It's taken about a week for mum to really feel at home and settle into a new regime and the round the clock care. We chose a single room and have been impressed with the amount of space that is available for all of her personal belongings, including her dining table which fitted beautifully at the side of the kitchenette which we didn't see anywhere else and Mum can still make her own cup of tea when she wants to. The staff are all very kind and happy. Mum couldn't be in better hands.

We have found Sunrise of Mobberley to be an excellent respite facility each time we have used it for my parents, individually and together. The standard of care is excellent and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff is second to none.

Residents and visitors can enjoy refreshments in bistro/coffee shop on the ground floor. Visitors can join their family member for a meal in the restaurant - if previously booked (a small charge to pay). The food offered is of good quality and well presented.

Frequent activities and events are organised for the benefit and enjoyment of residents. Sunrise have their own minibus and offer all residents the opportunity to participate in outings to nearby locations - available twice weekly if space permits.

A small kitchen area, good size bathroom and a living area to furnish with their own possessions.

Overall, I am very happy with how my mother is cared for at Sunrise and would definitely recommend their location and care services.

Sunrise is a very caring supportive environment for my aunt who has advanced dementia. She is in the specialist dementia unit where the staff are highly skilled with dementia patients. My brother and I are highly satisfied with her care. The only issue we have is that the home is very expensive!

I have been impressed by the standard of care offered to my father by the staff in Reminiscence. They have been respectful, understanding and have managed his declining mental and physical health with warmth, professionalism and good humour.

I have felt involved in changes of treatment and have felt well supported during this difficult time. There have been a few administrative errors, which have been frustrating but have all been resolved satisfactorily. I have found the concierge staff particularly helpful and supportive.

Received a very warm welcome from the Director of Communications who is very helpful and very responsive. She was the "front of house", and did a very good job. The rooms are excellent and there is a wide choice of activities.

My husband died here in 2013 and I have stayed on as we sold our home and I need a certain amount of care myself.

If I had a problem I have a buzzer and I do cherish my independence.

Great place where my father has happily moved into. It feels more like a hotel than a retirement home. People are very caring. Food is lovely.

I felt completely at ease as soon as I walked into this beautiful home, the staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The suites are superb I struggled to find suitable accommodation for both my parents and this was as close as I could get. Excellent food, decor, care, activities and gardens, I cannot praise Sunrise Mobberly highly enough!

After considering various care homes, we decided on Sunrise of Mobberley for my elderly mother because it has a warm and friendly feel to it and is able to offer specialised professional care to residents with dementia. My mother has been resident at Sunrise for 6 months and is very happy there.

My residence here continued to be very pleasant since my arrival, with no complaints either relating to my room, and the carers also. About six weeks ago, I suffered a really serious angina attack and almost thought it was a small heart attack. Well, all the time (many hours), two carers stayed with me in direct contact with the medical nurse by telephone and during the ambulance visit. They were so patient and later the next day I was attended to by an excellent doctor.

For 'short stay respite care', Sunrise at Mobberley provided a good service, as indicated in my ratings.

6 and a half years experience living at Sunrise has been very satisfactory. Although initially active and independent, with the passage of time and ageing, we have come to appreciate the immediate help forthcoming on those occasions when the emergency blue alarm had been activated due to falls, faints, stroke etc.

Very busy care staff are always helpful and friendly when approached and they respect our independence and privacy. Catering here at Mobberley is always of a very high standard and much appreciated, as is overall cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the development. Senior management is very much visible and approachable.

I have lived here for two and a half years with respiratory problems and have to use oxygen and an inhaler. On the whole, I am very well cared for both medically and everyday caring.

I have been here for 2 and a half years. I have noticed that due to the home now being 95% nursing which was not the case when I first arrived. The caring staff, due to the type of nursing care needed, their moral is low and they do not have time to talk to you when you sometimes need it.
