Nightingale Hall

My mother has been with you nearly 2 years and she was very happy. Staff were fantastic with her. Her last couple of days we could not faulter the staff very attentive and caring. Not just with my mother but with us all as a family. Thank you to everyone at Nightingale have for everything you have done it is much appreciated.

Soon after settling dad into Nightingale Hall he had a medical issue. unfortunately I was unable to get there but staff were amazing at keeping him safe and me informed at every step of the way in what was a stressful situation. One of the staff even stayed 4 1/2 hours after her shift ended to ensure continuity of care and support for dad and us. Sadly he had to go into hospital but staff again were supportive of myself, mum and dad both during the incident and afterwards as a local paramedic I cannot recommend this care home highly enough.

My uncle has now been a resident at Nightingale Hall Care Home for almost three months. Initially, he intended to transition to a supported living arrangement, but his experience at Nightingale has led him to change his mind and embrace a long-term stay. The care he has received is nothing short of fantastic, and he often expresses his gratitude for the genuine kindness and respect shown by the staff. My uncle thrives on company, and he is never short of it here. Despite the staff's busy schedules, they always make a point to stop by his room for a friendly chat or to simply check in on him. This personal touch has made a significant difference in his daily life. The staff have worked diligently to integrate him with other residents, encouraging him to join them for meals in the dining room which he now does happily. Their attentiveness and professionalism shine through, as they ensure that every resident feels safe, comfortable, and valued.

My experience of Nightingale Care Home is entirely positive. My father was extremely well looked after both from the point of view of his health but also his personal well being. The team were thoughtful, attentive and supportive, not only to my dad but also to me at what was a stressful time. All of the arrangements from initial viewing to nurses/ GP appointments etc were handled promptly and clearly. The team went out of their way to keep me informed of every aspect of dad's stay at the care home and I really can't rate them highly enough - they had unlimited patience and nothing was too much trouble for them. The thing I was most happy about was that they treated Dad as an individual and went out of their way to find out about his life so that they could chat to him about things that were important to him - he really couldn't have been happier and this was a man who was extremely independent and intent on staying so. Finally it may be a small thing but the food was fantastic!

When he was bedridden it was difficult for him he was blind and deaf and needed full attention to care for him. The carers did their job's efficiently and were bright and cheerful for him. Towards the end they were very caring and did everything they could to make him comfortable. I would certainly recommend nightingale hall

I will be forever grateful to the amazing NH staff.

All aspects of the home were gold standard clean every time we visited. Mum was suffering with eczema and not eating properly when she went in, but the staff ensured that her creams and tablets were given - without fail - at the appropriate time. Her dietary requirements were accommodated - nothing was too much trouble at all. I had hoped mum would want to stay permanently, however, it was not to be currently, but I am hoping that as and when that time comes, Nightingale Hall has a room available. I cannot thank the staff at Nightingale Hall and the Wellburn Care Homes enough.

Nothing is ever too much trouble. Staff are all friendly and caring not only to residents, but also to other family members. Everything is always clean and to a high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend the home to.anyone needing care in Richmond and the lower dales area

All the staff at the care home were very kind and thoughtful regarding anything to do with my dad and his care. They showed respect to him and encouraged him to continue to do what he could for himself. They were extremely helpful when we moved some of his personal possessions up to the care home and they made his time with them as good as it could have been. When my dad passed away, some of the staff attended his funeral which was very much appreciated.

I would certainly recomend Nightingale Hall. The manager has a fab team of caring staff from the top to the bottom. There was always a cup of tea offered while visiting and the food always smelt fresh and appetising. The staff were always proffesional and had a warm, happy approach. They also had an entertainment programe for anyone who wanted to attend. Staff there came across very proffesional.

My husband was given great care whilst in NH. He was treated with dignity and respect. The support also shown to me and his family was wonderful.

I moved my mother to live at Nightingale Hall in 2024. I was very impressed on my first visit and that didn't change in the time she lived there. The care and communication were first class. She had fun whilst living there and was happy. When it was her time to leave us, the staff were with her round the clock. Very empathetic and always professional. A lovely place to visit and I will be popping in again.

I cannot praise the staff at Nightingale Hall enough for their care and compassion looking after my Mother (and me) from the very first to the very last day. The management were so understanding of our situation, the care staff treated us with the utmost respect and the cleaning staff went above and beyond to make my Mothers stay as comfortable as possible. There were joyful and hilarious times with all members of staff but respect shown was second to none. Thank you all.

While mum was in Nightingale Hall, we could relax and know that she would be contented and well cared for. Thank you.

My mum arrived in Nightingale Hall in July 2022. She settled well and I was happy with her care. The staff are caring and I did not have any complaints regarding her care. She died on 08/10/2024.

My mother-in-law was admitted as a full-time resident in 2023. Nightingale became her home and she loved all the staff that cared for her. Unfortunately, due to circumstances we had to move her and hope she is as happy at her new home as she was here. We were very sad to have to move her after a year here.
