My mother was also a resident for many years.

My mother was an end of life resident and only in Nazareth House for 9 days. However, the staff treated her and all the family as if we were their own family. They could not do enough for us and always treated mum with dignity and respect. The family were included in all aspects of care.

My uncle has resided here since last April. We have been very pleased with the care he has received. The staff are caring, supportive and are always ready to answer any questions and deal with any problems. Both my uncle and his wife (deceased) have been treated with respect at all times. I would recommend
Nazareth House wholeheartedly.

Our dad lived at Nazareth House - Prenton for the last 18 months of his life (R.I.P Jan 14th, 2018).


He received excellent care from the wonderful staff who took time to get to know him well. In the last days of his life, their compassion extended to our whole family as we kept vigil around his bed.


We are very grateful for the loving support of Nazareth House - Prenton staff.

Mum has been a resident of Nazareth House (NH) for nearly 4 years. During this time, she has been well looked after by caring, considerate staff (be they carers, cleaning/catering staff or management), who show great dignity and respect to all residents. Mum enjoys the food (all dietary requirements
are met), as well as a range of in-house services (hairdressing, chiropody). In addition, the entertainments staff arrange regular activities, from visiting singers/performers to games, exercise regimes - and parties.


Choosing a care home is not just about appearances - it's about how well your loved one is looked after, that they are cared for in a respectful, clean and safe environment by staff who are dedicated to the well-being of residents.

We rang the bell, didn't have to wait long for door to be opened. Noticed coffee and very pretty cups and saucers for visitors to have a drink - fresh coffee made for us - a very nice touch. Flowers (fresh) on tables, and a budgie in the lounge upstairs. Staff as always very helpful and treating residents
kindly. We took 2 residents out into the garden in wheelchairs to enjoy the sun. We spoke to the new manager on our way out to say how much these new touches improved the house, small beginnings but more to follow I think.

I like being in the home, they have plenty of entertainment. The girls are lovely, I am very happy here. We have plenty of friends. We have a party for our birthday, and we have a drink of sherry when we have a party.

I think the home is very good. Food is excellent. My room is very comfortable and clean. The entertainment is very good. We have a lot of parties and celebrations. We have a cake and celebrate our birthdays.

My grandmother is 98 years old and is new to the care home. She was very warmly welcomed by all the staff on her arrival. Many remembered her from two previous respite visits. All staff have gone out of their way to learn her likes and dislikes, and to ensure that she is as comfortable as possible.
Although she prefers to stay in her room, she is always invited to join in with the various activities on offer. She has enjoyed all the 'sing-a-longs', especially celebrating the queens 90th birthday. Also, she loves the regular hand massages.

Mother has lived here for a few years and has been very content. Though mentally impaired she seems happy in herself and certainly eats well. The carers seem fond of her and do a lot for her treating her with love and great dignity.
