We are so pleased with Mum's care here, she has gone to have everything done for her. All staff treat her and us with friendliness and dignity. Her food doesn't look nice look nice because it has to be blended. Mum eats it and loves the desserts. the home is so clean and never smells of urine like others. The dedication of staff during Covid lockdown was fantastic. Mum's room has just been redecorated and looks marvelous. Marton and the deputy are always willing to talk to us and answer any questions we have, we are 100% happy with Priory Court.

My father was in Priory Court from February 2023 to September 2023. He was admitted following a period in hospital as a result of a fall. He had lived independently up to this point in his 95th year. The matron and staff were an asset to Priory Court. Dad was supported in his transition from independence to supported care.
He preferred to keep himself to himself, probably as a result of being on his own for so long. This was also supported by the staff and meals and drinks were given in his room. His health over the last few months deteriorated and staff made sure he was nursed and his needs taken care of.
I am grateful that my father was in Priory Court for the last few months of his life, and even after his death, the staff ensured his dignity was preserved and an air of calm prevailed over his last hours.

Thank you to all the team at Priory Court.

Mum is currently in Priory Court - which is her preferred place to receive palliative care. The staff are amazing and I know that whilst I can't be with her 24/7, she's well cared for while I'm working.

The reason Mum chose Priory Court was due to their care of my dad who passed in 2017.

I was very nervous about my husband's care being provided by a nursing home. I never imagined we would find somewhere like Priory Court. It is just wonderful! A happy caring home where loved ones are truly looked after just how you would want them to be. Every single staff member is just lovely! Thank you to the matron and all her staff from the bottom of my heart for not only looking after my darling husband but the family too.

Priory Court has far exceeded my expectations. My father, myself, my family and all our visitors are totally blown away by the staff, the cleanliness and the care provided. You all immediately treated us like family. Everything is done to perfection and to the highest standard whilst providing a home-from-home at the same time. We cannot thank the manager and her whole team enough!

Our mother had a stroke and bleed on the brain in February 2023. She was left permanently paralysed on her right side and unable to speak. She received excellent care at the home. The family were confident she was in the best place. The staff were so kind and compassionate. Mum's dog was allowed to visit and this was special. Our mother died May 28th and the family cannot thank the home enough for their deep respect and heartfelt kindness.

My mother spent six months at the Priory Court until she passed away on 23/1/23. I want to express my gratitude for the home, as my mother was treated wonderfully in all aspects of care. The staff were professional, caring and respectful to not only my mum but to me and any visitors that came to see her. My mum had no complaints at all, whether about care, food or cleanliness.

I am very happy at Priory Court Nursing Home. I feel safe and very well looked after by matron and all the staff. The food is very good and are big portions. Every day we do a variety of activities which is fun. I highly recommend here. I was unable to walk when I came here and had a poor appetite but with the love and support of the staff I am now able to eat a proper meal and can walk unaided. I also enjoy our outings in the minibus to places like the zoo, garden centres and down the lights. Staff have fancy dress up days to raise extra money for the residents fund which is such good fun.

Overall Experience
My Aunt came to Priory following 3 weeks in Victoria Hospital as she needed 24/7 nursing care. We had spent time visiting various nursing homes, considering the CQC reviews etc. We had a lovely welcome and good information about the care and the facilities. Later, we had a tour of the home with the matron. We were impressed with the standard and the helpfulness and friendliness of the matron and her staff.
My aunt was treated with care and dignity throughout. She was well looked after and supported by all staff; medical attention was sought quickly if needed. Her room was spacious and clean. She felt very comfortable and enjoyed conversing with staff. Sadly, she was very poorly and passed away peacefully after a few weeks. We were pleased she had spent her last few weeks there and we know she felt safe and happy there. Relatives and friends were treated well and close family were kept well informed.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Priory Court for good care.
