Staff are excellent, make the residents feel like individuals. Excellent activity program. Lovely and clean. Staff provide everything that my relative needs, some more encouragement to join activities would be good but understand you can't force. Facilities are excellent, I always feel welcomed and confident that any concerns will be dealt with.

The home has a warm friendly atmosphere, staff are caring and sympathetic to resident's needs. Daily entertainment and activities are provided that keep residents involved and active. In general, Cottingley Hall has the feel of a good quality hotel.

The Manager and staff at the care home have always been extremely helpful and it seems that nothing is too much trouble. They always keep me informed of my mother's condition. I have to say that the events that they have put on for the residents and family of the residents have been very well organised and a lot of hard work has been put into the events to make them special. I have to say that the Mad Hatter's tea party was especially good. The weather marred the event and I do think that a small tent shared between the care homes in the Bupa group would be a worthwhile expenditure as the staff were having to wheel the residents in an out to avoid the showers and that broke the event up which was a real pity as so much hard work had gone into it and would have meant that the barber shop singers could have continued singing to the residents under cover.

This time, however, I shall never forget the skill, understanding and complete kindness of the way I was treated by all the staff. It was an experience I shall never forget with the unwavering gratitude. I will look back on my weeks there with pleasure and gratitude for the treatment I received. I can't praise it highly enough.

We come and visit at least a few times a week and standards never slip.
There are lots of activities for residents to do and families can get involved too. I really enjoyed the meeting on Valentine's Day.
I personally think it's brilliant and excellent value for money.
The management is exceptional.

Nice pleasant staff but only one cheap print on three walls and a tiny flat screen television that my relative can barely see. The property itself needs lots of TLC.

All the staff at Cottingley Hall are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad's room is light and spacious. He has enjoyed being able to eat his meals in his room. The food is lovely and caters well for his needs and preferences. There is a family atmosphere in the home where every special occasion is celebrated. My dad and I have been made to feel truly at home here! Thank you, Cottingley Hall.

Respite care due to a fall at own home. Confusing to move to care facility after being in own home and able to eat, sleep etc when suited. Staff lovely but lots of them. Food excellent, good variety sensible menu. Clean tidy large room, very comfortable.

On arrival at the home, we were greeted with great respect and dignity. As this was initially respite care, we were not sure what to expect. It soon became apparent that this was a home full of care and committed to residents, family and visitors well-being. The level of professionalism was always without fail, excellent but with genuine empathy. This never altered when a permanent placement was needed and this level of care maintained til the end.
I cannot praise this establishment enough. It is excellent. My stay has been excellent. The management and staff are wonderful. I cannot praise the staff enough. They are most helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and I have nothing but praise for the cleanliness of everything.

Full-time care. Nursing operated help when necessary. Meals served promptly and snacks in between. Only concern - bell not answered promptly sometimes during the night and early morning - staff very busy.

Short recuperation stay following operation. Everyone at the home from management, nursing staff, care staff, hostesses, and maintenance were attentive to my needs and went out of their way to make me relax and feel comfortable.

Excellent place for my mum. She has absolutely loved the experience. She was very well looked after and her health has improved in just 7 days!! Amazing. Staff were excellent in every aspect needed when looking after elderly patients and patient understanding, professional, caring, dependable, the list goes on.

The home was spotlessly clean and inviting. Although the home did him the world of good, it got him up and out in a morning and it got him doing something instead of being sat in front of the telly at home, he did feel that the residents were a bit old for him. Despite the fact that he is in his 80's!
We would highly recommend the home and will definitely be going back if the need arises. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their help and for looking after my father in law and ensuring his safe keeping.

My mother had been a resident at the home for 6 years. During this time I never had any cause to complain for any reason. The staff were exceptional and very professional. The home is outstanding. Quality of food is second to none equal to a first class home.

An impressively warm welcome set the scene for my on-going stay at Cottingley Hall. In fact, after a week at another Bupa Care home, I was overwhelmed by everything her. Almost everyone on duty that day came to say hello. This was not the case at the other care home. Here nothing is too much trouble for each every member of staff, led by the manager, who excels in all aspects of her role and responsibilities, the staff consistently maintain the very high standards that have been set. They are all kind, caring, thoughtful, committed and dedicated to their cause. My praise for them could not be higher. I am here to convalesce after a fall and other health issues. Cottingley Hall is playing a vital role in my recovery.

