Cottingley Hall offers both long and short term stays, providing residential, nursing, convalescence and respite care. The care home also provides care for older people with a physical disability and palliative care.

A homely property, Cottingley Hall has a spacious interior with a great deal of thought gone into the furnishings and colour scheme. High ceilings add to the elegance of the living environments and there is also a sensory garden to enjoy.

Meals can be enjoyed in the traditional dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own room. Personalised cakes ensure that birthdays are always treated as special occasions.

Residents enjoy music and gardening, and reminiscence therapy is also organised to help those with dementia. Outings to places of interest make for a varied and interesting social calendar.

My mum has dementia and I couldn't have found a nicer place for her. I am delighted with the level of care and attention. She bonded well with staff members joined in the activities and thoroughly enjoyed her stay.
I would highly recommend Cottingley Hall Care Home.

Mother died in the care home on May 7th after 6 years and 4 months in residence. During this time she received the very best of care. She became very highly dependent in the later years and all staff responded with great professionalism, loving care and great tenderness. We could not fault anything
during this time. Cottingley Hall is a superb care home.

As I live alone, I took a one-week convalescence after a knee replacement. I had a very comfortable room with a good view. The food has been good and varied, the nurses and helpers are cheerful and friendly. Anytime visiting for my family was also appreciated. It has been a very happy week.

Mum came to Cottingley Hall after the hospital. She came specifically to convalesce and recover her strength after months of illness.
The very good quality of care provided my the staff at Cottingley Hall enabled mum to recover her mobility to the point she could move home.

I have been a permanent resident since June 2013, having been in respite in May 2012. My experience here has been very possible. The only downward side has been occasional difficulty with the recruitment of staff which applies to all homes. Staffing at the moment is excellent.

Staff are excellent, make the residents feel like individuals. Excellent activity program. Lovely and clean. Staff provide everything that my relative needs, some more encouragement to join activities would be good but understand you can't force. Facilities are excellent, I always feel welcomed and

The home has a warm friendly atmosphere, staff are caring and sympathetic to resident's needs. Daily entertainment and activities are provided that keep residents involved and active. In general, Cottingley Hall has the feel of a good quality hotel.

The Manager and staff at the care home have always been extremely helpful and it seems that nothing is too much trouble. They always keep me informed of my mother's condition. I have to say that the events that they have put on for the residents and family of the residents have been very well organised
and a lot of hard work has been put into the events to make them special. I have to say that the Mad Hatter's tea party was especially good. The weather marred the event and I do think that a small tent shared between the care homes in the Bupa group would be a worthwhile expenditure as the staff were having to wheel the residents in an out to avoid the showers and that broke the event up which was a real pity as so much hard work had gone into it and would have meant that the barber shop singers could have continued singing to the residents under cover.

I went to Cottingley Hall in January 2017 following a stay in hospital after I had broken my left hip in a fall in December 2016. I had in fact been there several years earlier in which I had broken my right hip in a fall in Istanbul but I couldn't really remember it.
This time, however, I shall never
forget the skill, understanding and complete kindness of the way I was treated by all the staff. It was an experience I shall never forget with the unwavering gratitude. I will look back on my weeks there with pleasure and gratitude for the treatment I received. I can't praise it highly enough.

I find the staff really nice and friendly and attentive. I feel confident that my nana is getting the care she needs.
We come and visit at least a few times a week and standards never slip.
There are lots of activities for residents to do and families can get involved too. I really enjoyed the meeting
on Valentine's Day.
I personally think it's brilliant and excellent value for money.
The management is exceptional.

Spacious rooms available for nursing and residential care - long and short stays available. Cottingley Hall was previously a private residence, giving it a real homely feel. Today, we still enjoy its gorgeous fireplaces, wood panelled hallways and high ornate ceilings. High quality furnishings give the home an extra special touch, along with our pretty landscaped gardens. All rooms have an en suite W/C or W/C with shower and flat screen TV.
