The care home was carefully chosen due to the resistance of our mother staying in one. Our mother always insisted she stayed in her own home but sadly this wasn't to be. However, this care home provides everything and so much more than our mother would ever have had in her own home. The staff are wonderful,
caring and kindly spoken, everything is kept lovely (just how my mother would have kept her own home) no smell!


Clarendon Hall is run well with a calmness amongst the business of running such a place. This type of care/care home is the type of establishment your loved one can be left safely with love and support 24 hours. Excellent.

My friend and I came along to Clarendon Hall Care Home for a free lunch on Wednesday (we had seen the flyer in our community hall). It was lovely, we got shown around the home by a lovely lady. I go every week to get my hair done there.

From the administration to the carers, I could not fault the level of care provided and gave the last few months of my mother's life the respect and dignity it deserved. Excellent service. Thank you with all my heart to Clarendon Hall Care Home.

Clarendon Hall is a well-established care home which has recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. It provides good care on a residential and nursing level. Service users are treated with dignity and respect. Food is varied and nutritional sound. From the moment you enter the building you
are made welcome and feel at home. Everyone is helpful, friendly and it creates a family atmosphere. Rooms are clean and spacious. There is also lots of varied activities for you to join in. Strongly recommend.

My father spent the last months of his life in the excellent care of the above nursing home. My family cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care given to our father.
Staff worked as a team to reassure us and tend to our father's needs, morning, noon and night.
Our initial arrival with dad
was at 9.30pm one evening (having come from A&E) and he received a warm welcome who immediately settled dad into their care. Record keeping was excellent, individual care plan was maintained and adjusted when necessary. We felt part of their "family" be it the cleaning staff, laundry staff right up to management. Thank you so much.

My mother has only been in the home for one month but I feel she has settled in quite well. She gets on well with all staff and the activity is excellent. There is only one thing she is finding hard. That is, first thing in a morning she likes to be up and dressed early. This does not always happen
and she has shed a few tears over this. We know you are busy but Mum does not understand this.

I come to Clarendon Hall on a regular basis. Both mum and dad came into Clarendon a year apart from each other. Both coming in very poorly. The difference from when they first came is amazing. The carers have been fantastic with them, and mum and dad are very settled. Management have been excellent
and any questions are answered if needed. Like 1 big happy family :)

Nan was in Clarendon Hall, see a massive improvement in herself. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Assistance when needed. Always a staff member to answer any questions. Very happy my nan was a resident at Clarendon Hall.

Since mum was admitted she has now started to walk again. Her observation of activities in the home is enjoyed by herself. (She doesn't miss much) She enjoys joining in the interactions with staff. She obviously has trust in staff as she has no hesitation in doing activities asked by them with regard
to moving and walking.
