Have been coming to Longwood for approximately 10 years, no complaints.
Friendly and supportive staff, meals and activities OK.
Clean home.
The food is excellent, visitors are made very welcome and the atmosphere is excellent.
My room is clean and tidy.
nice to come to visit.
We visit once a week. All the staff are very friendly. They always tell us how things are with our relation.
When I rang the bell at Longwood Grange Care Home, I was greeted by a very friendly member of staff and shown into the office. There I was greeted again by more very friendly staff members, I was absolutely blown over how lovely and caring everyone was and I just knew this was the right place for dad. I was given a tour of the home, the rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. The dining room is set out nicely with tablecloths and fresh flowers on each table. The meals are fabulous too, in fact, dad has put weight on. I couldn't wish for a nicer place for dad. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone at Longwood Grange Care Home.
Longwood Grange is an excellent run care home, the staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make visitors welcome as well as taking excellent care of the residents. My mum has bad dementia and she is treated with dignity and respect from all members of staff even though she can be very difficult at times. The meals are excellent and a good varied menu.
This he did and all the staff could not have done any more for him or me during this difficult time and the way they looked after my sister and me was fantastic.
Our resident always seems well cared for, clean and tidy and happy when we visit.
I had to find a care home for my Mum as I was going into hospital. I called three homes closest to where we live and they could not oblige for various reasons. I looked at Longwood Grange and glad I did. I visited for a tour and from the start I was really impressed, this is like a 5 star hotel. The management team, staff, rooms and facilities everything was excellent. My mum had a great stay there, very well looked after while I was in my recovery time at home. The residents are happy well cared for by the professional management team and the staff. I have no hesitation of putting my Mum in Longwood Grange in the future. I hope someone puts me in there when I get old, thank you very much.
Nothing is too much for the staff, they are very good.
The staff were all right, but you had to wait a long time before someone came to take you to the toilet. Also all day long just the television and nothing else.
I can only say thank you for the way in which your staff look after my dad, it was fantastic.
All staff are excellent.
The home is warm and friendly and you are encouraged to treat it as your own, my dog is welcome and is patted and stroked by most of the residents. The care staff are kind, welcoming and have time to chat make you a drink and are really nice to my mum reassuring her and keeping her safe which was my main concern. They interact with residents combing their hair, painting nails, making them feel valued. So glad we found this home for my mum.
The facilities and care given at Longwood Grange are in my opinion very good. The staff senior and junior are caring, attentive, professional, they seem to connect with residents very well.
