and caring way the whole Sunrise team at Mobberley have handled the COVID-19 situation. I couldn’t have wished for better care for my Mum. They have been superb in maintaining the necessary hygiene and safety measures - the fact that all residents and staff have been tested and are 100% clear speaks for itself.
This has obviously been a difficult situation for all, and the way they have
managed it has been first class. Excellent communication throughout to keep
families updated, and they have also enabled regular contact via FaceTime
calls, with wonderful support from their team. All the staff are
incredibly caring and also provide for the mental and emotional wellbeing of
the residents. It was a tough decision to move my Mum to a home, but I don’t
regret it for a minute now. She has been in the best possible environment
during this situation.
We are thrilled with your positive experience and are so glad your mother has settled in so well to Sunrise of Mobberley. We take great pride in delivering high quality care and providing facilities to our residents. Your recognition of this is invaluable to our team, thank you.
My parents went into Sunrise initially on a respite basis before moving down South but stayed 4 months during the lockdown. Sunrise did an amazing job keeping residents safe and well cared for during such challenging times. I was particularly impressed with the regular informative and reassuring communications with family members and the desire to be flexible whilst maintaining rigorous infection controls. Thank you so much!
Thank you for taking the time to review Sunrise of Mobberley. Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We were delighted to have your parents stay with us and looking forward to welcoming them back in the future, if their requirements change.
Cannot fault the care my mother receives and the dedication of all the staff. They have done an outstanding job keeping her safe and well in these very difficult circumstances. We have been kept updated and have enjoyed our FaceTime calls.
Here at Sunrise of Mobberley we endeavor to provide the very best experience for our residents and their families. Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words with us, these will be shared with the team.
My parents have lived together at Sunrise Mobberley since last November. We chose this home partly because it has lovely couple suites, where Mum and Dad (married for 56 years) could be together with their little dog too (so wonderful to find a home that welcomes pets) and partly as it is so beautiful (both the building itself and the green setting). The staff have been very kind and helpful at all stages, and we have been really impressed with how thoroughly they have dealt with the COVID-19 situation. I have found great peace of mind in knowing Mum and Dad are being well cared for. Sunrise is a truly lovely home, which I would recommend thoroughly to others.

I've not seen my Mum for 12 weeks but the communication has been exemplary and throughout this health crisis we have been comforted knowing that Mum is in truly safe hands.
I have recommended Sunrise on 2 occasions to other families and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
Thank you to the whole Sunrise team.

I live abroad so it is vital for me to be sure that the standard of care and facilities are as they claim to be and this has really been my experience. The staff are wonderful, exceedingly patient and genuinely caring for all their residents irrespective of their needs. The facilities are excellent and the food is marvellous - I have managed to experience this at first hand, trying to make my visits coincide with lunch!
To top it all now, Sunrise's handling of the Covid crisis has been beyond expectations and so praiseworthy with apparent full control of the situation.
Our dining team will be thrilled with your lovely comments. Here at Sunrise of Mobberley we cater for each resident based on preferences and dietary requirements. Hearing this positive feedback is greatly appreciated by everyone in the community.
I have been extremely grateful to the management and wonderful staff at Sunrise Mobberley. They have looked after my mum with dedication and kindness for the last three years. Their approach to the Coronavirus crisis has been exemplary. They have kept family informed at every stage, taken steps to prepare in a timely manner and kept the residents safe, sometimes involving considerable sacrifice to themselves.
Here at Sunrise of Mobberley, we have worked hard to ensure all of the residents receive the highest quality of care and security within our home. Thank you for your kind words, these will be shared with the team and we look forward to welcoming you back to our home soon.
Sunrise has looked after my very elderly Mum for several years, their care and compassion is wonderful at every level. She has been very poorly at times but no matter how busy they are the nurses have always kept in touch to let us know how she is. There is a lovely friendly and caring atmosphere and as a family, we are so grateful that Mum is so very well cared for.
At Sunrise of Mobberley, our ultimate goal is to provide the best possible level of care we can. From our carers, nurses and activities team we strive to achieve a sociable and comfortable community our residents can call home.
The rooms are bright, clean and fresh whilst being cosy. There are numerous quiet areas where the family can sit with residents during visits. The food is excellent and served in lovely dining areas or in the room should the residents wish. Outside of mealtimes, there is also 24-hour access to drinks and nibbles. Placing loved ones into care can be very distressing, the management and the care teams were so supportive throughout the process and gave the family complete confidence and reassurances. Both our parents are very happy and settled here. I have yet to find anything rating below excellent.
We are thrilled with your positive experience and are so glad your relative has settled in so well to Sunrise of Mobberley. We take great pride in delivering high quality care and providing facilities to our residents. Your recognition of this is invaluable to our team, thank you.
The personal and nursing care she is receiving is professional, caring and to a very high standard. She has enjoyed very good food, lots of interesting activities, particularly over Christmas, and loved the hair-dos and manicures. Mum is considering returning to her own home in the near future - a real testament to the standard of care!
The building itself is in a beautiful location and very well appointed with en suite rooms and excellent public areas - there is a lovely warm feel to the place as you enter.
I am happy to recommend Sunrise of Mobberley, thank you to all the team.

