My late mother received exceptional care at Sunrise Mobberley.
Everything possible was done to keep her spirits up in this strange COVID year.
The team went the extra mile when visits were restricted and truly became Mum’s extended family.

Sunrise of Mobberley has proved to be outstanding with the care of my grandmother, particularly in the unprecedented time of lockdown. All staff were very welcoming and always helpful and obliging to us as relatives. They were available at all times to answer our questions about Dad’s progress and well being. They were clearly and genuinely concerned about him as an individual and did everything to help him make progress in his respite
care.

I have always been impressed by all aspects of Sunrise of Mobberley, but since the Covid, I have been overwhelmed by the excellence of Sunrise of Mobberley. The care shown over the last year has been fantastic. The manager leads fantastic staff, helping residents and staff, and communicate brilliantly
with relatives, especially the need for total lockdown when they have been required. Learn with compassion could be a motto for Sunrise of Mobberley.

Both our parents moved to Sunrise, Mobberley from London some 2 years ago.
They were reasonably well at the time but needed a little more help. (Their beloved cat ‘Asbo’ joined them in the 2 bedroom suite!).
The help and assistance offered was dignified, and respectful in manner and the carers were
eager to learn about their lives and interests earlier in their lives.
In June 2020 our mother passed away aged 94, followed by my father in December 2020. They had been married since 1950.
The professional care and attention they received was nothing but excellent from all departments throughout the time spent there.
Equally, as a family, we have been supported throughout with kindness and understanding.
Without any hesitation, we would recommend this dedicated home from home for the elderly.
We will miss them and The Sunrise of Mobberley family.

I wish to thank all the wonderful staff at the Sunrise Home in Mobberley. I cannot express our gratitude enough. Through these times, they have cared for and supported my father with their continuing professionalism and with kindness and love. We have a weekly FaceTime with him which for the family
and my father has been wonderful. His spirit has been good which is completely down to the dedication of the teams there. It is a very happy, caring environment which, in these times, has made a difficult 2020 the best it could be for Dad.

The last six months have been difficult for everyone due to the Corona Virus. During this period we have all seen bad press associated with care homes, the lack of information, PPE and many other related issues. My experience with Sunrise of Mobberley has been nothing like this! Information/communication
has been first-rate throughout. All staff members know the current situation when we speak on the phone and whilst most places have kept their "doors locked" Sunrise put a safe system in place to allow family visits - again taking that extra step and making the effort to allow life to continue. Testing over the period has been carried out and no cases of the virus have been found thanks to the efforts of everyone at Sunrise. I'm only pleased my father-in-law is a resident and my wife and I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone involved for going that "extra mile".

The facilities are very good at Sunrise and there is a general feeling of a relaxed, supportive and comfortable place for residents to live. The staff are very caring, ensuring they look after everyone in a very friendly manner. Knowing the care and support people are given is very reassuring and comforting,
particularly given the current difficult circumstances. The additional support and communication through this time has been great.

I have been so impressed with the professional
and caring way the whole Sunrise team at Mobberley have handled the COVID-19 situation. I couldn’t have wished for better care for my Mum. They have been superb in maintaining the necessary hygiene and safety measures - the fact that all residents and
staff have been tested and are 100% clear speaks for itself.
This has obviously been a difficult situation for all, and the way they have
managed it has been first class. Excellent communication throughout to keep
families updated, and they have also enabled regular contact via FaceTime
calls, with wonderful support from their team. All the staff are
incredibly caring and also provide for the mental and emotional wellbeing of
the residents. It was a tough decision to move my Mum to a home, but I don’t
regret it for a minute now. She has been in the best possible environment
during this situation.

My parents went into Sunrise initially on a respite basis before moving down South but stayed 4 months during the lockdown. Sunrise did an amazing job keeping residents safe and well cared for during such challenging times. I was particularly impressed with the regular informative and reassuring communications
with family members and the desire to be flexible whilst maintaining rigorous infection controls. Thank you so much!

