My mother has only been a resident for 7 weeks, but during that time I have been extremely satisfied with the standard of care and the caring nature of the staff.

My husband has been at the care home since October 2017 and after a period of 6 weeks he was quite difficult for them but with the care and attention, they gave him he seems to be settled and happy.

The home is a very calm and pleasant place for him to enjoy and visiting him is a pleasure for me.

My wife has been resident in Holly Tree Lodge for 11 months suffering from dementia and I consider myself fortunate to have found this care home. She receives excellent care from all staff members and is always treated with dignity and respect despite some challenging behaviour on occasions.

Accommodation, meals and security are all perfectly acceptable.

Care assistants and management are always available and ready to discuss my wife's care and always keep me informed of any problems as they arise.

I am content knowing that my wife is in safe, caring hands.

Holly Tree Lodge is an excellent care home. Carers are very good with staff and visitors. Visitors are made welcome. The care home is kept very clean.

Carers will give you their time to talk to you and answer any question or put your mind at ease at any time.

My brother has been in Holly Lodge for two years now. He seems very happy and although he can't talk, the carers manage to understand him and interact with him. When I ask him about his meals he licks his lips.

My father is a full-time resident. This care home is excellent for dementia care. My father is receiving nursing care as well as excellent medical care. The home is a very welcoming place with a very good security system in place. Patients are able to move around freely with plenty of staff available. The staff promote independence but are constantly aware of individual needs. The home is extremely clean and residents are always clean with their clothing and bedding changed regularly. Both management and staff are very easy to speak with and on hand daily.

My father has not had a good time over a period of 18 months. He had two falls and was kicked out of his previous care home. Since he became a resident at Holly Treey Lodge his health has improved with the help of care staff. I am satisfied that he is getting the amount of care he deserves. I don't think my father would still be alive but for the care, he receives at Holly Tree Lodge

Since my husband was accepted at Holly Tree Lodge he has had the best of care getting his medication sorted so it was right and as he has deteriorated they have put his interest and comfort. They have kept me fully informed of what is happening. The staff are friendly and helpful and good with the residents.

I have no problems with the care home. The staff are helpful and sympathetic to the concerns of the relatives. The meals are to a good standard and are sufficient to most people's needs. Personally, my husband is well cared for, even in some trying circumstances. Overall, the home is the best I could have wanted for my husband.

My overall opinion of the residential home is that of satisfactory. There has been one or two minor incidents that could have been avoided by segregating one or two of the residents from the remainder to prevent aggression and violence. The staff were quick in resolving the issue and dealt with it immediately but this should not be happening. When it does its too late and could result into a serious matter and consequences.

My wife was moved to Holly Tree from a care home in Wakefield, requiring nursing care. The carers at Holly Tree are fine and in the upper lounge there is always a nurse present.
I must register my disapproval of a DOL, most people with my wife's complaint require activity and stimulation, but the DOL seems to restrict this.

Her day consists of sitting in a chair, I and her daughter, would love the opportunity to take her out, to do things together. She is a quiet lady (unlike some) and quite harmless. Apart from this, Holly Tree cares for my wife satisfactorily.

This is the second care home that my father has lived at. I am highly delighted with the care and lifestyle that he is receiving. The home is perfect for his condition and the care given is exceptional and I am never concerned with the home that he now lives in.

Generally a caring home/staff clean and well maintained. My only concern - which I communicated to the management - was that when my sister began eating a normal diet after three years eating only chocolate biscuits and drinking lemonade, the management failed to inform the family of this major change. I found this astounding.

However, I am generally very happy that my sister is in Holly Tree Lodge.

The care home overall is not bad, the bedrooms need some attention decorating with a bit of new carpet. The food is ok but requires a regular cook in the kitchen.

After a year, I was promoted to the position of Deputy Manager, which allowed me to gain further experience. Both roles have given me a lot of satisfaction and enabled me to find fulfilment in my work. Alongside the residents and their families, we can genuinely say that we are building the Holly Tree Lodge Family."

"Our care and dedication make this place truly special. I really appreciate the strong support from Andrew and Steve and the managers, their frequent visits, attention to detail and their commitment to promoting staff training. These aspects make our company a great place to work."
