Overall Experience

10/10 for this care home who have looked after my husband for the last five years. The staff are absolutely superb in their approach to Huntington's residents helping them with all their daily needs whether on a one to one basis, as is the case for my husband or in group situations. My experience with the staff has been excellent looking after my welfare as well of those of my husband. They are all very kind, efficient, and caring in their approach to all the residents that they are caring for despite it being a very difficult job and profession. The home is very well run and the management really are hands on with the residents and their approach to difficult situations is second to none. I can't recommend the home highly enough.

Overall Experience

The Care my husband receives which is complex is excellent, the staff are so lovely and caring and I feel he is treated as part of a big family. The food is great and staff are always on hand if I need to discuss anything. I have had experience of a number of homes and this is by far the best we have experienced. There is a wide variety of disciplines available if he needs specialist treatment e.g physio.I Thoroughly recommend it .

Overall Experience

I want my husband out of this home asap. Had we known how he would've cared for me and my son would never have put him in there. His dementia is worsening due to their care and we want him moved before he withdraws into himself more. This cannot just be put down to his illness or just being there a short time. I know my husband and his switching off as so unhappy. I'm approaching an independent mental health advisor who knows him and can vouch for him. They cannot provide the safety without one on one which is traumatising my husband. This is a horrific nightmare for all of us.
