My Aunt spent the last 5 months of her life in Cherry Trees. She often expressed she felt safe and cared for there, and I always had peace of mind that she was being looked after. The care and compassion from all of the staff were excellent and was really reassuring. Her specific healthcare needs were met, especially in her last few days of life. I would not hesitate to recommend Cherry Trees.

The care staff and management are exceptional and second to none. Their kind, caring ways and thoughtfulness are outstanding and the care that they provide is exemplary. The dignified way that they speak to and treat the residents is absolutely top class. I couldn't speak high;y enough of them, they represent their profession very highly and are a credit to it. In short, outstanding!
My recently deceased Mum spent what turned out to be her final two years at Cherry Trees. Not only was my Mum very happy there, with lots of activities and being able to chat with fellow residents, but she also received a standard of care that, in my family's opinion, was second to none. The staff were thoughtful, caring and helpful and because of this, we were confident in the knowledge that my Mum was safe and secure, with both her personal and medical needs being attended to. I also think it important to bring out that during the Covid-19 crisis, the staff went 'above and beyond' to enable us to have as much contact as possible with my Mum whilst adhering to the health protocols. This was especially important to us since we no longer live in the Rotherham area. I have no hesitation in recommending Cherry Trees Care Home.
The staff went up and beyond their caring duties.
My mum was admitted in June last year and we all knew that my mum would be nursed to her end of life eventually.
I found the staff genuinely compassionate and caring.
I also felt fully supported in my time of grief.
The staff were extremely empathetic and understanding.
I would like to thank you through to her end of life care.
We did have a bit of humour as that is what people need sometimes to soften the blow.
I will certainly miss you all.
As a family, we could relax as we knew every health issue was addressed and any hospitalisation was managed. Our mum was allowed to live out her life in a way she wanted, without Cherry Trees it wouldn't have been as dignified or kind. We had looked at lots of care homes beforehand and had had experience of a few, Cherry Trees was in a different league and gave us confidence that Mum's mental and physical well-being would be understood and cared for.
One of the areas Cherry Trees excels at is person-centred care, it is obvious that everyone in the home has really good knowledge about Mum and demonstrates care and compassion about all aspects of her life. The main thing is Mum is happy and Cherry Trees is her home and that is priceless.

My dad was in the care home for only a short time due to his health. During that time he was treated with excellent care and dignity. Management and all staff were friendly and efficient with the care of my dad, keeping family members informed of any developments or needs. I would certainly recommend this care home for residential care. 5 star.

I have not seen my grandad this happy, relaxed and this well in a long time. He hasn't been in Cherry Trees long but this difference is amazing. Coming to Cherry Trees has given him a new lease of life and a proper spring in his step. We are all over the moon he has made Cherry Trees his new home.

My grandad has recently moved to Cherry Trees and has settled really well. This is all down to the staff making it warm, caring and a friendly place. My grandad is so happy and content and is always smiling when we visit. It puts our minds at ease to see him thriving in the care home during the difficult times of the pandemic.

After just a couple of weeks my dad has settled in Cherry Trees amazingly. He has lived alone for 6 years, with visits and help from family. An emotional time for us, moving him into care, but he absolutely loves it. He keeps saying he couldn't wish for anything better. Such a shame that at this time we can only visit 'through the window' but under the circumstances that is sufficient, at least we can see him. The staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming. He keeps saying he doesn't want for anything. He looks very comfortable in his new home. We are very, very satisfied and happy with his care. Thank you all.

Couldn't have asked for better care for our parents. The staff did all they could to ensure mum and dad spent the day time together.
The very busy staff are kind and professional, they looked after and cared for my father to the very end. He passed away in comfort and dignity due to the dedication of all the staff. Thank you.

Cherry Trees provided my Mum with a family. They entertained her, cared for her, comforted her and at the end, they were with her. They also cared for me. They knew when to contact me and when I was there, they welcomed me. They made me feel part of the team. They are professional, more than tolerant and they share a wonderful sense of humour. They keep Cherry Trees clean, welcoming and fun; a real home from home.
