My father has been at Riverside Court for nearly a year and he has settled better than I dared to hope he would, after living in his own home in London till the age of 90. He is really comfortable and content at Riverside Court and he loves hearing the singers who often visit. Some of the carers go above and beyond, e.g. when his partner visited recently, they arranged a special table so they could eat together in the lovely sitting room.
On a recent visit to my friend, I visited her husband in this well organized home, the staff were cheerful, effecent and very welcoming he was obviously well looked after and appeared very content, which was lovely to see.
Thank you for your comments about your recent experience at Riverside Court Care Home. Our residents' wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care.
What makes this nursing home work is the staff. Undervalued by their employees and disrespected. Some staff thinking of leaving because of it! The trained staff work relentlessly. Looking after me very well that I feel safe in their hands. The chef and staff have catered to my complex needs. Under dietitian for 4 years. 13 years losing weight. Now I can pinch an inch. Marvelous. Company should treat staff and pay them an increase now!
Thank you for your feedback. We are proud of our dedicated staff who provide compassionate and high-quality care. Your comments will be shared with our team as we strive to support both residents and staff alike.
Riverside Court Care Home is an excellent home. My husband is treated with great kindness and respect. All the staff are friendly, caring and deliver their service with compassion and calm expertise. The home is always spotlessly clean, and the staff have given a lot of thought in creating a warm, welcoming and supportive environment. I would highly recommend the care home.

This review is based on a single short visit and is therefore only a snapshot, not an evaluation. I cannot comment on what I did not see. I found my brother was calm and confident, and I saw he was being cared for by kind, smiling staff. He was comfortable in his room but also enjoyed walking around and sitting in other areas, and there was always someone around to keep a careful eye on the residents. I was very impressed with the security.
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience of our home. We are pleased to learn it has been so positive and look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care.
Staff contact is good if there has been a problem like Dad falling or illness. Telephone clarity is poor line have informed home several times that myself and other people cannot hear staff due to poor telephone signal/method. Staff are kind and welcoming. My dad is happy at the home.

My mam came to live at Riverside in September of last year. It wasn't something we were looking forward to as a family, but our worries were soon put at ease. It's a fantastic place, as are the staff. In February of this year, we thought we were losing her, and the staff couldn't do enough for my mam and us as a family.

My brother came into Riverside Court on 26/2/25 after being diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. He passed away on 10/6/25. The facilities and care were outstanding. Riverside Court is a fantastic nursing home, brilliantly ran always clean and warm. All staff without exception are pleasant and friendly, nothing is a problem and so relaxed.
I couldnt fault the home in any way,but have probably forgotten certain areas I should praise more.
Once again Thankyou
Thank you on behalf of the Team at Riverside Court for taking the time to write this lovely review. We are pleased to hear your Mum is thriving, we love having her here with us.
From day 1 the staff were phenomenal. The professionalism, the knowledge and experience of the nurses, carers, support staff coupled with their unbelievable kindness is something I have never experienced in any establishment before. We talk about the NHS being heroes during Covid but all these people at Riverside Court are just as much heroes as the NHS workers were. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and this really made my dads short stay as comfortable as possible during his illness.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending this nursing home to anyone in the future . I am so pleased my dads last few weeks were spent here, I couldn't have wished for any better place.
Thank you so much , it means a lot . Keep up the phenomenal work , you are all amazing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and your kind words about the team. We are extremely passionate about caring for our residents, and we're so glad it made a difference during a difficult time. All the best.
When our mother took a turn for the worse the staff at Riverside Court went over and above in the way they cared for out mam and also the kindness and hospitality shown to the family.
Since moving into Riverside, my sister-in-law is the happiest we have seen her in years even at home with carers she wasn't this happy. She loves the carers, the games, quizzes, karaoke, and the crack she has with all the staff and other residents. It's made her life much better.
Every time I visit its a joy to see the staff are happy and communicating with the residents and there seems to be plenty going on to keep everybody occupied.
All staff are very caring, polite and helpful. Not only to the residents but also to all visitors. Nothing is too much trouble. Upon admission, everything was explained in detail and any questions were answered. In my view, Riverside was/is the perfect choice and is an excellent care home.

My dad came to Riverside in February from being in hospital. He took some settling but now he is eating and drinking with thanks to the lovely staff and starting to gain weight. All the staff are lovely, friendly and nothing is any trouble; we are very pleased with my dad/granda's care.
My sister-in-law settled into Riverside Court straightaway. The staff are so caring. They help her to get involved in activities. She loves the meals. We've never seen her look so happy. The cleanliness is there at all times.
When my sister moved into the home both me and my sister were unsure, but not anymore, from management to staff and admin staff and activity coordinator are all excellent at what they do. My sister is so happy. She has gained weight for the first time in years and is always smiling. We thank you all for that. I would recommend Riverside Court Care Home very highly to everyone.
