My wife spent two weeks at Nightingale Hall to give me some respite (she has Alzheimer's). She has become quite introverted over the last two years and so did not get involved with other residents even though the staff did their best to encourage her, so I can't comment on the activities. The whole atmosphere at the home gave me confidence that my wife would be well looked after and cared for. This proved to be the case and I will quite happily leave her there in the future.

Mum was very happy living at Nightingale Hall and loved all the staff who were equally loving and kind towards her. She was treated as an individual, with great care, consideration and respect. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, so obviously always extremely busy but who always made the time to be helpful and friendly. They were skilled and thorough, Mum's room was kept clean, the laundry was well taken care of, the food was good and there was an amazing range of activities. I could praise so many more aspects but hopefully, this short review expresses the extremely high opinion I hold. Thank you so much to everyone at Nightingale Hall.

My mother was admitted to Nightingale Hall following a fall initially as a respite resident. She is now permanent after just four weeks of exceptional care. Nightingale is clean, bright and welcoming with good food and excellent staff. The staff all know where my mother is, what mood she is in and how she has been doing. They are unfailingly jolly and caring. What more could you wish for?

Nightingale Hall staff gave Dad the best care possible and this includes every member of staff. They treated him with respect and dignity, and he spoke very highly of all the staff. They helped him enjoy the last years of his life. He was taken out into the garden if weather permitted and encouraged to join in with activities. We, as a family, cannot thank everyone enough at Nightingale Hall for the care he received.

All the staff at Nightingale loved my mum. Mum had a happy three years up until her death on the 24th of January 2024. The staff were amazing. I have nothing but gratitude for their love and careful stop she was really happy for her entire stay and felt like she was 'at home' or 'on a cruise'!

My wife was placed in Nightingale Hall at Richmond, I was worried after visiting other homes that were very off-putting, when I arrived it was a pleasant shock my wife was in a five star hotel, I told the staff my name and everyone knew who I was. My wife's condition made for extra work, this was met by staff, sadly we lost our daughter to cancer, the care and compassion we got was very good, I was allowed to stay day and nights in my wife's final days. After all my doubts of care homes, I am proud my wife passed in comfort, sadly I am going to miss the friendship of the staff.

My father was cared for with respect, compassion and love. As he reached the end of his life, his comfort and peace were the priorities, as were mine. I have learned a lot about the end of life from the staff and have experienced that, although the final goodbye is sad, it is natural and can still be joyous. At Nightingale Hall, we were shown that it is possible to smile through our tears.

As my dad would say 'It's like a 5-star hotel'. He loved the carers, who would sing his favourite songs that he played. My dad felt safe, comfortable and happy, which is more than money can buy. Thank you for taking such good care of my dad until the very end.

The care my father has had since arriving has been 100% first-class. The nurses, carers and caterers all show great respect to my dad, they can't do enough for him. As in many cases, I have never had a parent go into a home before and all the staff have made Dad's and my own transition easier. The cleanliness of his room and the entire home is spotless.

My mother was transferred to Nightingale Hall from another home and we instantly found a difference in standards. It was as if she had moved to the top of the league. The standards are high at Nightingale, the staff are lovely but also very professional. From the moment we were shown around, the feeling was all the boxes had been ticked. The manager was brilliant and again very professional. My mum settled very well and her health has now improved as well. We are very pleased with the situation all around.

Big thanks to all staff, as everyone who has been involved in my sister's care have been wonderful with her and myself. Real genuine care. They kept in touch with myself and the hospital for updates when she was in there recently due to a fall and have really tried hard to keep her comfortable on her return. They couldn't do more.

My dad came to live at Nightingale Hall due to failing health and was very upset the first evening, the care staff were brilliant with him. He settled so quickly after that and loved to have a joke with the staff. He really enjoyed his time there and he especially loved the food.

Nightingale Hall Care Home is a suberbly run home, staffed by caring, loving staff. I count my mother as very lucky to be a resident there, and I know that she feels cared for, loved and very safe. The food is lovely and very plentiful with lots of treats from gin and tonic to cake. I would not want my mother to be anywhere else.

Staff are welcoming and polite.
Always have time for my mother, although not this year, when the transmitter was down a member os staff gave her access to her streaming account so she could watch TV. If I'm visiting when the trolley comes round. I'm always offered a tea or coffee.

My mother's room is always very clean.
