Our Mam was cared for with the highest of standards from all staff. Full care in every aspect given to ou Mam, whilst she was given palliative care. Staff also supported her family and nothing was ever a trouble to them.

We have visited Astune several times over the last 3+ years to see a relative. The staff are very caring and understanding of everyone's needs, including the residents and family. The lunches are also of a very high standard. Our aunt enjoyed the food until her last day!

From the Manager to the shop floor, everyone will bed over backwards to help or offer extra support. My family know that our mother is appreciated and is not just a resident but akin to a family. We visited a friend who moved into Astune Rise very recently. We were very impressed by the general atmosphere and by the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff we met. They are wonderful people and it was reassuring to know that our friend is safe in their hands.

Chris was a registered general nurse and qualified in 1981. She is the clinical lead at the home and has a vast amount of experience. Chris was employed in March 2018 as a staff nurse and quickly progressed to the clinical lead post in June 2020.
