Very homely feel with thoughtful, caring and friendly staff. Small dated bedrooms but clean and smelling fresh. Good, home cooked food with a wide choice. Individual attention to occupants and seem to be treated with genuine friendliness and dignity. Most staff have a smile on their faces even when
stressed! Good, thoughtful nursing care.

I flew over from Canada to visit my sister-in-law who had just been placed at Astune Rise.
Walking into the facility with my son and a friend, immediately one felt like it was walking into a home, not a facility.
We were greeted by the staff, asked if they could bring us tea or coffee. So friendly
and professional.
Home cooked meals - what more could one ask for.
My sister-in-law called them her angels.
I came home 6 days later, my mind at rest.

We visited a friend who moved into Astune Rise very recently. We were very impressed by the general atmosphere and by the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff we met. They are wonderful people and it was reassuring to know that our friend is safe in their hands.

Job Title: Clinical Lead Joined: 2018

Chris was a registered general nurse and qualified in 1981. She is the clinical lead at the home and has a vast amount of experience. Chris was employed in March 2018 as a staff nurse and quickly progressed to the clinical lead post in June 2020.
