All of the carers are kind and considerate and go above and beyond to ensure that my husband is clean shaven and his hair cut on a regular basis. The care home is always clean and well maintained.
She has received amazing care from carers, caterers , admin staff and everyone at Aberford. She has settled in far better than we expected and is now thriving rather than just surviving as she was before. Thank you and well done everyone.
My mum has only been here about a month and has settled very well. The staff are all lovely and provide great care for my mum. She loves the food and everything about the home. Fabulous.
I am the sister in law of John, and since John has been here, he's been very happy enjoying the activities and joins in whenever he can. The meals are lovely, and John enjoys them. He's even put weight on. Nothing is too much, there is always someone on hand to help. I would recommend this home to anybody.
I could not think of a better place for my dad to be looked after. The staff are exceptional with his care. He has settled in really well. The smile on his face when he sees a member of staff says it all.
I have been incredibly impressed with the care and consideration given to my mum by all of the staff, especially Michelle, Carl and Lynne. She has improved remarkably, eating well and joining other residents in the dining room.
Everyone was very welcoming to me and my friends. We had a lovely afternoon with my friend, we sat out in the garden as it's been a lovely sunny afternoon. Carl was very helpful and pleasant.
My husband goes for respite 3 times a year, he absolutely loves going and gives me a break. I never receive any phone calls from him while he is there. I can't praise the staff enough, from Michelle the manager down to the cleaner, each and every one deserve a medal!
Staff were always happy to help and were respectful to us as a family, allowing us to spend Mum's final hours with her, they ensured she was comfortable at all times.
I was really concerned about moving my mother and father into a home. I could not have been more wrong! The care and love they receive at Aberford Hall is wonderful. I visit nearly everyday at various time and I have not seen anything other than love and care. Thank you to everyone there who looks after my precious parents xx
Mum is happy here and all the staff are lovely, approachable and most of all caring.
Mum is happy with her room and most of all the care they provide. They have taken the time to get to know Mum and I can see this has helped enormously in her settling in. Many thanks!
Within them weeks she was made welcome from day 1 and enjoyed the activities.
She said she felt cared for and enjoyed chatting with the staff.
During her last few days I cannot express enough how amazing the care was to both my aunt and family members.
Nothing was an issue for them and all requests were dealt with in a timely and efficient way.
The manager appeared to have an open door policy and took time to listen to the family.
Aberford Hall has totally changed my perception of nursing homes and I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing home.
They are a first class team and I will be forever grateful
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a positive review of our home at this difficult time, please accept our sincere condolences to you and your family. We will ensure your kind words are shared with the team. Thank you again for your review
After visiting other care homes I decided along with my daughter, this was showing us it was the best. All staff are brilliant and very caring, we were shown around by the manager, and she answered every question and put our minds at ease. The family wanted excellent care for our sister as she had suffered badly at her previous address. This is an excellent home with very caring staff. So very happy indeed that we chose this care home, my sister is also a lot happier too "I would recommend".
Great happy place.
Absolutely over the moon we managed to get my husband in this wonderful place. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the staff are amazing and always put the residents first. We knew it was going to be the place when we rang up to see if we could have a look around and the manager said 'When do you want to come, now, in an hour, it's totally up to you'. Nothing to hide there we thought.
In my experience, the staff work hard to cater for the residents.
In our experience with other care/nursing homes, we believe Aberford Hall Care Home is an excellent, outstanding home. It has a warm, caring professionalism from top to bottom. The staff are all first class in their attention to the resident's needs, great patience and care led by an excellent manager!
From first arriving at Aberford home to look around I could honestly tell immediately we'd found a hidden gem. I can tell from meeting the staff, looking around and being made to feel so welcome, that it was the perfect home for my dad and I am still to this day hugely thankful for all the care and support given to my dad by the staff team. Aberford Hall is such a person-centred environment which is well-led and has most importantly a homely and clean feel to it.
The staff are wonderfully patient with all the residents and their respective families. Nothing is too much for them. They are very respectful.
We have been so happy with the care our relative has received at Aberford. The consistency of staff has made a big difference, allowing a real family feel, and ensuring we get an honest and caring picture of our relative's condition and can trust that they are in safe hands. Thank you for all you do.
