All of the care staff and management really do have the resident's best interests at heart and it clearly shows. After a lengthy two-month stay in hospital without a bath or a shower..the care team showered her the very next morning. I'd especially like to thank the senior carer and home manager who went above and beyond this weekend to support me with a difficult situation that they quickly resolved!
Communication from the management team have been excellent. The food was presented well and the portion size were more than enough for her. She says the food tasted home-cooked and was lovely. As a family, we can not thank you enough for all of your help.
The care staff are a credit to this home.
Thank you for your kind review and we are delighted about how you feel about the home and the team. I will ensure your feedback is passed on to the team and manager.
The ratings provided are based on our initial assessment as Mum has only been there 24 hours it impossible to provide any view on the services moving forward.
We are pleased to hear that you have had positive interactions with the home manager, and that you are happy with the home after visiting and assessing the needs of your mum. We are glad that your mum has had a positive experience so far and hope she has settled in well. Thank you for your kind review.
A home run by a care home manager who is genuinely passionate about the residents and the delivery of care. This approach is seen also with the staff who deliver the care needed to the best of their ability, despite the extreme difficulties faced throughout the covid pandemic. Covid procedures were strict, which was reassuring with tests carried out on visitors on every occasion, prior to entry. All in all, more than happy.
Thank you for your kind review. We will ensure that the manager is aware of your lovely comments and also how happy you are.

It was supposed to be a two-week respite and my father was removed from this place after two days with a UTI and a fractured pelvis. I could write a lot more and especially about individuals, who actually need singling out, but in the Top Tips it states that I can't, but they know who they are and they need to be removed. I will also be taking this further with the Head Office of Advinia and CQC because how this place gets a "Good" makes a mockery of the whole rating process.
Dear Jamie, thank you for taking the time to review the home. I understand you have been liaising with the Divisional Director around your comments in order to discuss this all further.
My father lived in Roberttown for four years until his death in June this year. Roberttown is a lovely, homely place, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is always calm and welcoming. Dad really got involved with activities and particularly enjoyed anything related to singing/dancing; he was very happy there and extremely well cared for in every way. The meals always smelled delicious too. The manager and the team are first class.
On behalf of all of the staff, we are very sorry for the loss of your father. We are pleased to know that he received a good level of care from the staff in the home, and it is rewarding for us to know that he enjoyed taking part in the activities, and most of all, that he was happy. Thank you for your kind review.
We have used Roberttown Care Home for respite care for my mum twice now, mum and myself have felt the care and support from all the friendly caring staff absolutely fantastic. My mum felt happy and relaxed and very well looked after her stay. Many thanks to everyone at Robert town care home.
Putting a loved one into the care system is always a worry for a family, especially when Mum initially found it difficult to settle. With the care and compassion shown by the management team, staff and family, she has settled well into her routine. Any slight problems identified by either the staff or us as a family are resolved promptly.
Thank you for your kind review; we are always delighted at the positive feedback and that the team have helped mum settle into a routine and help with all of your concerns that may be raised.
My mum has been in Roberttown Care Home now for over four years. Unfortunately over the last two weeks she has had a rapid deterioration in her condition which has been very distressing for the whole family. During this time we have been visiting regularly, but as well as this I have been getting twice daily updates both via email and by telephone from the care home manager which has been very comforting for us. The carers have all been fantastic with their care for mum, and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to caring for mum and making her feel comfortable, safe and cared for during this difficult time. We cannot thank them enough - I would highly recommend this care home to anyone for their loved ones.
Thank you for your kind review and we are happy to hear about the communication from the home and the team regarding your mum. I will pass your comments on to the home.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are forthcoming with updates and helpful when this get more difficult.
I would have no worries recommending this care home to anyone.
Thank you for your kind words and we are very happy that you feel your mum has been well supported, there are a lot of lovely comments regarding the team, so will ensure that the home manager and team are aware.
We attended this home and it was lovely to be greeted by care staff who were extremely on the ball. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Residents appeared comfortable and well looked after. Thank you for a lovely visit.
Thank you for your kind review, it is lovely that your feel this way about the home
The staff could not be more supportive, providing all care with empathy in a professional manner. One of the staff sat with mum on her first day to comfort her after the ordeal of the transfer from the hospital until we arrived. We are always made welcome when we visit and are kept up to date about her progress and any issues at visits or by phone. The care home manager is very hands-on and will always make herself available if we have any questions or require support. The home's individual rooms, communal areas, gardens and parking area are spotless while still keeping that homely feeling. If I am ever in a position to require extra care and support I would be happy to stay at Robberttown Care Home.
Thank you for your kind review and we are glad you are happy with the home. We will ensure the team and manager in the home are made aware of the positive feedback you have provided and thank you again.
They have lots of entertainment, including arts and crafts, pampering sessions and games.
Would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a cosy, caring environment for their loved ones.
I'm always impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the manager and all her team either when they contact me directly or I'm calling for updates. Nothing seems too much trouble for the team and they genuinely seem to care about the residents. Prior to lockdown I witnessed some great interaction between colleagues and residents and know that the team at Roberttown have been working extra hard in lockdown to keep everyone connected.
My mum had been in care at Roberttown on and off for the last few months, starting in respite but is now there permanently. At all times the staff have been brilliant with Mum. They have looked after her and made her feel welcome. This has been so reassuring for my family and I to know that she is in a happy, very hygienic place, with great staff around her.
The team headed by the manager are a credit to the caring profession.
Every situation has been dealt with compassionately and professionally.
Thank you.
The staff in this care home provided our relative with outstanding care whilst staying with them. Support was shown to our relative and us as a family going through an extremely upsetting time. I cannot thank the staff and manager enough.
Thank you so much for your positive comments regarding our colleagues, which will be greatly appreciated. I am so proud of how our colleagues have dealt with the pressures that Covid has brought to ensure our residents receive the highest standards of care.
A very welcoming, friendly and professionally run care home. Our dear sister appears to have really settled very well into the home and feels secure and comfortable. She appears happier than she has been for a long time. Many thanks to the dedicated team (new family to our sister) led by the manager.

When we visit, we are always made welcome, and the staff are very friendly. They provided us with drinks and a blanket and chair for my elderly mother when we did an outside visit (window). If they give this sort of attention and care to the residents, I am sure that they will be very happy and well looked after.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your Mum. Your kind words are really appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the dedicated and caring Roberttown team.
I visited my mum today and it was absolutely brilliant, to be able to sit down with her and talk properly, was wonderful and it meant the world to my mum too . I would also like to thank all the staff who made today's visit so special for me and my mum.
Thank you all.
Our mother recently moved into the care home after a spell in hospital/intermediary care. The manager was extremely helpful when we were making the choice for her new home, especially given that we could not visit due to covid. Since moving in the staff have been so kind and caring, making the transition as easy as it possibly could be. Nothing is too much trouble. Communication to the family has been excellent both verbally and by email. All in all, we feel that our mother is going to be very happy in her new home,
