My experience is a good one. The staff are caring and work really hard from what I have seen, they can't do enough for my mum and all the clients. My mum looks a lot healthier since being here - can't praise them enough.

After hearing horror stories of other care homes, Moorend Place is a care home to be relied on and trusted until otherwise proved to the contrary.

My mum is not in the best of health and I always find it upsetting to visit. But once at the care home, the staff make me very welcome, they are friendly and caring both to mum and me. I always leave feeling mum is getting the best of care and I always leave feeling more settled and happier than when I first arrived.

Overall Experience

Staff have been very welcoming, caring and friendly. Despite all the difficulties in care for my father, staff have been able to appreciate the difference between the person and the behaviour. I have been very reassured by staff that there is nothing to worry about despite my fathers regular phone calls.

Overall Experience

Although dad only stayed at Moorend Place three weeks he was very happy there, he loved music and they had a special music room decorated with records and posters of Elvis and The Beatles on the wall. He was very relaxed and comfortable sat in there. They also have a lovely café we could take dad and outside there's pretend shops, bus stop etc in the garden. Everyone made us feel very welcome.
