I looked at a few care homes before settling for this one. After a visit to have a look around, this one seemed to have all that we wanted. My father would have company, nice surroundings and most of all be safe and secure. Happy with the care he has had up to date.
Thank you for sharing your lovely words and review with us, we hope your father is very happy with us here at Piper Court.
I'm very pleased with the care home.
Despite the current lockdown situation and not being able to visit, the staff have kept us up to date with developments on visiting procedures. They implemented the use of an iPad to WhatsApp clients. It appears that there has been an increase in activities to try and keep clients/residents from becoming lonely with not being able to see relatives face to face.
I find this care home very friendly and caring and know that my Aunt is being well cared for.
Mostly my experience has been positive I don't think COVID19 has helped and has certainly stretched all the skills of the staff team. However, I feel that the staff team have coped well given the challenges they have encountered. The main thing for me is that my mam has remained settled there. Hopefully, now the new manager is in place there will be more consistency in their approach to care given.
Unfortunately, my Dad was only in here just under two weeks before he passed but the care he received was unremarkable.
I cannot praise the staff here enough.
No support from the manager, never see her and cannot get an appointment, more interested in her dog.
We have taken your feedback very seriously and will address your concerns through our internal processes.
I would like daycare and a little chapel and little meetings and a nurse to try and stop me being ill too much, it's been a long time and I've lost a lot of time. I also would like to have a wheelchair and somebody to wheel me about as my walking is not good. Could you have a carer to check on my flat now and then? I also would like a doctor to visit sometimes. I would like him to try another x-ray on me again providing I'm still in the care home for a while I do need care badly.
I find the staff very helpful and friendly most of the time.
Everyone has been kind and thoughtful.
I have been very happy with the care and attention my husband is receiving in this care home. The staff are very attentive to his needs. They are also very willing if I ask for their help in any way. As a family, we feel very lucky to have got him in a very pleasant room in this establishment.
As a family, we have been made to feel extremely welcome and nothing has ever been too much trouble.
Mum's 100th Birthday Party, organised by staff at the home, was a wonderful celebration.
Most of the staff are very caring and look after the residents.
Maybe more thought could be put into meals - not always tailored to meet the needs of diabetics.
Also, more baths/showers should be given to residents unable to help themselves.
The welcome to the home was heartwarming, all staff were very attentive and ensured that all needs were fully assessed prior to her arrival. A very community like atmosphere.
Very pleased with the care home and staff very pleased with the care my mother receives.
Pleasant staff and good atmosphere. My auntie was well looked after and she loved to watch horse racing and tennis in the TV room.
My grandfather came into Piper Court in July 2017 and the staff have been brilliant. Any problems they have informed either my father or me. They have provided my grandfather with care and support and have provided reassurance to him when needed.
She has loved her stay and is considering permanent care at this home.
This reflects the level of care she has been given by all the staff who could not have done more for her.
Thank you very much.
I would recommend this home to anybody and as a result, we will be back.
This is a wonderful home. It is clean and never smells as some homes do. I cannot praise the staff on the 1st floor enough. They are kind, caring and affectionate to the patients far beyond their remit. My aunt has been very happy and content to stay in this home and I would recommend it without hesitation.
