My mam stayed in Astune Rise while I went on holiday for a week. The Staff were amazing my mam couldn't of asked for better care and attention from the staff and manager. My mam was so supported by everyone as she has never stayed in a care home before they made her feel comfortable and at ease. I couldn't
of asked for more from these amazing People.

Dad was admitted to Astune Rise for palliative care. The staff were just amazing, treating my Dad with care, dignity and respect. I'm sure they'd would be the first to agree, it's not the smartest care home, yet I would much rather have substance over style any day.


As a family, we felt cared for

and supported and importantly, regularly kept informed of Dad's condition. It's sad Dad wasn't well enough to appreciate all that the home had to offer, and he didn't get to experience what a happy, special place it is.

After many years living alone my mother was very reluctant to move into a care home, however, ill health dictated the need for 24/7 support. This care home came highly recommended and I can understand why! Since moving to Atune Rise she has totally transformed. She is making friends and taking part
in ALL activities provided. Her mobility has greatly improved too, she is a much happier and more social version of herself.

My mam has been in Astune Rise for almost 6 months. The staff are all fantastic and deal with the residents with respect. Mam has now made some close friends and seems to be coping much better. The stripper before Valentines day really lightened the mood of the residents.

This home is warm and friendly, excellent care is given 24 hours a day. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond their duties. Activities are wonderful and the residents are kept busy constantly which is a very important factor to keep them motivated and busy and to have outings to look forward
to, also all families are included in these activities, which is wonderful. I feel happy and confident that mum is very happy, safe and I do not worry about her which is a massive factor for me - thank you.

Astune Rise Care Home has done nothing but look after my nana. She is happy there and well cared for. The entertainment and opportunities they provide their residents and families is outstanding. The manager is so friendly and welcoming. She is a credit to the care home.

The manager and staff are wonderful, always helpful and caring. My father has settled in so well, he is loving living at Astune Rise. My mum and family were worried about making the decision of Dad having to go into care, but we didn't need to. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are always
happy and smiling, polite and professional. This care home is not about staff and residents it's one big family.

My husband was ill for over 2 years with COPD and heart disease. He had good GP care, with ambulatory oxygen from May but deteriorated and was admitted to very busy respiratory wards. He was transferred to Astune Rise Care Home for terminal care and from admission, tensions eased for him and his family.
He had full o2 therapy and six days later died very peacefully after superb care. Family well supported.

Sorry, it's taken so long for this review needed a bit of time. Dad was looked after and cared for exceptionally during his time there. I would like to thank all the staff and manager for everything, for making Dad's stay so comfortable, and for making him smile. Thank you so much, it means a lot.

Absolutely fantastic respite care for my Mum. Staff are great and Mum came out happy and 2 weeks on is still really happy. Full star rating which is really important to know for the future. This is the place Mum wants to be when the time comes.

From the day we made contact nothing was too much trouble. The whole team from the manager to the nursing staff, carers and cleaners made our and our mum's experience better than we had imagined.
During the 3 weeks of end of life care, Mum was treated with respect, dignity and love and we were given
the support and space we needed.
We can't thank the team enough.
We'd recommend Astune Rise to anyone looking for high-quality care with a personal touch.

When our mum was placed on end-of-life care, we were very lucky to find her a place in Astune Rise.
24 hour visiting and the warm welcome we got the first time we viewed the home made our decision very easy.
Mum's life sadly ended after only 3 weeks in the home, but the outstanding care and love
she received from the staff, will remain in our hearts.

My mam went in January 2024 for respite and never came out. She's totally at home and loves the staff who are caring and always go that extra mile to help. She enjoys the meals and always goes on about them. Entertainment is good and enjoys a particular famous fitness instructor. Astune Rise is always

Astune Rise is a 'Home'! My mother became a resident following a stroke. My father went into the home for respite care in October. My father returned home and realised he needed residential care as he needed 24/7 care. Mam and Dad are now permanent residents. They have rooms close together and they
both love the home. The manager is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I have asked so many questions as I was the sole carer for my parents and I've been given answers. Everyone working in the home is fantastic and in turn, have become 'friends' to my parents. I can not praise this home enough, it is fantastic.

My family and I are delighted with the level of care provided to our relatives. The whole team are friendly, caring and take the time to treat residents as individuals. The activities are fun, well-balanced and inclusive.
Our relatives' health has improved since living at Astune Rise Care Home and
