I have found Beaconsfield Court Care Home to be a very good home.
The staff are always helpful and I feel I can talk to them about anything concerning mum.
They look after mum well.

Mum enjoys going out and there is plenty of trips out etc.

I regularly visit the home and it is a lovely place with a great atmosphere. All of the staff are very friendly especially the activities coordinator who goes over and above for the residents with new and engaging activities.

My mum came to the Beaconsfield following diagnosis of pancreatic cancer which made it impossible for her to remain at home due to her health. My first impression of the Beaconsfield was 'a friendly family run hotel' - the atmosphere is excellent and the level of care was first class.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Beaconsfield. Both the staff and facilities are excellent.

I visited the home during their Christmas Fayre and was very impressed with the work everyone put in. The Santa's Grotto was beautiful and my granddaughter loved it. The staff were all amazing and a good time was had by all.

Beaconsfield Court Care Home, Barnard Castle - I can't recommend them enough. Management, carers and all staff give excellent care, love and support to my mother. In times of illness and stability with my elderly mother - they are a constant.
Christmas Winter Fayre held yesterday was outstanding - with manager and staff going the extra mile.

Lovely homely put professional attitude in the home. Manager and seniors, all very approachable.

As a family, we are extremely grateful for the love and care shown to a much-loved husband, dad and grandad and support for us. The manager and staff are fantastic (it's the little things that count). We must also thank the activity manager for everything that is continuing to be done. You make such a difference. Although there are communication difficulties, we know that our relative is very happy.

Since my Dad has been staying in the Beaconsfield I have only praise for every aspect of his care. He was incredibly reluctant to go into a care home but unfortunately as his health failed it was inevitable. All the staff made this transition bearable for him. They are always cheerful, caring and very attentive to his every need.

Found staff to be very caring and made the place seem very homely.

Lunches could be a little more seasonal, e.g. warm sweets in the winter time.

At HC-One we change our menus twice a year in line with the seasons and following feedback we receive from our Residents. When visiting my nana I am very pleased with how certain staff are with her, more now than when she first came into the home. Certain new staff involve my nana and keep her occupied with stuff she enjoys. It is lovely and settling for me to see :).