My aunt was in Cottingley Hall for about 9 months prior to her recent death there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home. The home is very pleasant and light, the decor is lovely and the whole place has a non-institutional feel. The gardens are beautiful and have recently been improved. Food is very good and served in lovely surroundings. There is also a good range of activities for those who want to take part. But it is the people that really make this home. There is always a cheerful atmosphere and all members of staff are friendly and caring to both residents and visitors. Residents are treated with kindness and respect and are always listened to. The care given to my aunt in her last few weeks was superb, as was the support given to her family. Even in a relatively short time it felt that the staff here had become like a second family to her and we will always be grateful for that.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments of our home and will share your comments with the home’s manager. We send our condolences and are glad we could provide a final home for your aunt where she felt happy and comfortable. The Bupa Customer Care Team

Meet the Team (11)
I’m a Registered Home Manager and have worked in care since 2016. I previously worked as a Clinical Deputy Manager, which gave me a strong foundation in leadership, compliance, and delivering high-quality care. With a clinical background as a nurse, I’ve naturally progressed within the care home sector, building experience across resident care, safeguarding, and medication management. This journey has shaped my passion for leading teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
What I enjoy most about working in care is the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives every day. Supporting residents to live with dignity and comfort is incredibly rewarding, and I value the strong relationships built with residents, families, and colleagues.
Outside of work, I’m very family-oriented and have two young daughters, which has strengthened my empathy and patience. I enjoy spending time outdoors, focusing on well-being, and continuing my personal and professional development.
I’m a Senior Care Assistant and have worked in care for 32 years, joining Bupa in 2017. I’ve held several roles within the home, including housekeeping and activities, and completed my Level 3 apprenticeship with Bupa.
I enjoy mentoring staff and supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting high standards of care. I live locally with my husband and children, and in my spare time I enjoy socialising, playing snooker and darts, and spending time with family and friends.
I’m a Registered Nurse at Cottingley Hall and joined in June 2025. Before this, I worked as a Senior Care Assistant in a Bupa care home in West Sussex.
I enjoy communicating with residents and delivering high-quality care. I live in Keighley with my husband and three children.
I’ve worked in care for 33 years. Earlier in my career, I supported new team members as a Senior Care Assistant, helping them settle into their roles. I originally worked with children before moving into care, where I found my passion for supporting others.
What I love most about my role is helping residents feel happy and cared for. Outside of work, I enjoy walking and spending time with my family - I have eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. I also live just 10 minutes away from home, which makes me very much part of the local community.
I’ve worked at Cottingley Hall for three years, spending two years as a Care Assistant after starting as a hostess. I was introduced to the role through a family friend and quickly developed a strong interest in working in care.
I really enjoy talking to residents, hearing their life stories, and supporting them day to day - especially seeing them smile.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and living a healthy lifestyle. I was born in Poland and moved to the UK when I was four.
I’ve worked in care for six years and spent a year working as a hostess, alongside supporting in a chef role.
Before moving into care, I worked in a school and then as a stay-at-home mum, which inspired me to become a caregiver. I find working in care very rewarding.
I live locally and enjoy hiking and camping in my spare time. I also have four children whom I love spending time with.
I’m the Head of Activities at Cottingley Hall and have been in this role for three years, with seven years at Bupa in total. I’ve also worked as a Care Assistant, Housekeeper, and Kitchen Assistant/Hostess.
Before moving into care, I worked with children. I love hearing residents’ stories and helping to fulfil their wishes. I live locally and enjoy reading in my spare time.
I’m the Chef Manager at Cottingley Hall and have been in this role for over two years. Before joining Bupa, I worked as a Catering Manager for Bradford Council schools for 10 years.
I enjoy creating enjoyable meals for both residents and staff. I’m a mum to three grown-up sons and love gardening, cooking, decorating, reading, and spending time with my three cats.
I’m the Second Chef at Cottingley Hall and have been here for a year. I’m a self-taught chef with a particular passion for baking. I love seeing residents enjoy the meals I prepare.
At home, I have three children, one of whom is at university, and I recently got married. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, walking the dog, and playing snooker.
I’ve worked at Cottingley Hall for 14 years and currently support the home as a Maintenance Operative. During my time here, I’ve also worked as a Care Assistant and in housekeeping, as well as supporting different departments.
I enjoy helping people and solving problems, and I get a real sense of satisfaction from supporting both residents and staff.
I live locally and like to unwind by watching films in my spare time.
I’ve been with Bupa for 13 years and have worked as a Laundry Supervisor for the past five years. Before this, I’ve held a variety of roles including Care Assistant, Kitchen Assistant and Activities Assistant.
My journey started on nights, where I also achieved my NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. I enjoy making sure residents feel safe, comfortable and happy.
I live in Keighley and enjoy going to the gym.
