My mum seemed very well cared for and happy. The staff are brilliant. They have always been helpful and supportive. As I live abroad it is not always easy but three members of staff always make sure I get through on the phone to Mum. Thank you for your positive interactions with Mum and I.

My mother was only a resident for eleven days coming from a care home that said they could no longer meet her needs due to her aggressive behaviour.

The care she received from the nurses and carers at Belmont, one carer, in particular, was exemplary. I was kept informed at all times, and when she died, both my mother and I were treated with kindness, dignity, respect and love. I couldn't speak highly enough of Belmont House and only wish she had been in their care longer.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. No trouble at all. Providing regular updates to us and doing anything they can to help. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a great care home and the staff are just as great!

My husband has been in Belmont House since April and I have to say he has some lovely staff looking after him. He now has his powered wheelchair with him, and we regularly meet in the coffee lounge.

There have been a few restrictions recently, but everyone is doing their bit to keep infection at bay. Of course, I wish my hubby was at home, but the home is in his childhood village and he goes out with family and his chair allows him to get around easier. I’m pleased he’s adjusting to life n the care home, and I’m happy that he is settling in so well. Many thanks to ALL the staff at Belmont House.

We have watched Dad flourish at Belmont, and it's clear he is part of a community with a family feel. When visiting, we can see the lovely way staff interact with him, and to see him laugh and smile warms our hearts. It feels like the staff have really taken the time to get to know Dad, and we can't thank them enough for what they do.

Just before the start of the New Year, my Mum-in-law, already frail, both physically and mentally, began to move towards the end of her life. She was very poorly.
I was a frequent visitor, so was able to notice the care that was given to her by the staff. She was treated with great tenderness. She was spoken to gently, if she needed/wanted food or drink, there was infinite patience, this, despite the often difficult situation because of having to use agency staff.
Mum-in-law died quietly on 24th January. I am sure that, had she been cared for by her family, the standard could not have been bettered.

Thank you to all involved.

I went into Belmont House after open-heart surgery as I live alone. I had to self isolate so only saw the inside of my room and the staff who looked after me. I was treated very well by everyone at Belmont House.

I have found that all the staff are very friendly, caring and kind to my mother and treat her with the dignity she deserves. They try their best to meet all her needs, which can be difficult at times! Her medication is always dispensed on time and there is usually a friendly chat to accompany the medicine. The accommodation is super clean and smells really fresh. The entertainment is appropriate for her generation, she knows and likes most of the songs! Mother hasn't got much of an appetite, even though the food is superb and the carers will tempt her with food such as ice cream, soups or smoothies, ensuring she does not go hungry. Throughout this current pandemic the home has kept up very tight standards of security, ensuring the residents safety and security without compromising their comfort and emotional well-being. We have found the management and staff extremely understanding and sympathetic through some difficult times and we, as a family, are very grateful for their support.

My father had vascular dementia, and when Mum could no longer manage to care for him at home, we found a place for him at Belmont House. He was only there a few months and passed away in November. However, during this time, his care was exemplary. We could not visit for much of the time he was there because of the pandemic. However, the staff were always so kind and when speaking to them over the phone, both Mum and I was confident in the level of care he was receiving. The facilities are excellent as well. A real home for residents.

My mother finally went into care suffering with advanced Alzheimer's in February. I had managed to keep her at home for 4 years as this was her wish, however she became unsafe. I felt so guilty as I had reluctantly betrayed her wishes. However, it became very obvious from day 1 that mum was in the right place with the right people. I cannot fault the home, the management, the admin and the whole staff. They are totally professional, loving, compassionate, hardworking and patient. Now I feel assured that mum is as safe as she be anywhere and I am proud to be associated with Belmont House.

My mum was looked after in Springwater from December 2018 until her passing in February 2020. The care from the staff was wonderful. They were attentive without being intrusive and encouraged and supported Mum throughout, especially when she was in end of life care. They also supported our whole family during this difficult time. We would recommend anyone in a similar situation to choose Belmont. They really were like an extended family.

Cannot fault the staff, facilities, the politeness by everybody. Cannot do enough. Wish I had found this place the first time my wife went into care. Although she has dementia, she has come on immensely and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

Found all the staff to be friendly, kind and very caring in looking after my wife. Daily activities being so varied enable my wife to be part of the "community". Although she needs help with the physical aspects, this is always on hand.
