Mum has been in Roberttown Care Home for 16 months now, It has had new management which has really improved things. The staff have always been good but are better now with staff training. The Seniors on duty will always tell me of any health concerns and discuss things with me discreetly if mum has or hasn't done things, the staff will let me know. Mums main carer is really good, I can ask her anything and she always responds. Since a new activities girl has come, I have noticed a big difference in Mum, she is much more engaged and interested in everything it has made a huge difference to all residents.
Thank-you very much for your positive feedback. best wishes
After dad had been in hospital for 11 weeks it was such a relief to get him settled. It was such a worry knowing which home to choose but I'm so glad we choose here. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, dad loves the meals and although he has only been here 2 weeks, it's such a relief knowing he is happy. Thank you to everyone who works there, my family and I can't thank you enough!
Thank You Joanne for your Review , i hope that we have helped in a small way to give you a peace of mind that your Dad is happy & settled and well cared for. He as come on a long way since coming to us its a real pleasure to have him here .
All the staff have helped my grandad settle in here. He is comfortable, happy and enjoying his time. He enjoys his meals and all staff are friendly and accommodating. As a family we are happy with the care he's receiving.

Feel likes we are all friends.

I stayed at the care home for just under two weeks for respite. The care was exceptional and the carers were very very good, nothing was too much trouble and they were all professional. I would especially like to thank Yvette, Shelby,Amy and Makita. Thanks also to the chefs for the excellent meals. I had an extremely positive experience and would recommend Roberttown care home to anyone.

Roberttown care home have been amazing with settling my Grandad into his new accommodation. We could not be happier with how amazing the staff and management are. Marie has been amazing with my Grandad from the moment she came out to meet him.

