Thank you. David
David thank you for your wonderful review. Your words mean so much to our team and I will ensure I pass these on directly to each individual staff member. We are so happy that your brother in law loves it at Alexander Court, we love caring for him and as you know we like Alexander Court to feel like one big family.
All the staff were so lovely and friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble. They treated my mum with love care and dignity, and we all felt very much like family
We cannot thank you enough for such a lovely review of Alexander Court. We are glad you felt like family, this is exactly what we wish for Alexander Court. We are all missing your Mum dearly, she was such a valued part of Alexander Court. I will pass on your words to all the team and once again thank you.
Caring, helpful staff, giving all information, very patient with residents. Kind and gentle. They encourage involvement in activities. Feel confident my family member is in their care. All staff very good.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will pass this on to the staff. We are glad that you are confident in the care provided at Alexander Court and that you recognise the hard work of all staff to ensure your Mum feels safe, respected, treated with dignity and included in activities. Thank you
Overall, a good experience, rooms could be bigger and more food choices.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to hear overall you are happy with the experience for your Mother at Alexander Court. As you are aware my door is always open so please come and discuss the areas where we can improve and we would be happy to help
My husband was only in the home a short amount of time. I will never forget the care and kindness he received while he was in there.
Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. It was truly a privilege to care for your husband during his time with us at Alexander Court.
We understand how precious those moments are, and we are incredibly touched that you felt supported by our team throughout such a difficult time....
The staff from managers to cleaners and handyman and all carers were excellent.
Thank you, what a lovely review. We absolutely loved caring for your Dad, he was certainly a character, but always made the staff smile. We will miss him dearly. I will pass on your kind comments to the staff, once again thank you these words mean so much to us and your feedback is highly valued.
Im really disappointed to see that staff are being moved around when as a residents family we was expecting staff to remain the same as it had always been the new senior on the residential unit has been fantastic so I'm frustrated to see her move floors as she is brilliant upstairs and the residents need her to speak for them, she will tell tell you the truth she is trustworthy and further more my family appreciate the care she gives and also I have seen for myself the impact she has on the residents in the home they are full of laughter and love her being there just like a care home should be
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm really sorry to hear how disappointed you feel with management, and I want to reassure you that your views are genuinely important to us. It is lovely to hear such positive feedback about our senior on the residential unit. I completely...
My husband was at Alexander Court for end of life care. His final months were tough, but made easier by the friendly, professional and attentive team. He loved the food. The carers and nurses looked after him very well, and the activities team made sure he was included if he wished. He was treated with respect, but loved a joke with the staff too. They humoured him immensely and kept us informed of the day's antics. We were treated as members of the Alexander Court family. The manager ensured he had dignity and care in his final hours, for which we are forever grateful. Thank you to absolutely everyone at Alexander Court.
What a lovely review to receive. We are so glad that you felt part of our Alexander family, that is something myself and my team strive so hard to achieve. He definitely loved a joke, and his love for a daily full English and seconds will remain part of our memories. He will be very much missed, as...
My father was resident from March 25 to October 25 (7 months), he was extremely well cared for by all the staff and management. Food was of a good standard, plenty of choice to meet individual choice. Carers were always polite, cheerful, respectful and caring. They maintained his dignity and kept his appearance clean and smart. Activities for stimulation and socialisation were available daily, although his preference was to remain in his own room and watch his TV. However, activity staff still call on him to ensure he could change his mind if wished. Management ensured a suitable room to celebrate his 100th birthday party and made it memorable with a card/cake from the staff. Visiting daily provided family the opportunity to establish excellent relationships with staff/management who were readily available to discuss/share and nursing updates/needs/concerns relating to my father. I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursing home to anyone, and should I need care at any point in my life, I would hope to be provided care at such standard.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt and detailed review. It was our absolute privilege to care for your father during his seven months with us. Knowing that he felt well-supported, respected, and comfortable truly means the world to our entire team.
We're delighted...
Thank you for the care and respect your team gave to our mother.
Thank you for your lovely comment and 5 star review, we really do appreciate it. It was our pleasure to care for mum, she will be very much missed.
My mum is a resident at Alexander Court and has settled in very well. The manager and her team are caring, friendly and approachable. Mum is very happy and comfortable and has made some nice friends. She enjoys the weekly activities and described the recent summer fayre as "just perfect". Everyone makes you feel welcome, I like that you can visit at any time.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're absolutely delighted to hear that your mum has settled in so well at Alexander Court. It means a great deal to us to know she feels happy, comfortable, and part of the community. We're also glad she's enjoying the weekly activities and that the summer...
It is inevitable to feel, at times, isolated from family, friends, and the world at large. Within these constraints, I have been treated with care & respect, and have been given as much freedom as rules & safety allow. I have appreciated having my own washroom & being, gradually, encouraged to do as much as I could for myself.
My thanks to everyone at Alexander Court for their help and friendly care.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review. We are truly grateful you took the time to share your experience with us. It means a great deal to our team to know that the care and support we provided made a positive difference. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable and...

Thank you for your lovely comment. We are over the moon that you and your husband are happy with Alexander Court and we will continue to ensure our staff remain caring and compassionate.
The nurses and carers were lovely and couldn't do enough for her.
She, unfortunately, due to dementia, didn't know anything about where she was but I'm sure if she did she would have felt the same.
From myself and the team we would like to thank you for your kind words, they really do make us all smile. Your mum was loved by us all and we will miss her dearly. Please know that we are thinking of you all and do not hesitate to come and pay us a visit. Thank you.

Happy and well cared for by all the brilliant staff.
She was dubious about going in the home but quickly settled and was loved by all the staff.
Nothing was too much trouble, they used to sit and chat with Mum whilst she reminisced about her past.
Thank you for your kind words. Your Mum was loved here by all of us and it was our absolute pleasure to care for her and her family. I will pass your kind words on to all the staff. Please come and visit us soon we would love to see you all. Thank you.

Meet the Team (1)

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2013 and spent my first years working within the NHS on both medical admissions and critical care. It is here that I gained my clinical experience and developed the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent resident care. I then moved into Care Homes and have worked for numerous years at both the Deputy and Manager level. I have completed my Level 5 Qualification IAO Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care for Adults and my passion is to ensure that our residents live a life where they are valued, loved and cared for as one of our own. I want our home to feel like their home and I want their family and friends to feel welcome into our home-from-home environment.
I have an open-door policy so please feel free to come and meet me when I am in Monday to Friday.
Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all soonRachael
