My father-in-law has recently become a resident of Birch Green Care Home. As a family, we were concerned that he might not settle in or like it there. However, we had nothing to worry about. He has settled in very well. The home is lovely. It is very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would not hesitate in recommending the care home to other would-be users. Thank you for everything you do.

Each time I have visited Mum, I am impressed by the professional and caring nature of each staff member. Thank you.
On value for money, the score could have been selected as excellent, but do believe the state should provide for all. It's not a reflection of Birch Green, which is good value.

Birch Green Care Home and all the staff are truly amazing. My mother has been there for many years and is looked after incredibly well, despite the fact that she is very difficult with lots of challenging behavioural issues. The team, led by the general manger and team leader, are professional at all
times and are also patient, kind and understanding in whatever situation arises. In addition, they liaise with residents' families so that the best decisions are made for everyone involved. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this wonderful home to anyone who is looking for top-class care for a relative or friend.

My brother was a resident at Birch Green Care Home for the past four years. He passed away in October after a month in the hospital. The management and staff were amazing. My brother had Alzheimer's and could be aggressive and difficult to cope with but this never phased the staff he was treated with
dignity and respect and very well cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home and thank them sincerely for everything they did for my brother. An amazing team!

The staff know all the residents by name and provides personal, kind care. They are patient, considerate and understanding. All our family feel embraced and included in the care of my husband. We are much more comfortable with the situation because he is looked after so well.

My husband had been at Birch Green Care Home for just over four years. Throughout his stay, he received the utmost care and attention. Staff show love, care, dignity and privacy at all times. Could not ask for better care for my husband who could be challenging at times. They carried out all duties
with patience during the Covid episode. They carried out all usual duties with care and compassion. I can only thank all staff from the bottom of my heart.

My husband came into this lovely home while I was in the hospital. All the staff were absolutely fantastic so caring and understanding, I didn't have to worry about him while I was recovering because I knew he was getting the best possible care. He settled in so quickly and so well because of the staff,
you were all so patient, you made him smile, a real home from home.

I find the home exceptionally caring towards my nan, she never suffers or wants for anything. She is well looked after, cared for and comfortable. She is happy always. Staff are very approachable and I have never had an issue but I feel if I did, it would be dealt with.

I have seen much improvement in the cleanliness of both my brother and his room in the past 12 months. Due to the fact that we live abroad for six months of the year, I can only comment on how I have seen the improvement over such a period of time. In terms of his personal care, this is also much improved.

Friendly and supportive staff, always approachable when we visit. Mum seems to have a good relationship with the staff. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Now that the restrictions are not as tight, activities are starting to take place, which I think is a great thing for residents and staff. Our
family is always kept up to date with mum's condition. One suggestion from me would be some sort of family portal, so I could log in to see how mums day has been, so when I visit (or from home) I can see how she's been etc.

We have our mum living at Birch Green Care Home and cannot express how much love and care that she is receiving. Our mum's needs are being met and we know that Birch Green Care Home staff go above and beyond to take care of her. It also gives the family peace of mind she is being well cared for.

Mum was only there for three weeks, she had terminal cancer. The kindness and compassion shown to Mum and all her family were exceptional. The staff are fabulous, and we cannot thank them enough for all they did for Mum and ourselves.

The care team looked after my uncle for a short time up to his death and we couldn't have wished for him to spend his last days in a better place.

My Dad was given excellent care. The home is friendly and welcoming, staff did everything possible to support and care for my Dad and to support his family. I was able to have peace of mind that my Dad was in no danger and was well cared for, by competent, professional, efficient, dedicated and caring
staff. Our family were allowed to be with Dad 24/7. Excellent care which treated my Dad as a person rather than 'another' patient. I can't put into words the relief I felt knowing that my dad was safe and cared for.
