Mum's been in Hartshead now for seven years.
She's not local to the area, in fact, she's from Doncaster and has only ever previously been to Scholes to visit me.
However, when I was looking for care facilities following her stroke, there was no doubt that Hartshead was the place for her.
The people
who work here are second to none. Absolutely amazing. I've never seen a mardy face or heard a disparaging word spoken about any of the residents.
Mum's needs are quite comprehensive, she had a severe and debilitating stroke but I can honestly say, she has never been happier, in her whole life. She smiles and laughs all the time. Until she went into the home, I don't think I'd ever heard my mum laugh. So well done to all the people of Hartshead, you are a blessing.
I want to thank you for helping me reconnect with my mother in her final years.

An exceptional care home. Manager and staff treat the residents as if they were their own family. It is a very good environment. My husband could not have been looked after any better. I would recommend anybody looking for a care home for a relative to try Hartshead Manor. Five-star rating.
