The Menu Collection offers a varied selection of dishes tailored to individual tastes and dietary requirements, while the Night Bite menu provides lighter options between meals. Several dining areas are also available for families wishing to host private celebrations, such as birthdays and special occasions.
Activities are at the heart of Cottingley Hall. The varied programme is shaped around residents’ interests and preferences, with regular entertainment, social events, outings and trips designed to encourage engagement and wellbeing. Friends and family are always welcome to visit and participate.

I have been looked after very well, nothing is too much trouble. Staff and residents are very friendly. Having said this, one morning, no one came to help me with dressing until 10 minutes before lunch, after ringing the bell twice. I nearly went to lunch in my nightie.

When I first came here the manager looked after me very well and saw to my every need. She even found me an electric chair with adjustable footstool. I have been here for nearly two years and I can't fault the home.

Caring and lovely staff who looked after my mum and dad really well. They quickly build an excellent rapport with them and were very attentive.

We were extremely impressed with the care and kindness shown by all staff to our friend. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the nursing care was excellent.

Manager and staff very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The only thing was the district nurses should have a special cupboard in the room, as they just took over my friend's wardrobe.

My mum has dementia and I couldn't have found a nicer place for her. I am delighted with the level of care and attention. She bonded well with staff members joined in the activities and thoroughly enjoyed her stay.
I would highly recommend Cottingley Hall Care Home.

Mother died in the care home on May 7th after 6 years and 4 months in residence. During this time she received the very best of care. She became very highly dependent in the later years and all staff responded with great professionalism, loving care and great tenderness. We could not fault anything...

Overall Experience
As I live alone, I took a one-week convalescence after a knee replacement. I had a very comfortable room with a good view. The food has been good and varied, the nurses and helpers are cheerful and friendly. Anytime visiting for my family was also appreciated. It has been a very happy week.

Mum came to Cottingley Hall after the hospital. She came specifically to convalesce and recover her strength after months of illness.
The very good quality of care provided my the staff at Cottingley Hall enabled mum to recover her mobility to the point she could move home.

I have been a permanent resident since June 2013, having been in respite in May 2012. My experience here has been very possible. The only downward side has been occasional difficulty with the recruitment of staff which applies to all homes. Staffing at the moment is excellent.
