On our first visit, we found the staff very welcoming and friendly.
Rooms are clean and have all the residents' need.

We stayed for lunch, with relatives, which was excellent.

My husband and I visited some friends on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th August 2018. We were told by our friend on the Thursday, that though the carers are kind and efficient, sometimes messages get forgotten. Her main concern was that the transport system was so unreliable. Some excursions had been cancelled.
Sure enough, on the Friday my friend had been asked to be ready at the door for 9am for transport to the health centre. It did not arrive until 9:45am. She had only just returned when we arrived at 10.30am.

Maybe it was unusual but the disabled toilet I was directed to in the hall had a faeces stained floor and dirty pan but hopefully, it was cleaned quickly. I did report it.

My Mother had a recent respite stay at Sunrise Mobberley which was a resounding success. Her room was clean and welcoming. The staff greeted her by name and did their best to make her feel welcome even though she was not a permanent resident. Being an older person my Mother is not as tolerant as she could be but even she found very little to complain about although you cannot please everyone all of the time and it is still a care Home. The activities were varied and interesting and although my Mother didn’t take part in many as she is not a “joiner” she enjoyed reading the calendar. She particularly enjoyed her walks in the lovely gardens.

My 97 year old friend urgently needed respite care due to deteriorating health that made her no longer safe to live in her own home and I approached Sunrise out of desperation. They were very helpful and moved as quickly as they could to accommodate my friend's needs. Sunrise took all the last minute changes in their stride and remained flexible, professional and friendly although I am sure we tested their patience to the limit.

Despite my friend not wanting to be a resident and desperate to return home, her care has been extremely dignified and respectful and her room, facilities, food, and activities have been fantastic and, despite herself, she has enjoyed her time in their care although she'd never admit it!

She is now well enough to return home after a months respite care at Sunrise and I can't thank them enough for everything they did for my friend.

The professional and friendly support provided to both father and family during the rehabilitation process has been excellent. Unfortunately our elderly father was rather ill in hospital and had to be transferred to have access to nursing care; this resulted in him being rather upset on discharge; however the way the staff quickly made friends with him and encouraging him to engage in various activities has ensured Dad is now more relaxed and enjoying his new surroundings.

My mother had a short respite care stay at Sunrise, Mobberley in June.

This is a lovely home and where the residents appear genuinely very happy and friendly.

The staff were extremely helpful and worked hard to involve my mother in the activities and provide her with the support she needed. The staff were always very respectful and were always available to answer any questions I had.

The home was maintained to a high standard and food provided was of an excellent quality.

I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

My mother has been at Sunrise for 2.5 years. It was a very difficult decision moving her into a care home and choosing the right one. As a family we are in no doubt we made the right decision choosing Sunrise.
Mum also called it home very soon after moving in, which was a good sign. The rooms and facilities are of a really good standard and we were able to decorate her room to her taste.

Whilst mums health has deteriorated quite considerably, Sunrise have been able to cater for all her changing needs. In the early years of being a resident she was kept stimulated with trips out, art and crafts and exercise classes along with other activities Now she is no longer mobile, struggling with her dementia and other health issues, the staff always ensure that she is gets involved wherever she is able to and her care plans and nursing needs adapted accordingly. The staff are all very professional and welcoming, the food is to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunrise.

It was a great comfort for all the family for my parents to become residents of Sunrise of Mobberley which they thoroughly enjoy. The whole process was coordinated with care and consideration by the staff who could not have been more helpful.

My parents are very settled and happy which is a great comfort. The family, including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, dogs and even cats are welcome visitors.

My husband was in Sunrise of Mobberley for 4 weeks. He had a lovely room with large windows. His own bathroom was kept very clean. He was in respite care to give me a rest, it was a very friendly place, staff couldn't do enough for patients and relatives could visit any time of the day and stay for meals with the person. I can't praise the care home and staff enough, it certainly gave me peace of mind to leave my husband in their care. Brilliant place.

My father who has dementia was admitted to Sunrise of Mobberley. Very upsetting for my father and my sister and I. The management were very reassuring, kind and spent a lot of time with us all at this difficult time. While my father was in there, all the staff went above and beyond expectations to make my dad feel welcome and safe. I couldn't have wanted any better care for him. Also, they supported my mother who needed emotional support at this time.

My aunt had been a resident at Sunrise Mobberley for three years on the Reminiscence floor and died recently. She was a slightly contradictory personality, being both shy and assertive but the carers fully recognised her qualities and tailored their approach accordingly, while constantly looking for ways to make her life more enjoyable and comfortable. During the weeks leading up to her death, their care was exemplary, allowing her to fade away in comfort, with dignity.

We looked at many nursing homes for mum before agreeing on Sunrise Senior Living in Mobberley and we are so pleased that we did.

It's taken about a week for mum to really feel at home and settle into a new regime and the round the clock care. We chose a single room and have been impressed with the amount of space that is available for all of her personal belongings, including her dining table which fitted beautifully at the side of the kitchenette which we didn't see anywhere else and Mum can still make her own cup of tea when she wants to. The staff are all very kind and happy. Mum couldn't be in better hands.

Just been to visit my Granny at Sunrise of Mobberley and I have been blown away by how fantastic the home is. All of the staff and the manager who I met today were so friendly and incredibly welcoming. We sat in the Bistro enjoying a latte, singing along to the music - it was absolutely lovely to see how quickly Granny has made new friends with other people who live there and how much happier she is now that she's not living on her own.

I would highly recommend Sunrise of Mobberley for its warmth, friendliness and caring service.

I visit my aunt every 2/3 months.
She is barely able to move due to multiple sclerosis.
Staff tend to be kind, but last New Year's Day a care worker said, "Surely this visit is beyond the call of duty".
I found this comment very rude and inappropriate.
Response to my aunt's needs is often slow due to low staff numbers.
There are never enough hoists and on several occasions, it has been midnight before she is able to rest in her bed.
I think this is a priority.

Considering the lavish surroundings I conclude you have your priorities wrong.

Public areas warm & inviting; tastefully decorated & thoughtfully furnished - residents can take a break whilst walking in common parts. Sofas positioned in all corridors; paintings to admire; fruit juice/water available on tables.

Residents and visitors can enjoy refreshments in bistro/coffee shop on the ground floor. Visitors can join their family member for a meal in the restaurant - if previously booked (a small charge to pay). The food offered is of good quality and well presented.

Frequent activities and events are organised for the benefit and enjoyment of residents. Sunrise have their own minibus and offer all residents the opportunity to participate in outings to nearby locations - available twice weekly if space permits.

Residents' rooms - suites as they are known, can vary in size but the layout of all suites offer residents fairly spacious accommodation;

A small kitchen area, good size bathroom and a living area to furnish with their own possessions.
