloths washed and looked after.
The maintenance team put up pictures and display frames - they completed a good job abc made mums room more homely.
Reply from Oquin Dundas, Administrator at Lilleybrook Care HomeThank you, Michael, for your great feedback. We are delighted that Heather has settled so well and that you are happy with the care, environment, and support provided.

Living in New Zealand it is hard when a parent has to go into care in UK. Before during and after my visit to spend time with my mother I can only say all the staff have been amazing, with a special mention to the events team who have done everything to help keep me in touch and went above and beyond
for mums 80th birthday. I feel fully informed of my mother's situation and am confident of the care she receives. While the furniture and decor could do with updating the home is clean and safe, which is the key. Would be a 5 star review if the social page had been maintained. This was a fantastic medium for communicating with family what our loved ones were up to and I would love to see it reinstated if possible
Reply from Oquin Dundas, Administrator at Lilleybrook Care HomeThank you for your lovely review. We are pleased you felt supported and kept well informed, and your comments will be shared with the team. Regarding the social page, this was taken down temporarily for review and we look forward to having it back up in the new year.

Staff at the Grange are very caring towards my husband (who has dementia) and to myself when I visit. There is always a happy atmosphere in the lounge area and staff engage the residents in a variety of activities, such as bingo, games, singing and crafts. The residents are well cared for, they are
always clean and well dressed. My husband is diabetic and his dietary needs are well catered for. His room is always clean and tidy. It is very reassuring to know that he is safe and being well looked after and that the staff will contact me if they have any concerns about him.

My dad was at this care home for 1& months on an end of life pathway. During his time at the home, I observed issues e.g., lack of personal attention, poor communication from staff, delays in responding to his needs, hygiene concerns, or inadequate medical care. This home has recently had a CQC inspection
and although deemed good I still want others to know of the matters that caused both my dad and our family unnecessary stress and worry. What made this particularly upsetting was loss of trust in the care provided. Despite raising concerns with staff, we felt that issues were not taken seriously, communication was poor, or promises were not followed through. I cannot recommend this place to anyone who wants their loved one to be treated with respect, compassion, and quality of care they deserve.
Reply from Philip, Director at Evergreen ManorWe are sorry that you feel disappointed with aspects of your father's care. End-of-life support is one of the most sensitive responsibilities we hold, and our team works hard to provide dignity, compassion, and professionalism to every resident and their family. It is important to state that the concerns you raised were reviewed by the Care Quality Commission, the Local Authority, and other relevant bodies. None of these agencies found evidence to support the allegations made. Our most recent CQC inspection rated the service as Good, which is an independent confirmation of the quality of care we provide. While we always reflect on feedback to identify opportunities to learn, we cannot agree with the suggestion that the care delivered was lacking in respect or compassion. We remain confident in the professionalism of our staff and in the standards of care provided at our home.

Myself and my husband returned from holiday on 29th June 2025 to find an ambulance outside the carehome . Not thinking it could be anything to do with my mum . On entering the final door on mums floor we noticed a lot going on and a carer rushing around. when she saw us I could see panic in her eyes
she turned back around and headed back towards my mums room. we went through with her into my mums room after Sam the nurse said let them in , we went in and my mum was not in a good way. a paramedic was there with the nurse and a carer . they were amazing keeping us calm and doing what they had to do. they rang and a 1st response came, the nurse was going over and above doing her job with what she had to do as well as looking after us . then another ambulance came , did what they had to do and took her to hospital where they looked after her x but I can not say how impressed I was with the nurse and the carer they were amazing and so professional . we could not ask for better care for my mum
Reply from Oquin Dundas, Administrator at Lilleybrook Care HomeThank you for your review. We're glad the team could respond quickly and support your mum during a stressful situation. Your feedback about the staff's professionalism and kindness is really appreciated.

Having a relative in a nursing home is the last thing anyone wants to happen but the staff at the Grange have eased our discomfort. The atmosphere is very kind and light hearted. Staff are very good and put up with a lot from residents. Clothes are cleaned and put away. I need help with toilet facilities and I get good help from the carers. Nice place to live and good community. Activities are really good and we do all different things. Good morale. The food is very good and
we get a variation on choices. My room has been decorated to my choice. We have a nice garden and sometimes have a party or BBQs. My family has always been made welcome. There is always something to do, I enjoy the dominoes and bingo. If I ever have any problems or worries I can approach staff and they will make it better for me. When there's sports on we all get together to watch. I like film night with popcorn.

My Dad has been here for about 4 months now. I am very happy that he is looked after here. Most of the staff are really friendly, helpful and patient. Especially the carers and the front desk. My Dad is not the easiest of persons, stubborn, moody, comes across rude sometimes. They all try their best
with him, even though he has selective hearing too. I hope he learns to be more at peace and grateful in his last year.... Or 10!.

The staff have provided excellent care for my mother and genuinely seem to care about her and the other residents. but overall I am happy for my mum to be there.

My father moved into the home for respite initially and this has now become his new home.
His dementia ment the move was quite difficult for him but the care and support of the management and carers helped dad and us through this transition period
Dad is now settled on Victoria where all residents
appear happy.
The entertainment ladies do a fantastic job considering the area they have to cover.
Care staff are hard working but at times seem over stretched.
If I had to be negative about anything it would be that the diet for diabetics maybe needs to be monitored a bit more closely.
