The management and staff at Victoria House treated my mum so well and she had the best care for the last couple of months of her life. The staff always communicated with me because I live in another country and they would take the phone to her so I could talk to my mum.
Everyone was very kind when
she passed away and helped with all the information I needed.

I cannot recommend this nursing home enough. It is amazing, from cleanliness to staff they make family and friends feel welcome. I have never been in a nursing home like it, so caring and loving. I cannot recommend the staff too highly at the home. The atmosphere was top class, warm, efficient and friendly. All one could hope for in the field of care.

The care that residents receive in this care home is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The carers go the extra mile it's unbelievable. Everybody makes you feel part of one big happy family.

A good friend of my wife’s family moved to Victoria House in only November this year for end of life care after a short stay in another care home where we feel they were not able to provide the care she needed or deserved.
All the staff at Victoria House treated her with great affection and adding
to that an outstanding level of care and I truly mean that.
My wife and I were always very impressed by the feeling of warmth shown by the staff to the residents and the personal attention they give to each and every one of them, with the family also not missing out on that.
Our good family friend recently passed peacefully with two members of staff by her side still giving her hugs etc as always. I cannot recommend Victoria House highly enough. Thank you all for taking great care of her during her short stay with you ensuring her last weeks were as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.

Cannot fault Victoria House. From the first day, our loved one became a resident there. The staff made us feel really welcome. They treat every resident with the love, care, respect and dignity they deserve. We lost our loved in November and the support the family received from all the staff was lovely.
I would not think twice about any of my loved ones residing in Victoria House, because we knew that when we left our loved one after visiting them, they would be well looked after. The staff treat everyone like one of their own family, and that means a lot.

My Aunt became a resident at Victoria House in January 2018 and sadly passed away in January 2019. She had exceptional care. All the staff, including the manager, nurses, carers, domestic team, chef, OT, hairdresser and admin are devoted to the residents. They show such loving kindness and patience.
My Aunt died with dignity. I can't thank them enough.

Premises clean and tidy. Residents always dressed with care. Premises warm and comfortable. Food excellent. Staff very friendly and caring to residents.

When looking for a home for my dad, as soon as we walked into Victoria House it felt really homely and right. My Dad is there for End of Life Care and we feel we couldn't have chosen anywhere better. It is a shame he didn't go there earlier to be able to enjoy all they have to offer. All the staff are
lovely and really caring and also supportive of us. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Victoria House to others. Thank you.

Couldn't wish for better care and understanding from staff - from management to cleaners - all showed the utmost respect towards us as a family. They gave Dad his dignity and cared for him like he was family.

My husband spent the final two weeks of his life at Victoria House. He could not have received better care, more attention, better nursing anywhere. His family were treated with care and respect and I myself was made to feel at ease and able to leave him in the evenings knowing that he was comfortable,
pain-free and very contented. The manager and staff could not have done anything more.

I moved my Aunt to Victoria House as her previous care home stopped nursing care.
The daughter of a friend of my wife and I recommended this care home to us.
On our visit to meet the manager, we discovered a happy, smiling set of carers.
We had no hesitation in moving my Aunt here and she ended her
days in the company of extremely caring and compassionate members of staff.
I would have no hesitation in giving Victoria House a first-class recommendation.

I live in Dubai and it brings me great comfort to know my grandmother is so well looked after. Before moving to Victoria House, she was depressed, highly vulnerable and isolated. Now she is safe, interacts with others and generally her well being has improved. The staff treat residents like family and
never make you feel unwelcome when you visit, always making time to update you even though they are clearly busy. Victoria House is always clean and never smells, which is something, unfortunately, that happens at other care homes I have visited. The staff have so much positive energy. It really is a great place for my grandma to live and I can't thank the staff enough for all the do for my grandma in my absence.

The care and love that my mother in law receives from the staff at this care home is exemplary. We could not ask for more and we definitely could not nurse her as well at home. We really appreciate everything that is done for her to keep her safe, well and happy in her final years.

Victoria House team are very special from carers, kitchen, tea ladies, managers and owners all make the residents happy to be there. The looks given from them to the carers are full of admiration and respect. Games, music and laughter between both and the same attention given to visitors. Lots of homes
get bad attention which is upsetting. But not ALL homes are the same. Victoria House to my family are simply the best

I visit my mum frequently and I often sit for an hour or more at each visit, and I see quite a lot of the staff and the manager, I notice how they interact with the residents and family members.
I know a lot of nursing and residential homes get a lot of bad press, but my review of Victoria House and
the staff means so much to me, as I entrust my mum into their care, I have no doubts about leaving her, as I know the staff from watching and listening to how they treat them with kindness, dignity and respect, but mostly as a person who matters to each of the staff.
I can't praise them enough.

My husband was transferred from a care home (now requiring nursing care) mid-April. He is well cared for and content. The care and kindness cannot be faulted. I feel completely happy when I leave him in their care. I visit most days and everyone has made us as a family very welcome.

All the team go out of their way to make visitors welcome. They show care and compassion for residents way above providing the basic care they need. The team make the effort to really get to know the residents and treat them as individuals with dignity. They provide a wide range of activities to suit
