The home currently plans and administers care to the most vulnerable of adults with a varied range of abilities and dependence. There is a qualified nurse on duty 24 hours a day and a great team of senior and care staff that are dedicated to meeting the needs of your loved one.
There is a small garden area that looks directly onto the promenade and shore and is wheelchair accessible. This is particularly enjoyable in the summer during maritime events and various charity events that pass the home along the Mersey.

The only problem is that her t.v is on the blink, as this is her only entertainment it's making her unhappy. We have asked the home to please fix the tv, to no avail. The home has a resident handyman and I believe the problem has been brought to his attention, however, no joy as tv is still going on and off all the time.

My sister settled into Redcaps after moving from another home. We are all so pleased she is now somewhere we believe she will be cared for with compassion, and believe she is now in her final home. We go for walks each Sunday, and since she has been at Mother Redcaps, we phone from outside and are able to speak to her and she is kindly brought to the widow so we can also see her when talking. We were given the home email address and have received emails regarding everything in the home. It is fascinating how much time and effort Mother Redcaps puts into making life so "norma;" for the residents.

This was an indication of the high standard of personal care that she has continued to receive. The staff have gone out of their way to keep her happy and well looked after. An atmosphere of friendliness and efficiency pervades at Mother Redcaps. The staff have also been alert in assessing my sister's medical needs. They have acted quickly and referred her to doctors or hospital for medical advice. The nurse in charge has always been opened and detailed in reporting to me any information whether negative or positive. As I live 200 miles away, I have very much appreciated this feedback when I have phoned. Credit must be given to the staff of Mother Redcaps for their high standard of care and professionalism.

Induka is our care home manager, with many years of experience. Induka holds a manager’s surgery on alternate Wednesdays, please book in for this if you would like to meet with her.
Sasha holds two different roles! As well as being our deputy manager, she also works two shifts a week as one of our kind and caring nurses. After a busy day at work, she loves to spend time with her son.
Debby is based in the foyer to give you a warm welcome to Mother Redcaps! Outside of work, she enjoys attending lively Sunday services at her church in Liverpool.
