My father was extremely well cared for in the home. The attention & care that he received was exemplary right up to the end. The whole family were also well catered for. The staff, caring staff & medical & also other staff in the organisation.
Food and care = very good, entertainment really appreciated and stimulated for him. Thank you.
The hardest thing to do was to putting my day into a home, but every member of staff was so welcoming and made me feel at ease and showed how caring they all were. The rooms are being updated and will all look amazing once done. The food and drink is always flowing and I get to eat with Dad like being at home. This care home definitely carers for every of my dad's needs and that's all I need to know. Thank you.
Cartmel Grange is an amazing home my mum is well cared for by the staff she has been the happiest I have seen her and having a better quality of life.
I visit every day and really look forward to it. It is a happy and safe place for my husband. The care is excellent the staff are all kind, caring and loving. I know my husband is well taken care of here.
My husband came to CG at Easter and we found everyone to be very welcoming, they couldn't do enough to make him feel comfortable or to make us feel supported. We feel confident that he is safe and being well cared for. Thank you to all at CG.
Good entertainment.
Very happy with the care my dad gets.
The home has the feeling of a big family home!!
Thank you so much!!
P.S. the 'guard of honor' to escort him out of the home when he passed was just beautiful.
Thankyou for your lovely comments . We will miss your father and the rest of the family . Feel free to pay us a visit and a coffee .
I am very happy with the all-round care my partner is receiving. The staff are friendly, approachable and have a very care minded, attentive attitude towards the residents and their family. Entertainment is suitable for their needs (games) and singing groups make a lovely chance to join in. All aspects of care, support and friendship are met by all members of staff.

Since my relative came to this home Cartmel Grange, she has been treated with exceptional care, respect and dignity. She is quite complex and some special needs. She was in other care homes before coming here, this home is far superior in the care they give. Cannot praise the manager enough + the staffs approach to giving care.
Thankyou Very much for your kind words , I shall share your feedback with the staff team.
Can not express my words enough, re everything they have done for my mum. Amazing staff with 100% understanding re my mum. Thank you for everything you all do.

My husband came to Cartmel Grange just 2 months ago to a very friendly welcome. There is a relaxed and supportive environment with excellent care from everybody. Good food, enjoyable and varied activities and the lovely nurses and crers create a truly homely feel.
Thankyou for your feedback and your kind words. I will share this with the staff team .
From the very first day my husband was admitted to Cartmel Grange I knew he would be well cared for. All the staff are always most welcoming and attentive, no matter what the need. My husband has many needs and issues, but he is always clean and tidy. This room is beautiful and clean. Although he prefers not to leave his room, his food is brought to him, the menu appears to be varied and well presented. He never complains. The laundry service seems to be very efficient now after some minor issues when he was first admitted. The entertainment seems to be very important, although we never partake. Special occasions are always celebrated well. A home that's very professional in my opinion.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I will share your feedback with the staff team, I'm sure they will be delighted with your comments .
All the staff are kind, helpful and very supportive to my mum. I feel when leaving her she is happy and safe.
Thank you for your very kind feedback. I shall share this with our staff team.
My dad was admitted here from hospital must be 8 years ago now and the staff couldn't do enough for him. They took proper care of him, better than the hospital. The first day there, myself and the family arrived a couple hours later, 3 adults and a few kids and they welcomed us, made us all some tea and ice lollies for the kids after tea. The care and love they had for him was amazing. They also made a little buffet and a cake for him for his 65th birthday and we had it in the TV room on the 3rd floor. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they did in the little time he had left so thank you.
Thank you for leaving us your feedback. Your comments will be shared with the staff team. We aim for everyone to feel welcome, we still keep in a stock of treats for children for when they visit.
The place is very clean and nicely decorated.
There is entertainment in the form of singers who come in regularly and activities for the residents to partake in.
And they have a bus that takes residents on days out to local attractions, wheelchair bound or not.
Food is good and plentiful. And detailed records are kept on each resident.
The only down side is that, for my mum, it is very expensive.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The staff team will be delighted with your kind words. The fee rates are generally aligned with other care homes in the region.
Very caring staff, helpful and compassionate environment.
My mother has lived at Cartmel Grange Nursing home over the past two and a half years and I am writing this as her life nears its end. The staff have been fantastic, so kind, caring and compassionate and I take great comfort knowing that my mother is in their care. Cartmel Grange is an old building, full of character. Highlights for my mother have been trips to the dining room each day for lunch where she has made new friends and enjoyed the food. Cartmel Grange encourage families to come and eat alongside residents which is really good. The garden is fantastic, the views amazing and we have spent many happy days in it.
