My stay has been ok, it has been everything I'd hoped for. The staff are friendly and do go out of their way for me. I did enjoy going to the arts and crafts and I also went out to do a little shopping before I went home and also had lunch. The girls also left me some knitting and books for my room. I will return in the near future for another holiday, thank you.
I have been dreading going into a care home, even for respite. I have had a wonderful surprise, I am not having my independence taken away, there is always help if I want or need it. The staff are all lovely, fun, kind and compassionate. I feel like I am going on a very enjoyable holiday.
All staff are lovely and helpful. From management, carers, kitchen staff and cleaners are all amazing. I always feel welcome and love to see the foyer looking amazing. A special mention to the activity team who go above and beyond for everyone.
Excellent service, happy to have my sister in this care home. Very well looked after. Home from home. She enjoys the activities , they are brilliant.
Lovely atmosphere on arrival, staff are always happy and pleasant. Mam's room is always warm and clean. Lots of activities always on the go. Can't comment on food or drink because Mam is peg fed bit lovely dining room all set up nice for mealtimes.
Moved my parents into Riverside Court Care Home last year. After visiting the home, it felt really homely and friendly, the staff are all friendly and the activities offered are really well-organised and they go the extra mile for everyone.
Very clean. Staff are friendly. The food, I couldn't ask for anything better. Always plenty going on. Overall, I am very happy.
This care home has capable and friendly staff who do a great job in looking after the residents! I do notice that on some occasions there is not enough staff (maybe due to illness), but all staff are courteous friendly and willing to help residents in any way they can! I enjoy coming to visit.
My experience of Riverside Court Care Home, since my mum became a resident eight months ago, is nothing other than positive. The staff are incredible and afford everyone excellent care, whilst showing patience and understanding. The atmosphere is always friendly and jovial and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone works really hard to make Riverside a happy place to be. The catering is excellent, Mum loves her food and has as many cups of tea as she wants. She is kept stimulated with the amazing activity ladies and I'm really happy to have moved Mum here.
I would highly recommend.
It is a clean and well-kept/run care home and my father has settled right in.
Mum is being very well looked after and is enjoying all of the activities.
I can see the level of caring and dedication from all of the staff in Riverside Court Care Home. He is well looked after, the food is good as is the cleanliness of the home. It is a level of care that exceeded my expectations when putting my husband not a care home.
Riverside staff have brought a vulnerable lady who had lost trust in people due to some bad experiences back to a happy and confident person who continues to improve week by week.
Thank you to all from a very grateful relative, I would recommend this care home to anyone.
Thank you for sharing your recent experience of our home. We are pleased that it has been so positive and look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a fantastic day.
Pre-pandemic my sister, an independent retired Corporate Company Director who lived alone, traumatized by then several recent events, concluded she needed a 'Respite Break'
We looked around lots of care homes bearing in mind possible future needs, an alarming insight, most responses being "I couldn't stay there!'
Based on my own experience visiting friends and family in care and my hands on helping my sister including moving her out of another care home to Riverside can only praise the Manager and all of the staff, what certainly appears to be an excellence of experience and caring staff working together as a team.
From telephone enquiry (Riverside isn't in our home town) I've been impressed, similarly when shown around the home, the cleanliness and air quality/freshness in the building, and ever since the food, quality care and attention with dignity shown to all residents.
Thank you, Ken, for your comments about your recent experience at Riverside Court Care Home. Our residents’ wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care. We always appreciate individuals taking the time to give their feedback and we...
The staff here are amazing. They are so caring and kind to her. It’s wonderful. She is no longer frightened, she’s eating well and settling in nicely. The relief we have as a family knowing she is local, and well looked after is unmeasurable. I am so grateful to the team there, for they are not only kind and compassionate to her, they are to us as well. They treat her with patience, love and care. She is treated like a proper human being. With dignity and respect.
We are allowed to take her out for walks and trips but the nicest thing is that they do it too.
They are open and honest with you about how best to cope with the good days and bad days. So we know what to expect.
I don’t think you could ask for a more dedicated and knowledgeable team. This goes right from the top with the manager all the way down. Everyone knows who she is and greet her with love and care. Perfect reassurance for us.
Thank you, Helene, for your positive feedback towards Riverside Court Care Home. One of our top priorities is to provide comfort into the home so all residents feel welcomed. We are so pleased to hear how well your relative has settled in. If there is anything more we can do, please do not hesitate to reach out.
I am delighted my sister is being looked after by such a caring, helpful and happy team, Riverside has impressed me and exceeded my expectations, giving my sister all the help and support she needs to keep her safe, comfortable and happy.
Living hundreds of miles away from the care home it's a great comfort to me knowing my sister is being looked after by a home I can trust and it's very clear that they genuinely care about all their residents.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback about our home. We are pleased to hear that your experience has been positive and appreciate all of your kind comments about our team. We hope to see you again soon.
When we do go, we see how well she is doing in the dignified and impressively clean surroundings, she is cared for and treated with the utmost respect by the carers and we come away knowing she is in a safe environment.
Thank you, Lesley, for letting us know how we are doing at Riverside Court Care Home. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing.
Happy dad settled very well. All his needs are finally being met. Seen a big difference in his health and mood. The staff are very supportive to me and my sister. Surroundings are ideal for dad.
My experience with Riverside is very good for my husband. He has settled in grand and enjoys the entertainment, and they are very good.
