I find the staff to be friendly and helpful, the premises are well maintained and kept clean at all times, the activities are varied and more is being done to improve these.
The lounge where they all sit is very pleasant and light, a relaxing place for them.

I feel very confident my Mum is receiving very good care, for which I am very grateful.

We are very pleased with the management, most of the staff are fantastic. The hairdresser and her daughter are so lovely with mam. Since the new manager has arrived, there has been some good changes, for example, the lounge has a better layout of seats so they can talk to each other. Another good thing is that the manager writes everything down and gets things done. He also speaks to everyone rather than sitting in his office. The kitchen staff are lovely. One minor observation, would it be possible for all staff to wear badges clearly marked with their names so the residents see who they are talking to?

Reply from Mike Campling, Home Manager at Nightingale Hall

We have all name badges on order some of which are now back, thanks for your review, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Overall Experience

Nightingale Hall was home to my parents for over five years. My mother passed away in August 2016, three years after my father. Words are inadequate to describe the complete peace of mind we felt as a family as a result of the caring, friendly, professional, calm and dignified care that the excellent staff gave our parents. The building, gardens, facilities, cleanliness are exceptional. The decor stunning. The food is first class and tailored to their needs. The activities and events are fun and appropriate we will miss the Christmas party. Genuine outstanding care.
