Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words; your mum was very much loved by us all.
Thank you for your kind words.. Mum was so loved and became a big part of our family. It was a privilege to get to care for her and we can only wish we had known her before her time at Loxley. You are always welcome and we are still here for you though mum has passed. Our door is always open for a cup of tea and a necessary cuddle.
Hello, I am so sorry for your experience. I can only try to reassure you that your nan does get out of bed and loves joining in with the activities. Nan has been assessed to be unsafe sat in a chair unsupervised in the lounge, which limits the time we can assist her to the lounge, to maintain her safety, we have discussed this with NOK, but are aware this may not have been shared with you. I have seen who was on shift that day and have received statements from all staff, assuring me they were chatting to nan while assisting her, but you might not have heard this due to being asked to step out whilst they helped nan with personal care to help maintain nans dignity (which is part of our policy). Nan has fluctuating capacity due her diagnosis, but I can assure you her voice gets heard and we all do everything we can to help nan live a fulfilling life here at Loxley Hall. Nan's skin is perfect and has no signs of tissue breakdown. We would be happy to discuss any concerns you have.
My only regret is that she hadn't gone there earlier, as the stimulation and activities provided would have enhanced her life enormously. Thank you so much Loxley Hall, I cannot praise you highly enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words it was a pleasure to look after such a lovely lady.

My name is Stacey Roulston and I am currently the Deputy Manager here at Loxley Hall.
I have worked at Loxley Hall for almost 7 years, I started on the bank as a care assistant and I fell in love straight away and soon joined the team full time and haven’t looked back since.
Through the years I have progressed from care assistant to senior carer and worked my way up to a Care Home Advanced Practitioner, Then to deputy manager during COVID. I successfully became the registered manager in 2022. I am currently working towards my NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management.
I am so proud to be part of the Loxley team as they are the most amazing people, filled with love, care and compassion. We have a saying that ‘Our residents do not live in our workplace, we work in their homes.’
Every day in Loxley Hall is different, we have been through some tough times in the last two years, but these have been overshadowed by the many, many happy times.
Our residents are always foremost in our minds and their welfare is our number one priority.
I have been part of the Loxley team since 2015. I was lucky enough to complete part of my student training here and just knew this was the team for me; filled with compassion, care, fun and laughs even through the tougher times. After my student placement, I continued to work with the team in various roles as a carer, domestic, and occasional cook whilst completing my nurse training.
I worked at Halton Haven Hospice after qualifying, providing me with great knowledge and understanding of palliative care and emergencies, but it wasn’t long before I returned to Loxley Hall.
Through the COVID pandemic, I returned to Loxley Hall and stepped back into the family we have built here. Although things were very difficult for residents, families and staff we worked tirelessly to provide the best level of care to all service users. I have now progressed to the role of clinical lead nurse and am so proud to be a part of such a caring and exemplary team. They have built a welcoming and heart-felt atmosphere that I have not seen elsewhere. This is a team that I am very proud to be a part of.
My name is Lynne Williams and I am the administrator here at Loxley Hall.
I started my career in admin in 2001 after returning to the UK from a 14-year stay in Los Angeles. I returned to college and learnt all there was to know about using the computer. I went on to complete my NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.
Prior to coming to Loxley Hall, I was a PA at a High School on the Wirral where I worked for 10 years and took early retirement in 2016.
I arrived at Loxley Hall in August 2018 after a turbulent year and found my haven. The interaction with residents and family members gave me a new lease on life and I felt as if I had arrived home, the warmth I felt when I first walked through the doors still surrounds me today.
I thrive on the day-to-day challenges that come my way.
I began working in Loxley Hall in 1997 after a friend got me an after-school job as a kitchen assistant. I progressed through ‘A’ Levels and college learning to illustrate children’s books but also maintaining my job in the care home for another 6 years.
It was at this time I was introduced to the possibility of being the activity coordinator as a joint role in two care homes. I was reluctant at first to take the job as I really enjoyed the kitchen assistant role but after some persuasion, I tried the job and found it the perfect role for me working alongside our elderly.
Since starting this role, I have managed to be one of the first Activity Coordinators in the UK to test and trial some of the only activity coordinator qualifications to date. I completed the NCFE Level 2 Activity provision in a care setting, NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Activity Provision in Social Care and Level 2 developing leadership skills. This then has led me to become the very first NAPA registered professional activity coordinator.
I first came to Loxley Hall nearly 20 years ago as an agency nurse. I was so impressed with the home I joined the team and have been here ever since. In that time, I have been the Home Manager for a while and the clinical lead nurse for many years.
I have always been very proud of the care at Loxley Hall and can honestly say that the residents here are not just cared for, they are loved.