The residents we met were friendly and the staff were lovely and extremely caring and helpful.
I would recommend this Sunrise to anyone and hope to return here one day myself.

Our mother lived at Sunrise for around 18 months. She could not have had better care. The facilities are wonderful, the staff are warm and caring and Sunrise made sure her final days were pain-free, dignified and untroubled. We live abroad and when we phoned - daily towards the end, there was always someone there to give us a briefing on her state. She loved being there - the facilities were first class - and the staff were more caring than I could have imagined. It could not be less like the sort of place many people have in mind when they talk of a "home". Sunrise was more than a home from home and we shall always remember the care and kindness of everyone there.

My mother has spent the last two years of her life at Sunrise of Mobberley and I have visited her at least once a week. Each time I have found her to be clean and well cared for. The nurses and carers have been very supportive of me and my mother. Mum said many times that everyone was very kind to her and when I had some funding issues with the Council and the CCG, the management at Sunrise were very supportive. I consider myself to be quite fortunate in having been able to get mum a place at Sunrise of Mobberly.
Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities to make a difference to our residents and their families lives.
The general manager and the entire team at Sunrise Mobberley have looked after my father superbly. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for expert care for their elderly parents. Nothing has been too much trouble and the price for a private suite worked out cheaper than other homes around the Alderley Edge area. Food, laundry and entertainment are first class and we couldn't be happier.

The Sunrise of Mobberley Team.
My parents moved into Sunrise in the Autumn of 2018 when the task of caring for my ill father became too much for my 90-year-old mother. My mother was adamant that this would be for a limited period and she would move back into the family home. Sadly my father passed away before Christmas. The care for them both during his illness and the kindness on his passing were exemplary. Most importantly for me, the friendliness of the staff, combined with the atmosphere of the facility (more like a hotel than a care home) has persuaded my mother to stay on, where she can get the support she needs. She is extremely happy with her new situation and finding a new lease of life in the supportive environment.
Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We take great...
The couple suite my mother-in-law stays in is of a very high standard having recently been refurbished. There is plenty of room and it has been very tastefully decorated and the furnishings are also of a high standard.
The food and drinks provided are varied and of good quality as well as individual needs being provided for.
In my opinion, Sunrise is one of the best Care homes I have had experience of. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Sunrise definitely met our needs at what could have been a very difficult time.
We had looked around a few residential homes before choosing Sunrise and found that it stood out in terms of cleanliness and the quality of surroundings. It has allowed my mother to regain her confidence in a safe and caring environment and has surpassed our expectations.
Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We were delighted to have your mother stay with us and looking forward to welcoming them back in the future if their requirements change.

Sure enough, on the Friday my friend had been asked to be ready at the door for 9am for transport to the health centre. It did not arrive until 9:45am. She had only just returned when we arrived at 10.30am.
Maybe it was unusual but the disabled toilet I was directed to in the hall had a faeces stained floor and dirty pan but hopefully, it was cleaned quickly. I did report it.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Sunrise of Mobberley. Your feedback is very important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents and guests. We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care and facilities to make a difference to our residents...
My Mother had a recent respite stay at Sunrise Mobberley which was a resounding success. Her room was clean and welcoming. The staff greeted her by name and did their best to make her feel welcome even though she was not a permanent resident. Being an older person my Mother is not as tolerant as she could be but even she found very little to complain about although you cannot please everyone all of the time and it is still a care Home. The activities were varied and interesting and although my Mother didn’t take part in many as she is not a “joiner” she enjoyed reading the calendar. She particularly enjoyed her walks in the lovely gardens.
Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We were delighted to have your mother stay with us and looking forward to welcoming her back in the future if their requirements change.

Meet the Team (1)

I have 14 years of experience in adult social care and children's services. I’ve worked hard through the years to gain skills and knowledge of many areas of health and social care for adults and children, and I have progressed through numerous roles over the years. Most recently, I achieved a registered manager’s role.
In this role, my focus is on ensuring we provide quality care and that residents and their families are happy. You need to have patience, good communication, listening skills and empathy. I love communicating with residents, their families and my colleagues. Every day, I feel inspired working alongside my team to provide good standards of care.
Knowing that we provide a positive environment and good quality of life for residents makes me proud.
