Cottingley Hall offers both long and short term stays, providing residential, nursing, convalescence and respite care. The care home also provides care for older people with a physical disability and palliative care.

A homely property, Cottingley Hall has a spacious interior with a great deal of thought gone into the furnishings and colour scheme. High ceilings add to the elegance of the living environments and there is also a sensory garden to enjoy.

Meals can be enjoyed in the traditional dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own room. Personalised cakes ensure that birthdays are always treated as special occasions.

Residents enjoy music and gardening, and reminiscence therapy is also organised to help those with dementia. Outings to places of interest make for a varied and interesting social calendar.

All the staff at Cottingley Hall are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad's room is light and spacious. He has enjoyed being able to eat his meals in his room. The food is lovely and caters well for his needs and preferences. There is a family atmosphere in the home where every
special occasion is celebrated. My dad and I have been made to feel truly at home here! Thank you, Cottingley Hall.

Respite care due to a fall at own home. Confusing to move to care facility after being in own home and able to eat, sleep etc when suited. Staff lovely but lots of them. Food excellent, good variety sensible menu. Clean tidy large room, very comfortable.

On arrival at the home, we were greeted with great respect and dignity. As this was initially respite care, we were not sure what to expect. It soon became apparent that this was a home full of care and committed to residents, family and visitors well-being. The level of professionalism was always without
fail, excellent but with genuine empathy. This never altered when a permanent placement was needed and this level of care maintained til the end.

I cannot praise this establishment enough. It is excellent. My stay has been excellent. The management and staff are wonderful. I cannot praise the staff enough. They are most helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and I have nothing but praise for the cleanliness of everything.

Full-time care. Nursing operated help when necessary. Meals served promptly and snacks in between. Only concern - bell not answered promptly sometimes during the night and early morning - staff very busy.

Short recuperation stay following operation. Everyone at the home from management, nursing staff, care staff, hostesses, and maintenance were attentive to my needs and went out of their way to make me relax and feel comfortable.

Excellent place for my mum. She has absolutely loved the experience. She was very well looked after and her health has improved in just 7 days!! Amazing. My father in law visited Cottingley Hall Nursing Home on day care for 4 days during June 2016. We wanted to know that he would be safe and well looked after. He found the food to be of an excellently high standard. He said that all the staff were caring, helpful and really nice and friendly. There was
entertainment every day to keep him occupied although he chose to sit and observed as he did not want to join in all the activities.
The home was spotlessly clean and inviting. Although the home did him the world of good, it got him up and out in a morning and it got him doing something instead of being sat in front of the telly at home, he did feel that the residents were a bit old for him. Despite the fact that he is in his 80's!
We would highly recommend the home and will definitely be going back if the need arises. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their help and for looking after my father in law and ensuring his safe keeping.

My mother had been a resident at the home for 6 years. During this time I never had any cause to complain for any reason. The staff were exceptional and very professional. The home is outstanding. Quality of food is second to none equal to a first class home.

An impressively warm welcome set the scene for my on-going stay at Cottingley Hall. In fact, after a week at another Bupa Care home, I was overwhelmed by everything her. Almost everyone on duty that day came to say hello. This was not the case at the other care home. Here nothing is too much trouble
for each every member of staff, led by the manager, who excels in all aspects of her role and responsibilities, the staff consistently maintain the very high standards that have been set. They are all kind, caring, thoughtful, committed and dedicated to their cause. My praise for them could not be higher. I am here to convalesce after a fall and other health issues. Cottingley Hall is playing a vital role in my recovery.

My aunt was in Cottingley Hall for about 9 months prior to her recent death there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home. The home is very pleasant and light, the decor is lovely and the whole place has a non-institutional feel. The gardens are beautiful and have recently been improved. Food
is very good and served in lovely surroundings. There is also a good range of activities for those who want to take part. But it is the people that really make this home. There is always a cheerful atmosphere and all members of staff are friendly and caring to both residents and visitors. Residents are treated with kindness and respect and are always listened to. The care given to my aunt in her last few weeks was superb, as was the support given to her family. Even in a relatively short time it felt that the staff here had become like a second family to her and we will always be grateful for that.

Can I offer the following feedback on our visit to Cottingley Hall

My wife and I would like to thank you for taking time to show us around your beautiful Nursing Home on 22nd September we both left with our faith restored in elderly care and what the best on offer is! This after what had been a
very difficult and distressing day having visited some facilities with less professional independent and group owned homes in the Bradford area. Our thoughts on leaving Cottingley Hall were that you set the standard that others should aspire to! At every point on our visit whoever we passed took time to say hello and offered a friendly smile, other homes seemed to overlook this most basic reassurance that good care is on offer. Excellent location, staff and facilities.

My two sisters and I sadly lost our mum last month, in July. We would just like to say a huge thank you to ALL the staff at Cottingley, who made mums last days as good as ever they could be, under the circumstances.
Mum had lived at Cottingley for over two years, and had always been treated with extreme
patience and care, but at the very end of her life it was lovely for her, and for all of us, that she could remain in her own room, in her own bed, with all her family around her, and being cared for by people who she knew and could recognise. Not only was mum well-cared for during these last days, but so were we, her family. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the help, care, love and support shown to us all which would have been impossible had mum had to go into a hospital.
I would most certainly recommend Cottingley Hall to anyone looking for high quality care for their friend or relative.
Yes, the house and grounds are wonderful - but it is the wonderful people working here who make it so special.

I have been to visit Cottingley Hall on a number of occasions now. I have always found all of the staff so warm and welcoming. The manager is extremely approachable and always on hand to speak to you. Even staff I have never met before greet me as though they know me in such a kind way. I have seen
how the staff interact with residents and I am awed with how well they cope with the different conditions that they are given to deal with every day.
I came last week whilst the summer fair was on and could see how hard all of the staff worked to make the day special for the residents.
I would recommend this home to anyone looking for care for their relatives/friends etc. :-)

Spacious rooms available for nursing and residential care - long and short stays available. Cottingley Hall was previously a private residence, giving it a real homely feel. Today, we still enjoy its gorgeous fireplaces, wood panelled hallways and high ornate ceilings. High quality furnishings give the home an extra special touch, along with our pretty landscaped gardens. All rooms have an en suite W/C or W/C with shower and flat screen TV.
