My mum has been a resident here for 2 years and I can honestly say it's been the best thing we did for her choosing Nazareth House. They are so kind, considerate and caring and always keep the family up to date with any changes in Mum's health care. Their entertainment staff do an amazing job keeping
the residents entertained and busy with so much going on every month. They issue monthly newsletters with everything that is coming up and family/friends are always welcome to join in any of the many things happening at Nazareth House. I am a big advocate for this care home and tell anyone who asks about Mum how good it is here. They have their own chapel on site, which Mum attends daily, this was a big part of Mum's life before she became unable to attend her local church so this is wonderful for Mum.
Cannot thank the staff enough for all they do for Mum, which gives us as a family peace of mind, she is safe and being well looked after at all times.

I attended a summer fare this weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. The residents and visitors really enjoyed it. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. Compliments to the chef who laid on some lovely food and even gave me some to take home for my tea.
I am not quite ready for a care home yet but if that time does come I choose this one.

My nan has been a resident of Nazareth House for more than two years. From the moment we walked in we felt very welcome. The care for my nan has been over our expectations. The carers make sure she is always comfortable and clean (as she is bedbound) They take time out to sit and talk and make sure
she's happy, they've more than exceeded our expectations in adapting to her needs. I as a visitor always feel welcome and they keep me informed of her well-being. So glad we chose this home.

My friend was treated with kindness and respect for the three months he was a resident in Nazareth House Care Home. He was able to attend daily mass which was very important for his religious beliefs. He was encouraged to make his own choice and decisions in all aspects of his care and daily routine.
It gave him great comfort knowing he was safe and well cared for. He ended his life peacefully and with dignity. Thank you to Sister, Chaplin, Manager and all the staff for their devotion and hard work.

We attended a family pre-Christmas lunch at the home.
The ambience was excellent as was the quality of the food and drinks. The staff were very attentive and a good time was had by all. We would certainly attend any future planned function.

Incompetent management, in my opinion.
Misplace items in the office safe.
Fail to follow company policy and procedure when raising complaints.
A high number of agency staff which is unsettling for residents.
The manager seems to lack any kind of empathy and makes ethically questionable decisions
to suit her own agenda and does not inform next of kin.
In fact, it is near impossible to contact her on the phone as she does not respond to messages to call back.
Do not recommend it.
Please, if you have a loved one here, check in on them often.

My mother was only in Nazareth House for five days before she passed away, but whilst she was there she was treated with the greatest dignity and respect and all her needs, temporal and spiritual, were provided for her, enabling her to pass away in peace. I was deeply moved by the compassionate caring
of all of the staff and can't recommend their services highly enough.
(If I ever become incapable of caring for myself I now know where I would like to spend my final days!)

The care and compassion shown by every member of the team at Nazareth House have been a joy to witness to our dear one and to every other resident observed.
Nothing was too much trouble; the staff were on hand and so willing to provide help and support at any hour.
Respect and dignity were evident
from pre-admission to the day of death, with the added gift of spiritual support throughout. God bless all of you for the amazing work you do.

Today we had a Christmas lunch with residents and their families. It was a lovely afternoon from start to finish. The food was delicious better than some restaurants we have visited. The room was decorated lovely and the staff couldn't have done anything more.

We are very grateful for the care our 97 year old mother received recently at Nazareth House. Unfortunately her health continued to deteriorate very quickly during her brief admission. The staff ensured they spoke to my mother and the family about her wishes for her care. She was able to move from a
residential bed to a nursing bed on the unit promptly as her health needs increased. They arranged an urgent review with the GP practice so her medical needs could be assessed. She received end of life care on the unit with her family able to visit freely and stay with her as much as possible. All the staff showed great kindness and compassion to my mother and to us as a family.

My Grandad was a resident at Nazareth House for a short time, from December 2021 - January 2022, we were blown away by the love and care he received in his short time here. Grandad, unfortunately, passed away peacefully here after 3 weeks of exceptional care. Grandad had been at home until the age of
94 before being admitted to the hospital where we realised he would need full-time care. As a family it was something we didn't really know much about, we were offered Nazareth House and before we had made a final decision we rang to see if we could possibly visit the home.


The manager was so accommodating, she showed us around and was very informative and welcoming. Grandad went to the home from the hospital on palliative care. The home was spotless and the nursing unit he was placed onto was fantastic. The staff we couldn't thank enough, they couldn't have done more for Grandad and us as a family, supporting us in his final days. Couldn't recommend Nazareth House enough.

We will forever be grateful to Nazareth House for providing my Grandad with the highest standard of care during his time there. Not only did they go above and beyond to ensure he was treated with dignity and respect but they were a huge support to our family. They couldn't do enough to accommodate us

Our dad has been a resident at Nazareth House for almost 12 months now. The home has been undergoing refurbishment for the time he has been there, which looks like it's nearing completion.
We couldn't initially get in to visit due to national restrictions but the staff enabled us to have window visits,
phone and video calls.
Once we got in we could see the standard of care he was receiving was excellent. His room is lovely. The multi photo frames that we had provided were on the walls.
All of the staff have been so lovely and friendly from the beginning. They all know our dad and he knows them! They also know us and will usually give us a wave when we visit!
The management has changed in the last 6 months and the new manager is very professional. She is really approachable and friendly and has made positive changes in a short space of time. The home feels calmer and controlled in her care.

My Mum was living in Nazareth House and we cannot praise the staff and sisters more. Mum was very happy here, her home. We would extremely recommend Nazareth House for their care, love and spiritual care. Nazareth House is a happy place and very special.

I have been visiting my friend regularly since he was admitted to Nazareth House. I have been impressed by the level of care which he has received, the friendliness of the staff and the standard of the facilities. I have had personal experience of nursing homes and also visited them in a professional

My father was 93 years old when he entered Nazareth House to be cared for. He entered in May 2018 until February 2019. This was my father's worst nightmare because he was fiercely independent and liked his own space. However, within a very short time, he quickly adapted to his new home because that’s
what it was, a new home for him.
He thoroughly enjoyed meeting the staff who were to care for him and enjoyed himself tremendously. The care given by all the staff could not be faulted and this is what makes Nazareth House such a special place. The staff were courteous, polite and thorough with my father's care and they were the same with us when we visited him. My father enjoyed his stay here and it gave him a new lease of life. We can only praise this home for its care of my father and I would gladly recommend to anybody in the same situation.

My cousin has been fortunate to have been in this care home since April 2017. We visit him frequently and always found him to be happy and comfortable with no complaints.
For the first time in his life, he has had someone who cares enough to make sure that he takes his medication every day. He has
carers who really do care for his personal cleanliness and attire.
I have visited quite a lot of care homes and this is the only one which does not smell of urine and that speaks volumes for all the staff. It's a lovely care home.
