an agreed hourly charge for this service.

The staff are first-class and treat each resident as an individual. All staff know the residents' names and truly care.
My mum came in for respite and has enjoyed her time so much she has decided to stay.

I am so happy with the care Mum has received at Cranford Grange Care Home. She was just in for respite after discharge from hospital but I wouldn't hesitate to book her in in the future if needed. The staff have been excellent from the first day I made contact, to the viewing and information and the
actual respite stay. Although all Mum really wanted to do was come home, she did settle and we could not have found a better place for her care.
For anyone who is struggling with the idea of care for an elderly person, I would urge them to view this care home. It is exactly as it shows in the brochure. More posh hotel than care facility! There are also specialist nursing staff to help with people who require extra help with their day-to-day living.

Finding a suitable care home is not an easy task as there is so much to consider at a time when emotions are running high.
Mum moved into Cranford Grange Care Home in September 2022, she was disorientated and distressed. I am delighted to say she has settled in well and now seems calm and relaxed.
This is due in no small part to the staff who are caring and respectful, treating Mum with the dignity and warmth she deserves.

A lovely place within a calm and caring environment. Cranford Grange Care Home is currently home to both my parents. They have had periods of respite care over the past few years and so we had a good relationship with Cranford Grange before they became permanent residents. I get comfort from knowing that they receive excellent care living together in
lovely surroundings and are treated with dignity. This last point is very important to me as being a great age can provide practical challenges and a threat to dignity. So I am impressed and reassured by the caring and respectful way in which my parents are treated. They love the meals and Dad enjoys being in the bistro and seeing all the activity that goes on there. The family is kept informed of any issues that arise and included fully in creating and amending care plans. Having my parents at Cranford Grange has provided the peace of mind we desperately needed and we love visiting them there.

We couldn’t be happier with the care that my mother has received. She has been in Cranford Grange Care Home for some respite care after having a fall at home. Everyone is very patient and kind with her. She has gained some of her old confidence back and is able to walk without the use of her frame whilst

My Mum was in a care home in Scotland and in April I moved her to Cranford Grange to be close to me. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful with what could have been an incredibly stressful move and gave her a fabulous welcome after a long journey. Since then all the staff have been just fantastic.
Really kind, considerate and enthusiastic. I feel that they really understand Mum’s needs and personality and it’s so lovely to see their interaction with her. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the garden and is very close to the Salon for her nails and hair which she has enjoyed having done. It’s a real pleasure going to visit Mum at Cranford Grange and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of care home for her.

My mother is currently a resident at Cranford Grange Care Home and wanted me to share her experience and to reassure anyone thinking of moving into a care home, that it is the best decision she made, and despite being a little bit apprehensive, she thoroughly loves it. The care assistants and nurses
are exceptionally patient and caring. The restaurant waitresses make sure her meals and drinks are prepared to her specific requirements and the activities team are all experts in making sure everyone has a great day and are "living their best life". My mum has made new friends, she has put weight back on and, more importantly to me and my sister, she has her smile back. She's happy, well looked after and in control of her life.

When I arrived at 6:30 pm on 08.06.2022, Mum had no pants on, I do not know how long she had been left like that. I told two senior nursing staff at 6:40 pm but no one came to put her pants on by the time I left fifty minutes later. I am not sure how this ties up with your 'we aim to preserve your dignity'
statement.
Secondly, visitors are told that they have to wear masks. The staff also wear masks but not necessarily on their noses and over their mouths. Staff in a care setting should know better than this.

My mother is very happy at Cranford Grange. She is well looked after, her care needs are being met, and she has a bright airy room with a bathroom and a superb view. She enjoys a wide variety of activities. Her favourite activity seems to be fish and chip Friday followed by live entertainment! Care
Staff are all attentive and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. There is a nurse on hand and access to a doctor has been prompt when needed. She has had regular podiatry and physio appointments and the hairdresser is available when needed. The food is wonderful. I have been treated by my mother to a meal with other family members in the private dining room. We had a delicious 3-course meal for 6 in relaxed and convivial surroundings. The grounds are exceptional. The gardens provide seating areas that will come into their own in the summer and there is a wheelchair-friendly path. The environment created in the home is friendly and caring.

