My mum spent the last four months of her life here, she was very well looked after, treated with respect and dignity. She said the food was great and enjoyed every meal. The room she was in was very nice and she was really comfortable. All the staff and nurses were very good, I can't speak highly enough of everyone who looked after her.

I am extremely happy with my choice of nursing home for a permanent residence for my husband. The wonderful team of dedicated staff provide a caring compassionate and professional environment for residents with a range of specific needs. My husband feels very much part of a family. Enjoying his own personal space which contains his own possessions. He is very much enjoying the range of stimulating activities and is delighted that he is able to grow vegetables which he is hoping everyone can benefit from. How impressed I am with the changes happening. Residents and famalies views are listened to and many new ideas have already been implemented which will further enhance the lives of our loved ones. He loves it here.

I am so pleased with the care home. The staff are a credit to Victoria House, and I mean all staff right through to gardener, kitchen, laundry, admin, carers, nurses, managers, sorry if I missed anyone out. My mum's been there 4 years now to say I was thinking I was going to loser her the first week. Mums looking really well. All staff went out extra mile at Xmas. Keep up the good work.

I have found this home to be of an exceptionally high standard. From first assessing my friend's needs to her coming to live here, the kindness, the care and compassion shown has been second to none. The staff all seem very dedicated to making her life as comfortable and happy as possible. Each time I visit, I witness how residents and staff interact and see genuine care and warmth. My friend is well looked after and safe; this, in turn, helps us to accept that she can no longer be at home with us. Having visited many care facilities, I can say this is by far the best I've ever been in/to.

Through the 2 years my dad was here I have absolutely no complaints at all. The staff cared for my dad like his own family and despite his complex needs they spent time to help him be the best version of himself and and made him smile again. The dietary, nursing and care needs were all met and dad was clean and well groomed at all times. His room was lovely and was a home from home.

My mum received end of life care here for one week. My family visited daily and was always greeted with smiles and offers of tea. The staff were always friendly, helpful and caring. Mum was treated with dignity and compassion. Her room was clean, airy and so much quieter than hospital. She has a big bed with cosy throws and seemed peaceful. When she passed away we felt we had been lucky to have found such a wonderful place to end her days.

My wife has lived in the Home for nearly three years. Her care is provided in a very kind, loving, patient and compassionate way. The Home communicates regularly with me if there are any issues and all staff working these are very friendly making me hot drinks when I visit and chatting to me about any aspects of her care. The environment is very caring with good continuity of staff and high standards maintained by the Manager. I am reassured by the clinical knowledge of the registered nursing staff and my wife benefits from being part of the local Hospital 'virtual ward' concept having access to Consultants. I have recently moved my sister in law into the home and she is now benefitting from the loving care provided. My heartfelt thanks to all the staff for everything you do for my relatives.

Very friendly and welcoming staff who have so much time for you. They all show care and compassion to the job they are doing and they look after the residents/service users like they are family. The home had a lovely welcoming feel to it and felt more than happy that my friend was being very well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much to all the staff who went out of their way to look after the guests and visitors while tending to the care and needs of the residents/service users.
