other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My aunt had been a resident at Sunrise Mobberley for three years on the Reminiscence floor and died recently. She was a slightly contradictory personality, being both shy and assertive but the carers fully recognised her qualities and tailored their approach accordingly, while constantly looking for
ways to make her life more enjoyable and comfortable. During the weeks leading up to her death, their care was exemplary, allowing her to fade away in comfort, with dignity.

We looked at many nursing homes for mum before agreeing on Sunrise Senior Living in Mobberley and we are so pleased that we did.
It's taken about a week for mum to really feel at home and settle into a new regime and the round the clock care. We chose a single room and have been impressed with the
amount of space that is available for all of her personal belongings, including her dining table which fitted beautifully at the side of the kitchenette which we didn't see anywhere else and Mum can still make her own cup of tea when she wants to. The staff are all very kind and happy. Mum couldn't be in better hands.

Just been to visit my Granny at Sunrise of Mobberley and I have been blown away by how fantastic the home is. All of the staff and the manager who I met today were so friendly and incredibly welcoming. We sat in the Bistro enjoying a latte, singing along to the music - it was absolutely lovely to see
how quickly Granny has made new friends with other people who live there and how much happier she is now that she's not living on her own.
I would highly recommend Sunrise of Mobberley for its warmth, friendliness and caring service.

I visit my aunt every 2/3 months.
She is barely able to move due to multiple sclerosis.
Staff tend to be kind, but last New Year's Day a care worker said, "Surely this visit is beyond the call of duty".
I found this comment very rude and inappropriate.
Response to my aunt's needs is often slow due
to low staff numbers.
There are never enough hoists and on several occasions, it has been midnight before she is able to rest in her bed.
I think this is a priority.
Considering the lavish surroundings I conclude you have your priorities wrong.

Public areas warm & inviting; tastefully decorated & thoughtfully furnished - residents can take a break whilst walking in common parts. Sofas positioned in all corridors; paintings to admire; fruit juice/water available on tables.
Residents and visitors can enjoy refreshments in bistro/coffee shop
on the ground floor. Visitors can join their family member for a meal in the restaurant - if previously booked (a small charge to pay). The food offered is of good quality and well presented.


Frequent activities and events are organised for the benefit and enjoyment of residents. Sunrise have their own minibus and offer all residents the opportunity to participate in outings to nearby locations - available twice weekly if space permits.


Residents' rooms - suites as they are known, can vary in size but the layout of all suites offer residents fairly spacious accommodation;
A small kitchen area, good size bathroom and a living area to furnish with their own possessions.

Sunrise provides a very safe environment for elderly people with dementia. The setting (building & surroundings) are excellent as are the rooms. There are some great staff at Sunrise, and all the staff treat the residents with respect and the majority (not all) make a real effort to engage with the
residents, creating a home-from-home atmosphere, and there are plenty of arranged, fun, activities for the residents to participate in. A few improvements would be that the dementia ward was on the ground floor with easy, secure access outside for the residents and wish there were more frequent trips outside.
The staff are always busy, agency staff are used in part, and it feels sometimes as if they operate on the margin of being understaffed.
Overall, I am very happy with how my mother is cared for at Sunrise and would definitely recommend their location and care services.

Sunrise is a very caring supportive environment for my aunt who has advanced dementia. She is in the specialist dementia unit where the staff are highly skilled with dementia patients. My brother and I are highly satisfied with her care. The only issue we have is that the home is very expensive!

I have been impressed by the standard of care offered to my father by the staff in Reminiscence. They have been respectful, understanding and have managed his declining mental and physical health with warmth, professionalism and good humour.


I have felt involved in changes of treatment and have

felt well supported during this difficult time. There have been a few administrative errors, which have been frustrating but have all been resolved satisfactorily. I have found the concierge staff particularly helpful and supportive.

Overall care and attention is good. Being a person more able than a lot of the residents I do object to staff entering my room at all hours enquiring 'are you alright'.

I felt completely at ease as soon as I walked into this beautiful home, the staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The suites are superb I struggled to find suitable accommodation for both my parents and this was as close as I could get. Excellent food, decor,

My residence here continued to be very pleasant since my arrival, with no complaints either relating to my room, and the carers also. About six weeks ago, I suffered a really serious angina attack and almost thought it was a small heart attack. Well, all the time (many hours), two carers stayed with
me in direct contact with the medical nurse by telephone and during the ambulance visit. They were so patient and later the next day I was attended to by an excellent doctor.

6 and a half years experience living at Sunrise has been very satisfactory. Although initially active and independent, with the passage of time and ageing, we have come to appreciate the immediate help forthcoming on those occasions when the emergency blue alarm had been activated due to falls, faints,
stroke etc.


Very busy care staff are always helpful and friendly when approached and they respect our independence and privacy. Catering here at Mobberley is always of a very high standard and much appreciated, as is overall cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the development. Senior management is very much visible and approachable.

I have lived here for two and a half years with respiratory problems and have to use oxygen and an inhaler. On the whole, I am very well cared for both medically and everyday caring.

Daniel Cole

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve worked in the care sector all my career, beginning at the tender age of 15 when I did work experience in a residential home.


I then became a care assistant and worked my way up. The rest is history!


Before Cranford Grange, I had the pleasure of being Home Manager at Oakfield Croft, where I shaped everything from the team to the home’s values and standards of care with the fantastic team there. I am looking forward to what I can bring to Cranford Grange and to continuing to fulfil our residents' lives.


We’re focused on delivering the highest care standards in stunning surroundings at our care home in Mobberley. I look forward to seeing you at Cranford Grange soon!