The lady for whom we had power of attorney for was initially placed in the care of what was then known as Sunrise of Mobberly whilst we, her carers, travelled to Australia. When we did return, we asked the person to which we had POA for and cared for if she wanted to return home. We had a resounding
no. During her stay she was first in the assisted living area which she enjoyed very much with plenty of entertainment and things to do, she even began to learn to speak French. Unfortunately, her condition began to deteriorate and she was moved to the reminiscence floor where we can honestly say she received the best care possible, not being left to lie in bed all day but was taken to the lounge area where the other residents were gathered. Again over a period of time, her condition deteriorated further which meant she had to be moved to the nursing area where again we can say her care was second to none.
Altogether she was in Sunrise, now known as Cranford Grange, for three and a half years.

The staff are caring, thoughtful and fun! My mum appreciated all three during the two and a half years she lived at Cranford Grange. As her needs changed so did the care. Seeing so many different smiling faces throughout the day gave my mum a mental lift and she enjoyed the company of many of the staff.
Access to management, nursing and caring staff is easy which means that you can always get an update on your loved one if you are unable to visit.

Both of my parents have been cared for by Cranford Grange Care Home (formerly Sunrise) for three years, within the specialist dementia neighbourhood. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their specialist care is outstanding, treating Mum and Dad as individuals but also as a couple. The environment
is purpose-built, so perfect for those not as able as others. The team are dedicated to providing superb levels of personal attention and genuinely care and, indeed, love their clients. Having to find care for my loved and adored parents was extremely stressful and heartbreaking and my heart goes out to anyone in this situation, but we struck gold first time with Cranford Grange and from initial enquiries, to then being part of the family for three years has been a complete comfort and reassurance. If you have an issue they will have almost certainly dealt with it before and have the expertise to help. Nothing is too much trouble. A fabulous team of dedicated, caring professionals. I wish you well.

My mother recently spent 4 weeks in respite care at Sunrise following a hip replacement. She was treated with kindness and respect throughout her stay. She is a very quiet and private lady and not one for mixing with others. Her wishes were taken care of at all times including all meals in her room
for which she/I was extremely grateful.
She went into Sunrise walking with a frame and came out walking with her stick which is where she was prior to her fall.
All the staff from admin, carers, nursing and cleaners were excellent and I can't thank you enough for looking after her albeit for a short time. If respite is needed in the future, we will return without a doubt.

My mother has been a resident for over 10-years, and the facilities and meals are outstanding.
Her care is outstanding, from nursing assistance after 2 cataract operations and other senior ailments. She enjoys her days at Sunrise and has survived the Corona pandemic through the care taken by the management.

Mum went into Sunrise Mobberley for 4 week respite period during April 21 following a hip replacement.
From my initial visit until the end of Mum's stay, I have been most impressed by Sunrise.
Most importantly, Mum settled straight away and found the staff to be very caring. The food is very good,
the bedroom is comfortable, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents busy. (Mum is now apparently very good at scrabble)!
Mum needed a lot of physio post-op, and so the link-up with PhysioFit was excellent.
We were lucky in that the Covid visiting rules became less stringent during Mum's stay, but it is clear that Sunrise has striven to help residents see their loved ones whilst keeping everyone safe and within the rules.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sunrise.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’ve worked in the care sector all my career, beginning at the tender age of 15 when I did work experience in a residential home.


I then became a care assistant and worked my way up. The rest is history!


Before Cranford Grange, I had the pleasure of being Home Manager at Oakfield Croft, where I shaped everything from the team to the home’s values and standards of care with the fantastic team there. I am looking forward to what I can bring to Cranford Grange and to continuing to fulfil our residents' lives.


We’re focused on delivering the highest care standards in stunning surroundings at our care home in Mobberley. I look forward to seeing you at Cranford Grange soon!
