This tastefully decorated purpose built home provides nursing and social care for the frail elderly and the mentally infirm elderly.

Accommodation at Riverside Court is provided in single occupancy rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities.

Riverside Court provides TV lounges and several quiet sitting rooms, one of which overlooks the extensive private grounds, where residents can relax. Traditional home cooking using fresh produce is served in the separate dining rooms, where residents can socialise at meal times.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist and qualified chiropodist. Complementary therapies can be arranged for residents.

The home has an activities therapist that provides a varied programme of activities to keep residents active.

The home is modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely, caring staff. Very welcoming and friendly at all my visits. My mother seems happy and secure here, which is the most important thing to me.

Mam has always felt at home here at Riverside Court. The staff treat her with care and attention. There are plenty of activities as well which keeps residents stimulated.

While looking for a residential home for my father 10 months ago, I visited quite a few in the area. The first thing I noticed was the smell and cleanliness of Riverside Court Care Home, which was not the case with the others. I find the staff warm and caring in fact a nice happy atmosphere. My dad
is treated with dignity and kindness which goes a long way. The staff are always on hand to speak to me nothing is ever too much.
Dad has a lovely room, with privacy, he's always clean and tidy.what ever the time of day we visit. I have peace of mind knowing he is safe and cared for when I leave.

I've been with Riverside Court now for 4 years having transferred from a sister home in Whitehaven.
Being local to the area since childhood, it's lovely having relatives come in who know myself and my family.
I qualified as a nurse in 1996 and have been fortunate to have worked in a variety of areas, Intensive care, to the community, to GP practice. This allowed me to both expand my knowledge base and adapt my working practice around both my daughters whilst they were growing up, for which I'm grateful for.
