My mother-in-law was cared for with the utmost dignity and compassion during the last 2 weeks of her life which she spent in Euxton Park. The home is beautifully clean and welcoming. Her daughters and son want me to add that they were so impressed with the caring staff who couldn't do enough. Thank you so much for your help at this sad time. No hesitation in recommending Euxton Park for anyone looking for superb care for their loved ones

My friend spent her last days at Euxton Park Care Home and the care she had was second to none. The girls were courteous and attentive, popping in as they passed her room with a smile and pleasant greeting. My friend was a devout Christian and the staff would read to her from the bible when she was unable to do this herself. To the day she died even though she was not conscious in the later stages. After she passed away the staff were still concerned enough to ensure her beloved belongings were properly dealt with. Many thanks for your care.

My Mother-in-law has been in this care home for August 2016. The food is horrendous. It's all tinned or packet rubbish. She lives on cold toast, jacket potatoes and chips. We try and take her good, healthy, fresh food a few times a week to help her out.
The carers are lovely, friendly and helpful. The managers aren't great. It's very clean.

She also doesn't get regular showers which isn't good enough.

By and large, the staff at the home are friendly and efficient. At times, meals can be a little disappointing given the cost of the facility to residents.

I feel that the well-being of residents of residents could be greatly enhanced by one to one visits from non-care based staff.

Until I came here from hospital on 30th October, I had no idea of this type of care home. Since being here, I have 98% decided to stay here because of mainly the unit manager and all the staff.

My wife has been a resident here since 2009. Her experience here has been good throughout. She has an excellent relationship with all carers and senior staff and the present regime is the best we have experienced. Improvements are making the home more welcoming and comfortable and we are generally happy with how things are progressing.

My mum was made to feel very welcome and encouraged to bring her own possessions and furniture to personalise her room and to help her to feel at home and settled. She was always allowed to have her own bedding and curtains and she believed that she was in a hotel, rather than a care home. The staff were really caring and thoughtful to my mum, especially in her last days. This care and compassion extended to supporting the family during her end of life care and in the period afterwards. We were not rushed to clear out the room and they helped with this as well.

My dad has been at Euxton Park for three and a half years and is currently very well well cared for in the home. I have faith in the present manager, who has made significant improvements since her appointment. She is very approachable and keen to move the home forward. Thank you to all members of staff for caring for my dad.

Sadly Mum needed a nursing home three years ago, I looked at six other homes before EUXTON PARK. It was an easy decision to make as EUXTON PARK was by far the best. From day one I knew I had made the right choice. Mum is well looked after by friendly caring staff. I want the best for Mum and that is definitely what she is getting.
