Byker Hall provides a TV lounge and a quiet sitting room on each floor. The home also provides separate dining rooms, where residents can socialise at meal times. Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served with daily menus being available. Special diets can be catered for.
Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist. Complementary therapies can be arranged for residents.

I have been visiting this care home for a number of years as my nana is a resident. When I initially found out she was going into a home I was very sad and down as I felt that this was the end for her. I had not much experience with care homes and it did not seem right. This care home and staff have changed my mind completely. My nana is well looked after, happy and always involved in regular activities that keep her and her mind active. I would like to thank all the staff and management for everything they do for her and the family. She is well cared for and always happy with being there. Dementia might be something she is suffering from but she always has a smile and likes where she is. She is always commenting on it being home sweet home.

At Byker Hall, all the staff are very caring. You can approach them whenever you need to talk to them, they are always busy. Sometimes they deal with some difficult situations, but in my opinion, they handle themselves very well.

In early December 2016 my dad came to Byker Hall for respite care, initially for a few weeks. My dad has dementia and Byker Hall was to give my mother a bit of respite from looking after my dad. Byker Hall is my dad's home now and I am so grateful for the care he receives. The carers always have a positive attitude and I can honestly say I have not once seen them lose their temper, or been grumpy with the residents or visitors.
Dad's care is first class and I am so grateful for their attention to my dad. They are truly a wonderful set of people.