Staff are friendly when visiting and it is great to see how he has fitted in
Thank you for a lovely review it much appreciated , thank you
My dad went into Roberttown care home as a desperate measure due to his dementia and him wandering on a night. They have been amazing with him and with us. He has settled in really well and that is a lot down to the staff there. The activities they organise are very frequent and he gets much pleasure from them. He even dressed up as Santa at their Christmas party and was dancing with the staff. The staff are so friendly and remember your name and ask how we are doing, they care about us too. The home did need improvements when he first went into but they are altering things for the better already. We have just found out my dad can stay there permanently now and we couldn't be happier for him to spend the rest of his life at Roberttown Care Home.
Thank you Jackie for your kinds words. It's such a pleasure looking after your Dad he has become quite a character at Roberttown . I'm so happy for you all that he is able to stay with us
The team are very caring with excellent meals and a lovely choice.
Always clean and tidy and mums always dressed lovely with matching outfits.
The gardens are lovely and the staff are always happy to put mum in her wheelchair so we can take her into them.
Overall we couldn't ask for better she is very well cared for.
Thank you for taking time to review us, this is much appreciated. It is such a pleasure caring for your Mum
All the staff are caring and compassionate.
The food is of a good standard and there are varied menus everyday.
Mum is thriving and happy at the home and has a nice room with a view.
On behalf of all the team, thank-you very much for your review and for sharing your positive experience at Roberttown. Best wishes
Overall a decent experience, mum has been generally well looked after.
Staff are very good and interested in residents families however there does seem to be more agency staff than when mum arrived. This can lead to a lack of continuity in knowledge about residents needs, especially if there are medical issues ongoing.
We have noticed that staff spend a lot of time on their phones, even when there are jobs to be done, eg clearing the tables after meals, residents waiting for the bathroom etc. It doesn't give a good impression.
The food and accommodation are very good and we genuinely feel that mum is well cared for. Thank you.
Thank-you very much for your review and feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and the family feel that your dear mum is being well cared for. We acknowledge that we sometimes use agency staff to cover sickness and holidays but as part of our recent recruitment drive this is reducing...
As a family we have been pleased with the care our mother has received at Roberttown Care Home.
Thank you very much for your review. It's lovely to hear that you and the family are so pleased with the care your dear mum receives at Roberttown. We send you all our very best wishes.
She is only just starting to settle after quite a few challenging months. She does suffer from anxiety as well as dementia and hearing loss and has always liked her independence. The staff have dealt with her anxiety outbursts in a calm and positive way. They have shown great kindness and take her out for walks to distract her or engage her in conversation.
She looks forward to her meals each day and looks much more presentable than she did at home.
I cannot fault the care given to Mom by all the staff.
Thank you very much for your review and kind words. We are delighted that your mum has settled into Roberttown and is enjoying the mealtimes! Best wishes.
Our client received respite care while his wife enjoyed a well earned break. He really enjoyed his time in the home telling me the staff were all really friendly and caring, he had a nice view from his room across the valley and he really enjoyed the food and said he would definitely go back for further respite stays.
Hello Nick and thank you very much for your review. We are delighted that your client enjoyed his stay with us so much and that his wife used the respite period to benefit from a well earned break. He is very welcome to come back and stay with us again anytime! Best wishes.
My father-in-law was really struggling at home and in urgent need of twenty-four hour care. We looked at a few different homes, but were struck by how welcoming and well organised the staff were at Roberttown. My father-in-law was immediately made to feel welcome and, from the first day, we felt as though a huge weight had been lifted, knowing he was being well looked after by caring staff. He was quite reluctant to go in, because of previous experience elsewhere, but he soon settled in. He has now been in three weeks and he admits the staff are all lovely. Whenever he is upset about anything, they are so patient and work with him to overcome his problems. He is very old and wants to stay in bed all day, which isn't good for him, so the staff have their hands full just getting him out of bed without a lot of complaining from him! We can visit anytime and we are made to feel so welcome whenever we go, this means a lot to us. Thank you.
Thank you for your review of Roberttown Care Home. We are honoured that you chose us as a care provider for your father-in-law and we're glad to know that he felt welcomed and settled in quickly. Your visits are always warmly welcomed and we're grateful for your trust in us. Thank you for sharing your positive experience. Kind regards.
When we needed them in an emergency, Roberttown Care Home came to our rescue. They've helped us arrange emergency respite for our dear client, whilst we focused on getting his wife better. The staff were amazing, chatting to him and making him feel calm and relaxed. Each day we've been updated on how he is settling and feel more than reassured he's in good hands. Staff instantly helped us feel reassured they were able to support him, especially as he's nonverbal. The senior staff helped him settle and even got his favourite snacks to help him feel more at home. Such compassion and empathy was clearly shown by everyone we saw. Lovely little home and fabulous staff.
Thank you for your wonderful review of Roberttown Care Home! We are delighted that we could be there for you in an emergency and provide excellent support for your client. Your kind words mean a lot to us and we appreciate your recognition of our lovely home and fabulous staff. Thank you for choosing Roberttown Care Home. Kind Regards.
I do not live nearby, I have peace of mind knowing my mother is safe and well looked after at Roberttown.
When I visit all the staff I come into contact with are welcoming.
There are activities organised for residents to join in with if they wish.
The staff always have time to answer any questions I may have and they let me know of any changes in my mothers health by phone or email.
Thank you, A G, for taking the time to leave a review for Roberttown. It is great to know that you have peace of mind regarding your mother's care and we appreciate your kind words about the team. Best wishes.
As Mum's illness progressed, the team dealt with her behaviour in a very professional and caring way. The manager is outstanding and a real credit to the company, and the team she has surrounded herself with is professional, caring and worth their weight in gold.
Would I recommend Roberttown? The manager in charge (not allowed to say her name, but she knows who she is), of course, I would. Thank you for caring for our mum in her final days... all of you.
Hello Julie, thank you so much for your lovely review. It is very comforting to know that we helped to make the process of choosing a care home for your dear mum a little bit easier for you during a very difficult time. We will pass on your kind comments to the manager and to the rest of the team and on behalf of us all thank you once again and best wishes to you and the family.
Mum was having renovation work which happened at the last minute. The care home had a spare room so mum stayed for two weeks. She has unspecified dementia and a strong personality. She enjoyed her stay and the staff recognised and challenged her bad temper at times. Mum did enjoy her time and enjoyed being with the staff and having her meals with the other people.
Thank you for your kind words and review about the home. We are glad that your mum enjoyed her time with us and we hope she can come and stay again in the future.