My parents have lived together at Sunrise Mobberley since last November. We chose this home partly because it has lovely couple suites, where Mum and Dad (married for 56 years) could be together with their little dog too (so wonderful to find a home that welcomes pets) and partly as it is so beautiful
(both the building itself and the green setting). The staff have been very kind and helpful at all stages, and we have been really impressed with how thoroughly they have dealt with the COVID-19 situation. I have found great peace of mind in knowing Mum and Dad are being well cared for. Sunrise is a truly lovely home, which I would recommend thoroughly to others.

Mum has been at Sunrise for over five years and we are extremely grateful to all the staff for the care, love and devotion that they demonstrate every day. I can't imagine the difficulties that Covid-19 has created but the dedication of all the staff to keep our loved ones secure and well has been immense.
I've
not seen my Mum for 12 weeks but the communication has been exemplary and throughout this health crisis we have been comforted knowing that Mum is in truly safe hands.
I have recommended Sunrise on 2 occasions to other families and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.

My mother, who needs full-time care, was offered a place at Sunrise at very short notice after my father died 9 months ago. I had visited a number of possible care homes but was immediately impressed by the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff when I came to see the place the first time. They
say you should go by instincts and follow first impressions and this was absolutely the case with Sunrise of Mobberley.
I live abroad so it is vital for me to be sure that the standard of care and facilities are as they claim to be and this has really been my experience. The staff are wonderful, exceedingly patient and genuinely caring for all their residents irrespective of their needs. The facilities are excellent and the food is marvellous - I have managed to experience this at first hand, trying to make my visits coincide with lunch!
To top it all now, Sunrise's handling of the Covid crisis has been beyond expectations and so praiseworthy with apparent full control of the situation.

Sunrise has looked after my very elderly Mum for several years, their care and compassion is wonderful at every level. She has been very poorly at times but no matter how busy they are the nurses have always kept in touch to let us know how she is. There is a lovely friendly and caring atmosphere and

Having visited several care homes, I was amazed at the standard of Sunrise of Mobberley from the second I walked in. It’s inviting, spacious, spotlessly clean, whilst retaining a homely and welcoming feel. The staff are all so dedicated to the residents treating them with kindness, dignity and respect.
They all feel like friends to the whole family and cannot do enough to help in any situation.
The rooms are bright, clean and fresh whilst being cosy. There are numerous quiet areas where the family can sit with residents during visits. The food is excellent and served in lovely dining areas or in the room should the residents wish. Outside of mealtimes, there is also 24-hour access to drinks and nibbles. Placing loved ones into care can be very distressing, the management and the care teams were so supportive throughout the process and gave the family complete confidence and reassurances. Both our parents are very happy and settled here. I have yet to find anything rating below excellent.

My mother is currently residing in Sunrise of Mobberley for an extended period of respite care following a minor stroke.
The personal and nursing care she is receiving is professional, caring and to a very high standard. She has enjoyed very good food, lots of interesting activities, particularly
over Christmas, and loved the hair-dos and manicures. Mum is considering returning to her own home in the near future - a real testament to the standard of care!
The building itself is in a beautiful location and very well appointed with en suite rooms and excellent public areas - there is a lovely warm feel to the place as you enter.
I am happy to recommend Sunrise of Mobberley, thank you to all the team.

My husband and I were made very welcome and well looked after.
The residents we met were friendly and the staff were lovely and extremely caring and helpful.

Our mother lived at Sunrise for around 18 months. She could not have had better care. The facilities are wonderful, the staff are warm and caring and Sunrise made sure her final days were pain-free, dignified and untroubled. We live abroad and when we phoned - daily towards the end, there was always
someone there to give us a briefing on her state. She loved being there - the facilities were first class - and the staff were more caring than I could have imagined. It could not be less like the sort of place many people have in mind when they talk of a "home". Sunrise was more than a home from home and we shall always remember the care and kindness of everyone there.

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve worked in the care sector all my career, beginning at the tender age of 15 when I did work experience in a residential home.


I then became a care assistant and worked my way up. The rest is history!


Before Cranford Grange, I had the pleasure of being Home Manager at Oakfield Croft, where I shaped everything from the team to the home’s values and standards of care with the fantastic team there. I am looking forward to what I can bring to Cranford Grange and to continuing to fulfil our residents' lives.


We’re focused on delivering the highest care standards in stunning surroundings at our care home in Mobberley. I look forward to seeing you at Cranford Grange soon!
