My sister is so happy in this wonderful nursing home. The manager runs a fantastic ship, and her staff are kind, excellent and very thoughtful. Her care is second to none, and I would highly recommend this nursing home.

From the moment you enter Astune Rise you are aware of the love and care the staff have for the residents and families alike. The management of the home is outstanding and the drive and passion to ensure that all the residents are well cared for and happy is evident and this has a direct influence on
all the staff who carry out their work with such a cheerful disposition.
My mother has settled well into a very safe and secure environment, where all her needs are met. She is happy and content, enjoying beautifully cooked meals and taking part in many enjoyable,
stimulating activities, in fact, her days are full.
As her daughter, I am always kept fully informed of any issues and all aspects of mam's care are fully discussed with me.
Mam entered Astune Rise in the very difficult time of Covid restrictions, but these were excellently managed by the staff resulting in creating a safe environment for all.I would and do highly recommend Astune Rise as an excellent care home.

I would highly recommend Astune Rise and the service it provides. The management and all staff are an amazing team. The care my auntie receives is excellent and she is very content, she feels safe, joins in all activities and enjoys the food. The home has managed Covid restrictions extremely well, putting
the residents' welfare first at all times. We received a friendly, professional welcome the day I brought my auntie to her new home. The staff are not only taking care of my auntie but are very supportive of the family too.

My mam was a resident of Astune Rise for just 8 weeks. She was cared for in the most dignified manner. The manager and her staff supported mam and us (her family) fully in what was a very difficult time throughout the peak of covid. I can't thank them enough.

My uncle was in Astune Rise for several months due to elderly, frail end of life, he had been in before for respite. The staff, management, cleaners etc were excellent with everything they did for him right to the end. I would highly recommend this care home and the service it gives to anyone.

Excellent staff and facilities. Families and service users were made to feel welcome, my Aunt has never looked so well as she does after 2 weeks of respite care. She even volunteers herself to return whenever we are unable to care or visit her at home.

All the staff were extremely friendly and went over and above towards my sister and myself. My sister was treated with dignity and care. Our Mam was cared for with the highest of standards from all staff. Full care in every aspect given to ou Mam, whilst she was given palliative care. Staff also supported her family and nothing was ever a trouble to them.

My Grandma was transferred to Astune on palliative care and shortly went into end of life care. She was treated with respect and dignity whilst in Astune. Staff were very respective and supportive of all the family. Room was clean, however, decoration could have been a lot better as this was very dated.

We have visited Astune several times over the last 3+ years to see a relative. The staff are very caring and understanding of everyone's needs, including the residents and family. The lunches are also of a very high standard. Our aunt enjoyed the food until her last day!

Having viewed similar homes that were purpose built, I was impressed with the homely feeling that Astune Rise has to offer.
Care staff are welcoming and staffing levels are very good compared to larger corporate type establishments.
The home is undergoing redecoration and garden areas are being developed
and provide tranquil areas for visiting.
Food menus are excellent, providing choices and are varied compared to other homes.
Small but friendly, the care is excellent in this lovely little home.

My mother has been a resident for 15 months and there is no better care home in my eyes. I have worked in a local care home and it is nothing compared to Astune Rise. From the Manager to the shop floor, everyone will bed over backwards to help or offer extra support. My family know that our mother
is appreciated and is not just a resident but akin to a family. What a brilliant home this is. There are no words to say truly what a fantastic care home Astune Rise is. Well done.

Chris was a registered general nurse and qualified in 1981. She is the clinical lead at the home and has a vast amount of experience. Chris was employed in March 2018 as a staff nurse and quickly progressed to the clinical lead post in June 2020.
