My mum spent ten months at Chapel Fields Care Home and received the most excellent care during her time there. As a family, we were distraught when we had to finally admit her - we could no longer cope with her condition (vascular dementia). The staff were without exception so caring and helpful throughout
Mum's stay. The food was excellent and her room was comfortable. Sadly, Mum passed away in February and the staff supported us so well during those last few days - we could not have coped without them. They are all angels.

My father became a resident in March 2022. It was an extremely difficult decision but one which now we know was the right one. The staff are extremely professional and very caring, and we are happy that all of his needs are being catered for. On a recent visit, he told us that he wouldn't want to be
anywhere else now as he feels safe and secure! Recently he has experienced more health issues, but we are kept informed of these at all times. The kindness and support shown to us by the staff is excellent. Thank you so much.

I have only known the home during Covid so hard to make a fully informed assessment. All I can say is staff seem considerate and caring and my mum generally seems content. In terms of the quality of care, difficult to be definitive but the home appears to do its best. Overall, I am happy with the care

It was a hard decision to make when I had to put my Aunt in a home, but having seen how much better she is now, after only a couple of months, it could not have been better. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. Very professional and communication is excellent. Requests, nothing has been too much
for them. My Aunt is very happy and settled. I no longer need to worry about her, knowing she is being well looked after.

This has been an exceptionally difficult year for residents, their families and care staff. Throughout it, all the staff have been cheerful, empathetic and caring despite the agonies and fear they must have been feeling.
losing my father during lockdown was a particularly difficult moment as I could
not be with my mother or have her attend the funeral again the staff stepped up to the mark doing what clearly comes naturally to them. Thank you.

My Mum hasn't been at Chapel Fields that long. Within a week of arriving, I noticed such a difference in her mood. She seems much happier than when she was home with a live-in carer. During the extended time, my mother has lived at Chapel Fields I have been treated with friendliness and compassion. There have been hiccups, not of the group origin and they have been dealt with entirely to my satisfaction. The last few weeks have been extremely difficult, but the staff have managed

Mum entered Chapel Fields Care Home in Frodsham in October 2020. Mum has dementia and has also been bereaved this year. We lost my dad to cancer in July 2020. They had been married for over 66 years. Naturally, our anxiety for mum to be settled was very high. We need not have worried. The care is absolutely
wonderful. Mum took days to settle and we couldn't be happier. Covid-19 has obviously meant that we are unable to go inside the care home to see her. However, the management have pulled out all the stops to help us to communicate with Mum. We do a window visit. We outside, Mum inside, using a phone. She is so much calmer and less anxious than she has been for months. Of course, she misses us and dad, but we are consoled with the fact that Mum is cared for and safe.
