The weekly fee excludes: hairdressing, chiropody, opticians, purchase of new clothing, newspapers where specifically for the service user, laundering of delicate items which cannot be laundered in the high temperature commercial washers used by the provider or by hand washing.

If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.

Andrea is the Registered Manager of Priory Court and joined in 2022 after transferring from her Deputy Matron position at New Thursby Nursing Home after 3 years. Andrea had worked as a lead Practice Nurse for 20 years after a career as a Senior sister within A&E at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Andrea is leading a team which aims to create an atmosphere of harmony where residents can really feel at home in their environment.

Alina is the Deputy Manager at Priory Court Nursing Care Home. She joined Century Healthcare in 2005 and has supported many of our homes. She has worked at Century Healthcare as a Deputy Manager and also as a Registered Manager. Alina moved to Romania in 2019 and returned to the UK in 2021, re-joining the Century Healthcare family. Alina has many years of nursing home experience.
