Recently a relative was transferred from hospital to Prince's Court for what turned out to be end of life care. She was too ill to use the facilities and was there for too short a time for me to comment properly on value for money - other than to say that the care given was priceless.
All the staff I met were brilliant but I do have to mention the nursing staff in particular, who treated my aunt with such care and kindness. I was perfectly happy to go home for a few days (some 300 miles away) and not worry that she was being looked after. The staff managed her pain and obvious distress with great compassion but still managed to give relatives a few moments of quality time with her towards the end.
As relatives, we were also looked after - communication with relatives was excellent at all times.

I will always remember the nursing staff were as upset at losing a patient, as we were at losing an aunt.

Excellent care and facilities - residents and families are treat like one of the family. Excellent and approachable management and staff. Good activities programme with a growing residents and family committee which ensures that everything happening in the facility is discussed and agreed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stable, nurturing and safe residence for their loved ones.

Overall Experience

My mum has been in Prince's Court as a patient on the palliative side for five months during this time mums care and support has been second to none. As well as caring for family members during this very upsetting time. The manager is first class and very hands on, she is totally approachable and I feel able to talk to her about mums on going care. The carers are fantastic and work extremely hard providing extra support to us all. Standards of cleaning are first class and the rooms are cleaned regularly. Mum is treated with care and dignity and all her needs are met. First class home.
