There is a good, calm atmosphere in the home It is peaceful and the residents are content and not oppressed in any way.
This is down to, I believe, hands-on leadership and teamwork.
It is to be hoped your other homes operate to a similar standard.

The management and staff were brilliant the care and communication from manager to the kitchen was great nothing was to much trouble and the empathy and care were superb. The manager knew the answers to all our queries and texted immediately to all our request and dad loved it thanks Overdene team.

During my mothers-in-law's stay, I was most impressed by witnessing staff interaction with the residents as they showed great compassion, patience and care to all. The food was of a good standard with personal preferences catered for. Entertainment and interests were a great source of pleasure. It
was of great comfort to us, her family, to know she was safe and cared for.

My mother has been at your care home for nine months. She moved there from another care home as her health was deteriorating and it was decided she required nursing care.
From day one all the staff made her and the family feel welcome and at ease in the surroundings.
She has received exceptional care
all the time she has resided at this home.
Unfortunately, her condition has worsened and she is now bed bound but the carers, nurses and all other staff upstairs have continued to wash, feed, nurse and to see to her every need.
I cannot thank everyone enough for all the care and support they have given my mother and all the family during these difficult times.

The staff were great they could not do enough to help you. The place was always clean, there was always a nurse there or somebody to answer your questions. I would recommend it to anybody.

High standard of care given to my mother. She has her favourites but all the staff are hard working. They all work like a team, which is a credit to them all. Mum often tells me how highly she thinks of them all. In her words, "my girls". Thanks for her excellent care.

My wife was a resident at the care home for 22 yrs on arriving she was in a very poor condition. Over the years with dedication and care the staff, past and present, she was nursed to a standard where she was able to lead a comfortable lifestyle. Considering her disability with the onset of problems
in later years the staff gave her a great quality of care to the end.

My brother seems to be settled and happy at Overdene House Care Home. He doesn't appear to have any complaints or worries except for the fact that sometimes he needs more assistance with dressing and shaving in the morning. Most time this happens but there are times when things lapse a bit.
The home
has improved in lots of ways. It looks bright and cheerful and the staff are always helpful and kind.

Very high standard of care given by all the staff at Overdene. All staff at the care home have been excellent towards my mother. She has her favourites but they are "all her girls" which I find nice. Management have come up with good ideas for training their own staff to dispense medicines out, they
will know their own residents' needs.
Overall standard of Overdene House, in my opinion, is excellent. Keep up the good work.

My father was resident at Overdene from May 2017 until January 2018, when he sadly passed away.
All the staff from the home manager (who has implemented many changes and innovative ideas), to the trained nurses, wonderful carers, entertainment ladies, cleaners, cooks and maintenance people are very
conscientious and truly caring. Nothing is too much trouble. One of the carers even went to work on remembrance day (when it was her day off) to take Dad in his wheelchair to watch the parade in Winsford.
We will always be grateful for the care dad received when he needed it most.

During my last couple of visits, I have been able to catch Overdene's group entertainment.
Yesterday a Christmas singalong which my dad sang along to on certain songs.
Today sitting with him, he has talked about his experience and how he enjoyed it.

The moment we entered the doors of Overdene house for the first time, we knew our worries were over. The house is bright, clean and had a wonderfully pleasant and peaceful atmosphere about it, and we knew immediately that our beloved son would be very happy here.
The whole ambience of Overdene is
fresh, light and airy, with friendly care staff going about their duties. The rooms are pleasant and quiet areas where one can relax and maybe have forty winks, should they feel the need to. All in all, we would say that anyone joining Overdene House is most certainly getting value for money.

I would like to give the care staff and new manager at Overdene a massive thank you. They got mum ready for her grandson's wedding and she looked gorgeous. My brother and I really appreciate what they do for mum. Nothing ever seems too much trouble.

Although Mum was only in Overdene for a short time the staff were always friendly and helpful and did all they could to help her settle in.
The home itself had a nice homely feel, it was light fresh and comfortable and the catering staff provided lovely meals.
When Mum needed medical help they
were quick to respond and very compassionate at the end.
As a family, we visited lots of care homes looking for the right place for Mum and found Overdene the best for what she needed.
Our thanks and appreciation go to all the staff.
