Overall Experience

My mother had to go into care urgently and this concerned me as I have had dealings with other care homes in the past. If only they were all ran in the way that The Mews is and were blessed with the exceptionally kind and caring staff.

My mother's care was second to none, nothing was a bother no problem was insurmountable. She was always spoken to and handled as if a friend.

The nurses gave the very best of care and reassured and kept family members informed and included.

All family members were welcomed to visit at any time of day or night. We were supplied with tea, coffee, sandwiches and the best cream scones ever. The staff checked on us to make sure we were as comfortable as possible without being intrusive.

A very difficult time was made so much easier to deal with for all involved.

Harty thanks are sent to all.

My sister has been in The Mews for about six weeks now and the care she has received has been excellent. The staff are friendly and approachable and always keep us up to date on my sisters progress. My sister is happy and settled and we as a family know she is receiving the care she needs now.

I would highly recommend The Mews for a friend or family member. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything you do.

My mum has only been in the home for a couple of weeks but I have to say that the standard of care there is excellent. The staff are friendly and they always put you at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I wasn't sure how my mum would cope about not being in her own home but she seems to have settled in just great. The staff are always keen to help her as and when she needs it. I would definitely recommend this care home to anyone who is looking for a high standard of care for their relative.

Overall Experience

The Mews is providing a first class care service to my mother from caring and attentive staff. The facilities are very good, providing a varied food menu and a range of activities. Medical and care staff are friendly and provide good care. Admin staff are also efficient and respond to discussion/problems 10/10 - worthy of such a score.

I can only say that my husband in The Mews care home is very well looked after. Every one of the staff are lovely with him and also myself when I go to see him. He is treated with dignity and respect as I have noticed every other resident is. I can only say how much I appreciate all the staff who look after him.
